Kamala Harris campaign advisor Lindy Li announced her departure from the Democratic Party due to its shift toward radicalism and intolerance of differing opinions. On Piers Morgan’s "Uncensored," she expressed that, after criticizing the party following Kamala's defeat, she faced harassment and attempts to cancel her by fellow Democrats. Li noted that she lost 40,000 followers in four days due to boycott campaigns against her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the party, which claims to support inclusion and diversity but ostracizes those who criticize its leaders.
Li also mentioned dissatisfaction among Democratic fundraisers regarding the party’s financial management, pointing out the waste of billions and questionable spending, such as for lavish hotels and large sums to Al Sharpton. She stated that asking these questions was like leaving a cult, emphasizing the culture of fear around dissent. Ultimately, Li left the party due to its hypocrisy and harassment, stating that she prefers to support a group that respects her contributions and values straightforward principles regarding gender and sports.
