Democrats Don’t Transfer Power Peacefully

After President George W. Bush's inauguration on January 20, 2001, his new White House staff found their offices vandalized, with destroyed property, obscene messages, and broken items left by outgoing Clinton administration staff. This behavior was a response to Vice President Al Gore's refusal to concede the election, which led to national division and bitterness over the disputed elections. The outgoing staff's actions were petty and included leaving vulgar notes and even stealing items from the White House.

The article argues that the Democrats’ reluctance to acknowledge their actions set a precedent for future behavior, particularly in 2017 when the Obama administration, along with Hillary Clinton, attempted to frame Donald Trump as a Russian agent. This involved illegal spying on Trump’s campaign and public accusations against Russia regarding election interference. The truth about the Clinton campaign's role in the collusion narrative only came to light after extensive investigations cleared Trump of wrongdoing.

The author suggests that if the media had not aligned with Democrats, the actions taken against Trump would have been seen as major political scandals. The article notes how the Democratic party used intelligence resources against Trump and accused Russia of election theft, heightening tensions with a nuclear power.

Fast forward to today, President Trump received strong public support for his platform, and the author believes that President Biden should have recognized this support by respecting Trump’s initiatives. Instead, the Biden administration is described as trying to undermine Trump's campaign promises and priorities in various ways, including staffing loyal allies in government positions and allocating funds to policies that counteract Trump’s goals.

The piece claims that instead of seeking a peaceful transition, President Biden has continued policies that provoke conflict, particularly regarding Ukraine and foreign military actions. The article concludes by pointing out a pattern of Democrats failing to transfer power peacefully, with a history of shameful exits from office and behaviors that aim to sabotage their successors.
