The Biden Administration Has Dramatically Expanded Migration to U.S. The 125,000 refugees per year ceiling has been operational for a few years.

The Biden administration has fostered other transformative reforms to promote and encourage migration to the U.S. One of the reforms, known as Welcome Corps, has transferred control over the resettlement process to private entities and private individuals, allowing them to "Select their own 'refugees' and future American citizens."

"The Biden administration has also expanded USRAP. In January 2023, it launched the Welcome Corps program, 'the boldest innovation in refugee resettlement in more than 40 years'.

Another program operating under the umbrella of the Welcome Corps was introduced in July 2023 as an education pathway to citizenship for refugees.

The program is called the 'Welcome Corps on Campus' and is designed to welcome refugees straight to U.S. dorms and campuses, allowing for 'U.S. higher education institutions to serve as resettlement spaces and academic opportunities for refugee students.

Welcome Corps is a private sponsorship program for refugees that allows for the selection of refugees with very little oversight-moreover, the program benefits mostly from taxpayer funding.

The program enlists the help of Americans to sponsor refugees with the goal of "mobilizing at least 10,000 Americans to step forward as sponsors.

NIH Defies FOIA, Moderna Vaxx Royalties Paid To Government Remain State Secret

"The U.S. National Institutes of Health is refusing to release additional information about an agreement it reached over a COVID-19 vaccine that has earned it at least $400 million."

The NIH declined to provide any materials in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from The Epoch Times.

'The NIH withholds the entirety of the records as they are protected from release,' Gorka Garcia-Malene, an NIH officer, told The Epoch Times in a letter.

She cited an exemption outlined in the act that allows government agencies to partially or fully withhold information.

"Tens of thousands of people rallied over the weekend in a central Tokyo park to protest the World Health Organization's proposed pandemic treaty and amendments to the International Health Regulations - proposals that critics allege threaten Japan's and other countries' national sovereignty".

Izumi Kamijo, a member of WCH Japan, told The Defender the site was symbolic as it once housed the Sugamo Prison, 'where most of the top government and military people after World War II were detained who refused to collaborate with the occupying force, i.e., General McArthur and the U.S. military.

Woods Exposes The Federal Reserve System

 The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis tells us the Fed's congressional assignment is "To promote maximum employment and price stability." For these it talks about interest rates, and its aim is to increase the money supply so that prices rise gently at or around a 2 percent rate.

After defining the Federal Reserve System - the Fed - as the American central bank enjoying "a government-granted monopoly on the creation of legal-tender money," Woods proceeds to evaluate the Fed from a broad or macro perspective.

Woods takes us back through American history to see how banking and credit developed.

During the period between the expiration of the first Bank of the US and the creation of the Second Bank of the US - 1811-1817 - the government granted banks the privilege of expanding credit unsecured by deposits while allowing them to tell depositors attempting to withdraw their money to "Come back in a couple of years." While banks could be charged with legal counterfeiting and embezzlement, Woods does not use the terms.

The obvious result was a very fragile and undiversified banking system in which banks could be brought to ruin if local conditions turned sour.

As Milton Friedman was fond of pointing out, although the Great Depression claimed over 9,000 American banks, the number of banks that failed in Canada at that time was zero.

American bank panics, it turns out, were in large part the result of government intervention - in the form of unit banking - in the first place.

Russia To Seize $440 Million From JPMorgan

 As The FT reports, the order, published in the Russian court register on Wednesday, targets funds in JPMorgan's accounts and shares in its Russian subsidiaries, according to the ruling issued by the arbitration court in St Petersburg.

Specifically, The FT notes that the dispute centers on $439mn in funds that VTB held in a JPMorgan account in the US. When Washington imposed sanctions on the Kremlin-run bank, JPMorgan had to move the funds to a separate escrow account.

Under the US sanctions regime, neither VTB nor JPMorgan can access the funds.

In response, VTB last week filed a lawsuit against the New York-based group to get Russian authorities to freeze the equivalent amount in Russia, warning that JPMorgan was seeking to leave Russia and would refuse to pay any compensation.

The following day, JPMorgan filed its own lawsuit against the Russian lender in a US court to prevent a seizure of its assets, arguing that it had no way to reclaim VTB's stranded US funds to compensate its own potential losses from the Russian lawsuit.

Yesterday's decision sided with VTB, ordering the seizure of funds in JPMorgan's Russian accounts and "Movable and immovable property," including its stake of a Russian subsidiary.

Last summer, a Russian court froze about $36mn worth of assets owned by Goldman following a lawsuit by state-owned bank Otkritie.

Biden's Department of Justice argued Thursday before the Supreme Court that droning American citizens is permissible because Obama's DOJ said so, whereas questioning election results isn't OK because the government also says so.

The Supreme Court heard arguments on the scope of presidential immunity after special counsel Jack Smith alleged that former President Donald Trump should be tossed in jail for questioning the administration of the 2020 election.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh posed a series of hypotheticals to DOJ attorney Michael Dreeben about the scope of presidential authority, asking whether Gerald Ford's pardon of Richard Nixon in 1976 could have been investigated for obstruction of justice "On the theory that [Ford was] interfering with the investigation of Richard Nixon." Dreeben suggested that particular case would fall under "Presidential responsibilities that Congress cannot regulate." "How about President Obama's drone strikes?" Kavanaugh asked.

"The president wasn't personally carrying out the strike, but the aiding and abetting laws are broad, and it determined that a public authority exception that's built into statutes and that applied particularly to the murder statute, because it talks about unlawful killing, did not apply to the drone strike." "So this is actually the way that the system should function. The Department of Justice takes criminal law very seriously," Dreeben continued.

Three of the four were "Not specifically targeted." The other conservative justices expressed skepticism about the lack of presidential immunity throughout oral arguments, with Justice Samuel Alito saying a president would be in a "Peculiarly precarious position" if he had to worry about being indicted for actions taken while in office.

Trump's lawyer, D. John Sauer, argued that "Without presidential immunity from criminal prosecution, there can be no presidency as we know it." "For 234 years of American history, no president was ever prosecuted for his official acts," Sauer argued.

"If a president can be charged, put on trial and imprisoned for his most controversial decisions as soon as he leaves office, that looming threat will distort the president's decision-making precisely when bold and fearless action is most needed."

Due process of law, or at least its absence, is the heart of the unconstitutional lawfare aimed at Donald Trump this week in a New York courtroom, ostensibly for hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.

The right to due process is over 1,000 years old in English jurisprudence.

In virtually all those conflicts, a government's systemically denying its citizens' due process rights was at the conflict's heart.

The British freemen's right to due process of law appeared first in the Magna Carta of 1215, when the tyrant King John was imprisoning men and extorting their lands and possessions.

Due Process of law was reaffirmed as an Englishman's right in the English Bill of Rights of 1689 after the English deposed James I for dispensing with those rights and ruling as a tyrant.

Banks Spied On Trump Supporters For Biden

A new report reveals that there are now at least 13 banking institutions that were recruited by the Biden administration to spy on customers, without warrants, in the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol.

It is the Daily Mail that said in addition to the alleged involvement of Bank of America, Chase, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Citi Bank and Truist in the illicit spying, seven others now have been implicated.

Those all are being investigated by the U.S. House "For colluding with the federal government to spy on Americans" after the protest that turned into a riot, the report said.

The report explained the situation was that the Biden bureaucrats conspired with banks to look for indicators of "Extremism," "Like the purchase of a religious text, like a Bible, or searches including the terms 'MAGA' and 'TRUMP,'" the report confirmed.

The banking corporations apparently all were contacted by the U.S. Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network or FBI about spying on Americans' private banking actions - without any charges or warrant involved.

Records uncovered by investigators already show that FinCEN and the FBI got data on hundreds of individuals as a result of work with just one of the banks.

House investigators also have charged the Biden administration "Urged" crowdfunding platforms to search their own customers' records, the report said.

Now Biden's Plan To Raid The Rich Revealed

 Only hours after reports revealed Joe Biden's aggressive plans to tax tons of money away from middle class Americans, a new documentation appeared, showing how he is putting plans together to also "Raid the rich."

The Daily Mail report notes Biden's plan, revealed in a footnote, demands a top marginal rate on long-term capital gains dividends of up to 44.6%. That would put the actual tax rate higher than 50% in states like California, New Jersey and New York.

The tax rate comes in a footnote from the General Explanations of the Administration's Fiscal Year 2025 Revenue Proposals.

WND had reported only a day earlier Biden was threatening Americans in the nation's middle class with a huge tax increase if he's re-elected.

It explained Biden's plan to let the tax changes "Stay expired" actually "Would be a massive middle-class tax hike because the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was a massive middle-class tax cut. Yes, wealthy people also saw their taxes reduced by the TCJA, but the law actually shifted a greater portion of the tax burden onto the wealthy."

Gone to Americans would be a doubling of the child tax credit, a doubling of the standard deduction and lower tax rates.

"Keep in mind that rich people don't use the standard deduction, and the child tax credit phases out for the wealthy, and so these tax hikes would really only hit the non-rich," the report warned.

Possible Arson Attack Destroys 'CDM/Georgia Record' Storage Unit

A storage unit for CDM/The Georgia Record was completely burned in a likely arson attack in Miami recently.

The only units damaged in the massive warehouse with hundreds of lockers, were CDM's unit, along with those alongside.

Upon speaking with the building's owner, CDM was informed the surveillance cameras inside the warehouse were turned off at the time of the fire.

The fire department investigation could not determine a cause of the fire.

Harvard Study Confirms Fluoride 'Significantly Lowers' Children's IQ

A Harvard University meta-analysis funded by the National Institutes of Health concluded that children who live in locations with highly fluoridated water have "Significantly lower" IQ scores than those who live in low fluoride areas.

Despite the findings, the mainstream media and governments continue to ignore the science and insist that fluoride is perfectly safe for very young children to consume.

A report from the U.S. National Research Council concluded that adverse effects of high fluoride concentrations in drinking water may be of concern and that additional research is warranted.

The results suggest that fluoride may be a neurotoxicant that affects brain development in children at exposures much below those that can cause toxicity in adults.

Found the effect was even more pronounced among formula-fed children, especially regarding nonverbal skills.

The Democrats' Plan To Steal The Presidency For Good

The Democratic Party has been advancing its latest bold idea to create a uni-party state: A "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact."

As the AP noted, "Under the proposed compact, each state would allocate all its electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote for president, regardless of how individual states voted in an election."

The media understand this, as a recent ABC News headline shows: "State law takes U.S. a step closer to popular vote deciding presidential elections".

A "Popular vote"? Only to the extent the Democrats can rig it, with questionable mail-in ballots, dead people voting, live people voting more than once, and millions of government tax dollars handed out to left-leaning groups that focus almost exclusively on "Getting out the vote" for Democrats.

Hertz To Sell More EVs As Q1 Loss Exceeds Expectations

 Hertz Global Holdings Inc has raised the number of electric vehicles it plans to sell this year as it is cutting its EV fleet to reduce losses that have weighed on the car rental giant's earnings.

In the first quarter, Hertz upsized its EV disposition plan by 10,000 vehicles, for a total of 30,000 EVs intended for sale in 2024.

The company incurred a $195 million charge to vehicle depreciation to write down the EVs held for sale which were remaining in inventory at quarter-end to fair value and recognize the disposition losses on EVs sold in the period, Hertz said in a statement on Thursday.

Hertz reported a much larger loss for the first quarter than analysts had forecast.

Following the earnings release on Thursday, Hertz's stock crashed by 21% on the NASDAQ as of 10:03 a.m. EDT. Hertz was an early mover in buying EVs to rent to customers, but it and other car rental companies have recently started to sell the EVs they had previously purchased due to weaker customer demand for EV rentals.

Hertz, unlike other rental firms, has a more risky approach because it fully owns all the EVs it has bought and is losing money if the resale value slumps.

Earlier this year, Hertz said in a regulatory filing to the SEC it is selling roughly one-third of its electric vehicle fleet, highlighting the risk of its first-mover strategy when it comes to EVs.

The Supreme Court seemed skeptical on April 25 of former President Donald Trump's claim that he should receive absolute criminal immunity, but it appeared to be open to allowing some level of immunity for presidents.

This would further delay President Trump's trial in Washington and possibly other proceedings in Georgia, Florida, and New York, handing him a strategic win as he seeks to hold up cases until after the November presidential election.

Implications for Trump's Cases President Trump has argued that he should receive absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for acts that fell within the outer perimeter of his official duties.

The justices decided to tackle a narrower question: "Whether and if so to what extent does a former president enjoy presidential immunity from criminal prosecution for conduct alleged to involve official acts during his tenure in office?".

Experts have speculated to The Epoch Times that the Supreme Court will likely broaden the scope of presidential immunity to include criminal liability but to a more limited extent than what President Trump has requested.

The court ruled that presidents enjoyed absolute immunity from civil liability for actions that fell within the outer perimeter of their official duties.

The outcome of this appeal could delay lower court proceedings in President Trump's Washington trial and his cases in Georgia and Florida.

DOJ Won't Comply With Congressional Subpoena For Biden Audio From Robert Hur Interview

The Justice Department notified Congress on Thursday that it will not comply with a subpoena for audio recordings of President Biden's interview with former Special Counsel Robert Hur.

Jordan and Comer have threatened to launch contempt proceedings against Attorney General Merrick Garland if the DOJ does comply with the subpoena.

Uriarte argued that the DOJ has complied, by releasing transcripts of Hur's interview with Biden and other documents related to the federal investigation into the president's handling of classified documents.

The DOJ official charged the Judiciary and Oversight committees with failing to "Identify a need for these audio files grounded in legislative or impeachment purposes."

The DOJ had already rebuffed an earlier demand for audio of Hur's interview with Biden, arguing that releasing the recording would make it more difficult for prosecutors to secure interviews with witnesses or suspects in future investigations.

Jordan and Comer issued the subpoena for the audio files in late February.

In addition to the Biden interview transcript, the DOJ has also released a transcript of Hur's interview with the president's ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer.

Lawless Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Vetoes Bill to Require Proof of Residency for Voting

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs on Tuesday vetoed legislation that would define residency in Arizona and require proof of residency, such as a home rental agreement or ownership, to vote in the state's elections.

Hobbs stole the 2022 election for Governor from Kari Lake, and she is getting ready to rig the 2024 election for Joe Biden.

SB 2581 stipulates that "a resident is an individual who has actual physical presence in the state for at least one hundred eighty-one days with the intent to remain" but provides exceptions for individuals to vote if they provide evidence of employment, residential property, child school enrollment, and active duty military service.

Hobbs' veto comes as flyers instructing illegal immigrants to vote for Joe Biden in the forthcoming U.S. election have been reportedly distributed at a non-governmental organization in Mexico, according to an investigation by The Oversight Project, a watchdog initiative linked to the Heritage Foundation.

Voters are not required to show proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections on a "Federal only" ballot.

Hobbs vetoed SB 2581, claiming that it "Creates additional, unnecessary barriers for individuals registering to vote." Critics of the bill claim that it would bar out-of-state college students from voting in Arizona's elections as the bill defines "Resident" as an individual physical presence in the state for 181 days with the intent to remain.

Judge Unseals Documents Showing FBI Discussed 'Loose Surveillance' Of Trump's Plane

 A large tranche of documents were unsealed by Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday, revealing the FBI's code name for the probe.

A federal judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's classified documents case unsealed a new trove of documents on Monday, revealing the FBI's code name for the investigation and how the FBI spoke about performing "Loose surveillance" on the former president's aircraft before an unprecedented raid in 2022.

Among the documents the judge released Monday also included an FBI claim from June 2022 in which a counterintelligence official, whose name was not included, talked about carrying out "Loose surveillance" on President Trump's plane to see if "Boxes were loaded onto the plane."

The judge also unsealed an FBI document that detailed the FBI raid targeting the former president's Mar-a-Lago residence in South Florida in August 2022 when agents combed through his property to retrieve the documents.

In the newly unsealed filing, it noted that four agents from the FBI Washington field office, 25 agents from the FBI Miami office, one FBI official from the agency's headquarters, one Department of Justice counterintelligence and export control lawyer, and one official from the U.S. Attorney's office for the Southern District of Florida were involved.

More documents released Monday included an alleged witness giving an interview to the FBI. They were identified only as "Person 16" who allegedly worked in the Trump White House.

Neither President Trump nor Mr. Nauta have responded via their attorneys to the release of the documents.

Ron Paul Destroys Mike Johnson For Betraying America

With Biden's $60 billion in funding for Ukraine now fully authorized and implemented, the question is now what? The US President on Wednesday announced just after signing the bill that the Pentagon will start sending equipment to Ukraine "In the next few hours" straight from the US stockpile.

The Kremlin in response is vowing to push back the front lines deeper into Ukraine, and says that newly infused American weapons will burn.

The reality is that Ukraine is fundamentally suffering a severe crisis of manpower.

The new policy requires that all men 18 to 60 must update their information with a state office - and if they don't comply then they get cut off from all consular services abroad. According to The New York Times, US weapons could start arriving in Ukraine within days.

Can the Swamp be Drained?

Discretionary spending accounts for over a quarter of annual federal government spending and is subject to the whims of Congress on a yearly basis.

In 1999 discretionary spending amounted to $572 Billion, in 2023 $1.72 trillion, or an increase of 200% while the cumulative rate of inflation since 1999 is 82%. 2023 discretionary spending was larger than the annual gross domestic product of Australia or South Korea.

There is virtually no appetite in Washington, D.C. to cut spending as numerous companies and countless organizations are feeding from the seemingly bottomless trough continuously being replenished by 535 mostly self-serving members of Congress who will not curtail spending as they benefit from sizeable political donations from 13,000 lobbyists spending over $4 billion a year, the millions of dollars in unaccountable "Dark money," and the personal profit from insider information.

Then there are the 430 departments, agencies, and sub-agencies and the millions of federal employees issuing regulations and edicts while effectively distributing or spending unfathomable sums of money.

Finally, there is the increasingly Left-leaning federal judiciary which will be sympathetic to legal actions filed in opposition to any executive orders issued by Trump to dismiss vast numbers of federal employees or to curb the spending, regulatory, intelligence gathering, and audit powers of any government agency.

The judiciary will stymie virtually any attempt to use executive orders to "Drain the swamp." The leviathan that is the "Swamp" has been allowed to grow to the point where it cannot be drained on an incremental basis.

Government has become so large and corrupt that the only means of potentially "Draining the"swamp" is by abolishing entire departments and agencies, thus reducing discretionary spending and potentially eliminating corruption.

The citizenry, while claiming to be upset that the government is too big or intrusive, needs to elect to Congress those pledged to reduce spending and corruption.

If Donald Trump, the Republican Party, and candidates running for Congress campaign on "Draining the swamp" they must lay out the following plan on how to accomplish it.

All 430 departments, agencies, and sub-agencies were created by acts of Congress and signed into law by the president; therefore, Congress and the president can eliminate and/or restructure any or all of them.

If Trump regains the White House and the Republicans win control of Congress and they fail to do what is necessary to fulfill their pledge to "drain the swamp" then the "Swamp" will continue to grow incrementally larger, become more corrupt and intrusive, and evolve into being essentially drain-proof.

Another State Joins Scheme Making Its Own Presidential Votes Meaningless

Maine has become the newest state to adopt a controversial scheme that would give the presidency to the winner of each election's "National Popular Vote" and would, in effect, potentially permanently cancel any decision the state's own voters might make.

It joins Maine to a controversial idea that would give all of its Electoral College votes to the winner of that national vote, thus turning over ultimate presidential election power to 12 states: California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey and Virginia.

The decision in Maine means it is joining 16 other states and Washington, D.C., in the plan, which already has pledged 209 electoral votes.

Proponents of the new idea say they don't need a constitutional amendment, which would be nearly impossible to obtain, because it's just an agreement among states to allocate their Electoral College votes in ways they are allowed.

"In 2020, if 21,461 voters had changed their minds, Joe Biden would have been defeated, despite leading by over 7 million votes nationally. Each of these 21,461 voters was 329 times more important than the 7 million voters elsewhere," the compact promoters charge.

ABC reported Darrell West, of the Brookings Institute, explained, "If you look at all the presidential elections from 1992 through 2020, Republicans have won the presidential popular vote only once - and that was in 2004 when [George W.] Bush beat John Kerry in the popular vote. In every other election over the last 30 years, Democrats have won the popular vote, but because of the Electoral College, Republicans have gotten the presidency a couple of times despite losing the popular vote."

"The NPV slogan 'Every Vote Equal' is dishonest because the NPV proposal is based on legalizing vote-stealing. For example, Texas or Louisiana could be forced to cast votes for a candidate who won more votes in other states, such as New York," she explained at the time.

WHO Is NOT Backing Down On Its Pandemic Plans; There Is No "Major Victory For Freedom"

Please note that there are two instruments that WHO is attempting to have ratified at the next World Health Assembly taking place from 27 May to 1 June 2024: the IHR amendments; and, the Pandemic Treaty, also referred to as the Pandemic Accord, Pandemic Agreement and WHO Convention Agreement +. Both instruments are intended to achieve the same aim.

Although there have been several drafts of the proposed Pandemic Treaty, there has been little official information released regarding the IHR amendments.

Bearing the above in mind, in the video below TalkTV's Julia Hartley-Brewer interviewed Professor Carl Heneghan on Tuesday about the World Health Organisation's latest draft IHR and its pandemic plans.

The government's response was: "To protect lives, the economy and future generations from future pandemics, the UK government supports a new legally binding instrument to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness and response." The Government did not consider a referendum necessary, appropriate, or in keeping with precedent for such an agreement to be ratified.

The latest revisions include additions and deletions that must be agreed upon before the final vote to approve them at the World Health Assembly in late May. It's taking the TTE office some time to process these regulations, but four interlocking definitions are of the utmost importance: early action alert, public health emergency of international concern, pandemic emergency and pandemic.

Who decides what social and economic disruptions are required to call a pandemic emergency? Perhaps if you've got no money left in the government piggy bank, that's enough to sound the Pandemic emergency siren.

What Is Emergency Use Authorization?

During the Covid pandemic, the U.S. government spent billions of dollars on nearly 400 products intended to protect, diagnose, and treat hundreds of millions of people – all with the label “EUA” or “Emergency Use Authorization.” But what does EUA actually mean?

If we only understand one thing about EUA it should be this: EUA does not apply to a product undergoing a clinical trial governed by FDA regulations or other legal requirements.

Now let's look at what types of emergency situations EUA is legally designed to address.

Given such a narrow type of truly extreme emergency situation involving a WMD attack, it is understandable why the EUA "Access mechanism" does not require a lot of regulatory oversight or adherence to any manufacturing or clinical trial standards.

The FDA needs to make sure that it meets four "Statutory criteria" when it issues the EUA. The FDA has to "Impose certain required conditions" in the EUA. EUA Step 1: Declaring a CBRN Emergency.

The emergency declaration for EUA is separate and unrelated to any other emergency declarations that may be issued by the President, the HHS Secretary, or anyone else.

Cowardice, Not Courage, Led House Republicans To Side With The Democrats

 Over the weekend, the House of Representatives passed four foreign aid bills that will allocate a combined $95 billion to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and other "National security priorities." House Republicans followed Speaker Mike Johnson's lead and joined with Democrats to deliver all the foreign aid President Joe Biden wanted without requiring much of anything in return.

The passage came after House Republicans had handed the president similar victories with Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act reauthorization and government spending.

Every Republican candidate claims to support spending cuts.

Recently, Republicans have had to navigate their base growing more skeptical of Washington's hyperactive foreign policy.

To their credit, some Republicans were serious enough to try to use their small House majority to make as big a dent in the above problems as possible.

In the end, Mike Johnson and the so-called moderate Republicans gave in on all three fronts.

Texas law enforcement cracks down on pro-Hamas rioters in Austin

 Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Department of Public Safety took swift action Wednesday to crack down on pro-Hamas rioters in Austin who attempted to take over the campus of the University of Texas.

The response in Texas was markedly different than the response to violence committed against Jews on Columbia University's campus in New York this past week.

Bettencourt said, "This obviously paid flyer is digitally all over campus, and is an outside influence trying to find susceptible or even willing students to use as protest pawns, aka 'comrades; per this sheet? while the right of freedom of speech is a Constitutional guarantee in the United States, reclaiming something you don't own is not! Protests that turn violent only injure those that shouldn't be hurt." He said UT-Austin, Austin Police Department and Texas DPS "Won't allow that to happen in Texas." The protestors were met with Texas DPS officers dressed in riot gear and arrested.

Abbott shared a video of Texas DPS officers' efforts, saying, "Arrests being made right now and will continue until the crowd disperses. These protesters belong in jail. Antisemitism will not be tolerated in Texas. Period. Students joining in hate-filled, antisemitic protests at any public college or university in Texas should be expelled." DPS troopers were in full force in Austin, including those arriving from Houston.

In response, Texas DPS officers pushed protesters back with riot gear, blocked off access with a range of barricades, warned everyone that they were criminally trespassing and if they didn't leave, would be arrested.

According to a recent report, UT-Austin received a B grade for combating antisemitism; Rice University in Houston received an F. Abbott, the Texas legislature and state leaders have held a zero tolerance policy for antisemitism, advancing several efforts to protect Jews in Texas, The Center Square has reported.

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has reminded businesses about Texas' Israel boycott list, saying, "Texas has long been a friend and ally of Israel, and we support Israel's right to defend its land and people. Companies that do business with the state of Texas should keep that in mind."

Why Do Some COVID-19 "Vaccine" Side Effects Resemble Symptoms Of HIV?

A case report published in the AIDS Research and Therapy journal reveals that the side effects of Wuhan coronavirus "Vaccines" are almost exactly the same as the symptoms associated with acute HIV infection.

Researchers out of Germany took a closer look at the adverse events commonly reported in conjunction with COVID injections - things like fever, rash and headache - observing that acute HIV infection manifests very similarly.

"COVID-19 vaccination side effects, such as fever, which occur in up to 10% of people following COVID-19 vaccination, can make the diagnosis of acute HIV infection even more challenging," the team wrote in their study abstract.

According to lab studies, mRNA injections reveal the presence of HIV hiding in the immune cells of blood taken from people with HIV. "There is prior knowledge of the flu vaccine, for example, waking up HIV and exposing it to the immune system; but it has been unclear whether that was only happening in flu-specific T cells, a known place where HIV hides," said Dr. Brad Jones, senior author of a study published in Nature back in 2022.

The study found that the worst offender is Pfizer and BioNTech's double-dose mRNA shot, which produced a greater release of HIV RNA than other COVID jabs.

After analyzing the blood of HIV-positive individuals both before and after getting jabbed for COVID, the researchers learned that killer CD8+ T cells that target cells marked by an early gene product of HIV called Nef had released protein granzyme B, a marker, of sorts, that is linked to CD8+ T cells trying to kill HIV. "This response, observed after the first shot, was correlated with a subsequent reduction in HIV RNA - suggesting some elimination of infected cells by the boosted CD8+ T cells," Weill Cornell Medicine reported.

Driver's Licenses Waive Personal Responsibility And Contribute To Disorder On The Road

What these wished-for restrictions really mean is that government bureaucrats and politicians should decide who is fit to drive.

We were driving in a rural area-a sensible place for an elderly person to drive, in many ways.

What my sympathetic listeners don't see is that rather than curbing bad driving, government licensing requirements can actually encourage it.

Nor, for that matter, will many people think twice about driving anything anywhere in any road conditions once they have that holographed piece of plastic proclaiming that they can drive, even if they barely passed the minimal proficiency tests some states require.

In some European countries, passing the driving test in an automatic vehicle means your license does not extend to manual vehicles.

Rental car companies won't rent to drivers under twenty-five even if they're licensed by the government, an extra requirement they use to protect their fleet, and one that is sensible albeit somewhat arbitrary and discriminatory.

Government licensing requirements bar many people from the road unfairly, regardless of their individual circumstances, and keep people's own sense and accountability to others from creating order on the road. Government licensing restrictions on driving are not only tyrannical but also create disorder by partially nullifying our responsibility to gauge our own and others' ability with motor vehicles.

These Are The Students Biden Wants You To Bail Out

It's not entirely coincidental that just weeks after President Joe Biden announced his latest plan to cancel student loan debt, antisemitic protests broke out on elite college campuses across the country.

Students at some 18 colleges have staged anti-Israel "Encampment" protests.

At Columbia University, the protests got so out of hand and so virulently antisemitic that a rabbi at Columbia urged Jewish students to "Return home as soon as possible" and the university moved to mostly hybrid classes.

Protesters have been heard shouting antisemitic slogans, namely "Intifada" and "f-k Israel," wearing keffiyehs and COVID masks, and carrying signs to "Honor The Martyrs Of Palestine" and express the solidarity of "Trans people for Palestine." It's these students who will, as soon as they graduate with their mostly useless four-year degrees in anthropology or peace studies or gender queer theory, start demanding that taxpayers cover the costs of their massive student loans.

Then Biden vastly expanded the income-based repayment plans so that most students would end up having to pay off only a tiny fraction of their loans, which could cost taxpayers as much as $558 billion over the next decade.

Now he's announced a new plan to cancel $84 billion in student loan debt.

The result has been to fuel tuition inflation and create an army of undereducated, over-coddled miscreants who are using your money to intimidate and harass Jewish students, disrupt the education of all students, and who will go on to worm their way into leadership positions in businesses, government and institutions.

Today, America First Legal's lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services unearthed new documents regarding a radical presentation and plan distributed internally by Assistant Secretary of Health "Rachel" Levine on "Measuring Sex, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation." These records reveal that the Biden Administration is trying to radically change governmental data and statistics on sex in the name of "Gender identity."

In an email from April 27, 2022, Assistant Secretary Levine sent an email to the "LGBTQI+ Coordinating Committee Members" with a presentation from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on "Measuring Sex, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation."

The presentation is notably paid for by taxpayer dollars and funded by 19 entities within NIH including the "Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office" and the "Office of the Director, Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion."

In the introduction slide, the presentation asserts that "Better measurements of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation will also improve the ability to identify sexual and gender minority populations and understand the challenges they face."

Ultimately, the report comes to the conclusion that "a person's gender is associated with but cannot be reduced to either sex assigned at birth or specific sex traits. Therefore, data collection efforts should not conflate sex as a biological variable with gender or otherwise treat the respective concepts as interchangeable."

A recommendation is presented that "The standard for the National Institutes of Health should be to collect data on gender and report it by default." Effectively, Assistant Secretary Levine has indicated "Full support" for disregarding biological sex at the NIH. In another slide, the panel provides a recommendation that the NIH should differentiate questions between sex on one's birth certificate and "Current gender."

The Biden administration is working every day is destroy fundamental truth, i.e. biological sex, and force the American people to adopt their radical "Gender identity" ideology.

ATF Rule Change Creates A Trap For The Unwary

On Friday, the 31st anniversary of the massacre of Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, the ATF issued new regulations that make it more difficult to comply with federal laws regulating gun dealing and background checks.

The new rule is the latest salvo in the ATF's longstanding war on gun shows and private transfers.

Now, with a Democrat again at the helm, the ATF wants to further limit private sales with the threat of criminal punishment by expanding the definition of gun dealing while leaving it vague enough to dissuade private sales.

Gun shows are particularly popular because guns tend to hold their value well, and lots of people collect guns.

Gun shows allow ordinary people to sell guns to other collectors and enthusiasts, whether they are dealers or not.

Background checks are not particularly scary because most gun owners have been through many background checks when buying guns from FFLs or obtaining concealed weapons permits.

Like most gun control laws, reducing crime appears to be a secondary goal of the latest ATF move.

Explosive Unsealed Court Docs Expose Secret Emails Between NARA, Biden White House, DOJ in Trump Classified Documents Case

Newly unsealed court filings on Monday in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case reveal emails exchanged between officials from the National Archives and Records Administration, the Biden White House, and the Department of Justice regarding former President Donald Trump's presidential records.

The newly unsealed filings also disclosed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation referred to its investigation into President Trump's presidential records under the code name "[Redacted] Plasmic Echo." A key exhibit included with a motion to compel filed in January was an FBI case file labeled "[Redacted] PLASMIC ECHO; Mishandling of Classified or National Defense Information.

Last year, President Trump entered a not guilty plea to 40 counts concerning the alleged mishandling of classified documents.

The defense contends that the newly revealed emails, made public on Monday, show communication between NARA officials, the Biden administration, and the DOJ concerning President Trump's records.

One email from NARA's general counsel to the national archivist discussed drafting a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland concerning "Missing Trump records." Subsequent emails revealed coordination between NARA and the Biden White House counsel's office regarding the handling of these records.

The defense alleged that Mr. Su didn't disclose to a Trump representative that NARA had already drafted a DOJ referral letter when contacting them to discuss access to notes "From the Trump administration relating to records handling." The unsealed emails also show that NARA took into consideration the Democrat-led January 6 Committee's investigation when considering the timing of reporting to Congress on their issues of getting access to President Trump's posts on Twitter.

Mr. Stern adds that the Biden White House counsel "Is now also aware of this issue, and has asked that I keep them in the loop to the extent that we make any reference to the White House Office of Records Management." Another email shows Mr. Ferriero saying that he had run "Out of patience" amid back-and-forth communications with Trump representatives regarding "Missing boxes" that, according to a draft email to the attorney general, were reported as having been "Possibly destroyed."

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel charged 16 Republicans last year with forgery and conspiracy to commit election forgery for allegedly attempting to replace Michigan's electoral votes for Joe Biden with electoral votes for Trump at the certification of the vote on Jan. 6, 2021.

During Wednesday's hearing, which was part of preliminary examinations for the so-called fake electors, Howard Shock, a special agent for the attorney general's office, also testified that former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis is also an unindicted co-conspirator.

Shock's revelation was in response to questions from Duane Silverthorn, an attorney for Michele Lundgren, one of the so-called fake electors.

Romney And The Wrong Question: The Senator's Statement On Trump's Guilt Captures The Problem With The Manhattan Trial

Yesterday, Sen. Mitt Romney had a much covered interaction with CNN's Manu Raju who asked him about Trump's criminal trial and whether he was guilty of the underlying criminal conduct.

Romney responded "I think everybody has made their own assessment of President Trump's character, and so far as I know you don't pay someone $130,000 not to have sex with you." I have previously defended Romney in his votes on impeachment despite our disagreement on the constitutional standard.

His response is precisely what Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is seeking from the jury: a verdict on Trump as a person rather than the underlying criminal allegations.

Rather than address the ambiguous criminal allegation, Romney suggested that Trump was guilty as charged in having a tryst with a former porn star.

Smart and savvy, he still viewed the question of the trial as whether Trump had an affair with Stormy Daniels.

It is the crime not the character of Trump that is at issue in Manhattan.

To be fair, Romney was not giving a full interview on the case in his statement to CNN and may well have some reservations about the Bragg indictment.

Supreme Court Should Shut Down Joe Biden's Attempt To Force ERs To Do Abortions

 Tomorrow, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Moyle v. United States and Idaho v. United States, two consolidated cases questioning whether the 1986 Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act supersedes Idaho's near-total abortion ban and can force physicians to perform abortions in emergency situations.

Soon after Roe's overturning, the Biden administration sued the State of Idaho arguing EMTALA trumps the state's abortion law and requires doctors to perform abortions under a broader set of exceptions than just to preserve the life of the mother.

The full Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed and quickly reversed that ruling forcing the State and Idaho Speaker of the House Mike Moyle to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

While the Biden administration argues that the HHS "Guidance" is just clarifying existing federal law, the Idaho legislature and state officials called the disputed HHS guidance an "Unauthorized power grab" and stated it would have been "Odd" for Congress to negate "State abortion laws" in a provision that "Does not even mention abortion."

In January 2024, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the Biden administration cannot use EMTALA to override Texas' near-total abortion ban and force Texas doctors to perform abortions.

"The question before the Court is whether EMTALA, according to HHS's Guidance, mandates physicians to provide abortions when that is the necessary stabilizing treatment for an emergency medical condition. It does not," wrote Judge Engelhardt.

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, "The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act does not preempt state abortion laws, nor does it require the killing of an innocent life. Emergency rooms are only required to stabilize patients, which includes the unborn patient. This so-called 'guidance' by the Secretary of Health and Human Services is another lawless act of the Biden administration that will be struck down."

Wray: We're Not Monitoring Campus Protests, 'We Don't Monitor Protests' We Do Share Intel. About Threats

During a portion of an interview with NBC News that was aired on Tuesday's "NBC Nightly News," FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that the agency isn't monitoring the protests on college campuses because they "Don't monitor protests" as a general rule, "But we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence with campuses, with state and local law enforcement," and "When violence ensues, that's when we get concerned, when you have threats of violence."

Host Lester Holt asked, "There's an environment right now we're seeing play out on some college campuses, the protests over what's happening in Gaza. Are you watching that warily, are you concerned about threats emanating from these demonstrations?".

Wray responded, "Well, of course, demonstrations themselves are not something that we the FBI get involved in, but when violence ensues, that's when we get concerned, when you have threats of violence. And so, we have seen, even before October 7, we saw a significant increase, especially in antisemitic threats and antisemitic violence. And since October 7, that number has gone up quite substantially."

"Are you actively monitoring these protests?".

Wray answered, "We don't monitor protests, but we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence with campuses, with state and local law enforcement, but we don't monitor protests."

In another part of the interview, Wray said, "So, we thought that even before October 7, if you and I were having this conversation then, we would have said that the terrorism threat was already elevated. But post-October 7, it's gone to a whole [other] level."
