Biden leaves as much destruction in his wake as possible.

Inauguration Day 2025 marked a significant change for America, signaling a return to greatness as Donald J. Trump took back the White House. This day also represented the end of what many view as a troubling period under President Joe Biden, who, in his final moments in office, is accused of hastily causing damage as he exited. Just before leaving, Biden controversially pardoned five family members to shield them from potential consequences under Trump's administration, raising questions about the Democrats' long-standing claims that no one is above the law.

Biden's excuses for these pardons were seen as hypocritical, given that it has been the Democrats targeting their opponents, especially Trump, with relentless investigations. His remarks suggested that he was a victim of harsh political attacks, despite his party having engaged in similar tactics against their rivals. This kind of political attack can harm individuals’ reputations and safety, which is a tactic Democrats have used against Trump and his supporters.

In addition to pardoning his family, Biden also granted clemency to several others, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and members of the House committee that pursued the January 6 protesters. Biden claimed these pardons did not imply any wrongdoing, contradicting prior statements made to the January 6 defendants, which suggested accepting a pardon would imply guilt.

Biden’s actions also included commutations for a range of prisoners and the pardoning of controversial figures, demonstrating a pattern of political maneuvering. Trump criticized these pardons, suggesting they were for people guilty of serious crimes.

Biden’s administration took several significant policy actions, including lifting Cuba’s designation as a terrorism sponsor and providing military aid to Ukraine, as well as extensive student loan forgiveness and protections for illegal immigrants. Trump responded by stating he would quickly reverse these orders.

The actions taken by Biden were characterized as destructive, setting a troubling precedent for presidential powers and reflecting a self-serving leadership style. In contrast, Trump emphasized a new era of American renewal, signaling that the period of decline was over.
