A new report from the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight reveals that the FBI stopped searching for the January 6 pipe bomber in 2021 and covered up evidence. The FBI is now not cooperating with Congressional investigators.
Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino mentioned that a whistleblower claimed that after pipe bombs were discovered at the RNC and DNC headquarters, law enforcement was told to stop looking for the suspect just two days later. This contradicts what FBI Director Christopher Wray has previously indicated.
Nearly four years after the incident, federal law enforcement has not identified the person who planted the bombs. Although the FBI initially took significant steps, such as issuing search warrants and reviewing security footage, they have not updated Congress on the investigation's status. There are also conflicting reports regarding whether the FBI received "corrupted" cellular data from major carriers, which might have contained the bomber's identity.
The identity of the person who planted the pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters remains unknown. The US Capitol was shut down on January 6 when the bombs were found nearby, raising questions about who actually planted them. Recent video footage suggests a police officer was seen carrying a bag to the DNC bomb site just before it was discovered.
Additionally, none of the Secret Service agents noticed the bomb during a sweep before Kamala Harris's arrival, and a bomb-sniffing dog had also failed to detect it earlier that morning. There are concerns that the bomb was planted by a police officer shortly before its discovery.
Darren Beattie from Revolver News discussed how unfazed law enforcement appeared when notified about the bomb's proximity to Kamala Harris. He noted that new footage suggests the FBI's surveillance might be fake and indicates that the bombs were actually placed on January 6, aligning with events at the Capitol. Furthermore, the FBI is withholding critical surveillance footage of the bomber.
