Donald Trump is officially back in the White House conducting business and he needs his Cabinet to help get work done. Two of the most urgent confirmation hearings coming up are Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense and Russell Vought for Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The left has launched a campaign named “Nix the Noms” where they flood Senator’s offices with calls telling them not to confirm President Trump’s nominees.
We knew it wouldn’t take long for the left to try and derail the president’s plans, which is why he needs your help. It’s time to get involved and call your senators, regardless of party affiliation, and tell them to confirm Pete Hegseth and Russell Vought, because that’s what America voted for. Soon, the Senate will also vote to confirm Kristi Noem, Director of DNI, and John Ratcliffe, Director of the CIA, but right now the left is coming out hard against Hegseth and Vought.
Pete Hegseth
Pete Hegseth’s hearings have wrapped up, and the Senate is likely to vote on his nomination soon, but they are pulling out their Brett Kavanaugh play against Hegseth. They’re using a far-left ex-sister-in-law to make crazy accusations and will try to use the accusations to convince the wobbly GOP senators to vote against him. That’s why it is REALLY important to email and call in support of Hegseth as soon as possible, even if you’ve already emailed and called. Russell Vought
Russell Vought served as the Director of OMB in Trump’s last administration. He is scheduled for a hearing with the Senate Budget Committee tomorrow (January 22nd) and the left is determined to block him. Vought served as deputy director of OMB starting in 2018 before appointed as acting director to his confirmation as director in July 2020.
