President Trump Plans for 25% Border Security Tariffs on Mexico and Canada Remain Set to Begin Saturday

President Trump announced plans to implement 25 percent tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico starting Saturday, January 31, 2025. These tariffs are seen as part of a dual approach: the long-term MARCRO tariffs focused on economic fairness and the more urgent border security tariffs aimed primarily at national security and combating fentanyl distribution. The media has reacted strongly to this announcement, but Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnik has explained the reasons behind the urgency of these measures. Trump explained that the tariffs are necessary due to illegal migration, drug issues, and trade deficits with these countries. While he mentioned that these tariffs could increase over time, he was ambiguous about whether they would include Canadian oil imports.

Additionally, Trump hinted at potential actions regarding China due to their involvement in fentanyl distribution but did not provide specifics on upcoming tariffs. The announcement comes amid negotiations with Canada and Mexico, where officials are trying to convince the Trump administration to enhance border security to avoid tariffs. Both countries have warned that they would retaliate if the tariffs are imposed.

There are opinions within the community that favor even higher tariffs, suggesting 100 percent tariffs on all imported goods. Advocates argue that such measures would bring back manufacturing jobs in the U. S. and change the current economic situation. They believe that previous data from 2017 to 2020 showed that targeted tariffs did not raise prices for consumers, and recent sanctions on Russia have provided further justification for implementing strict tariffs. They argue that these tariffs could redirect wealth back to the American middle class and support reindustrialization.

Several comments reflect on historical perspectives regarding the fentanyl trade and relationships between nations, mainly focusing on the past interactions between the U. S. , Britain, and China. Some commenters draw parallels between historical events and current policies, suggesting people educate themselves on history and the real nature of international friendships. Debates regarding U. S. foreign policy, military interventions, and historical relationships with countries like Russia and China are also part of the conversation, with varying opinions on the complexities of those relationships.

Discussions extend into criticisms of how history is taught in schools and how propaganda shapes public perception about nations and their actions over time. Various commenters argue about the motives of countries such as China regarding their trade practices and position in global economics.

Overall, the dialogue conveys a mixture of support for Trump's tariffs and broader discussions about historical context, international relations, and the implications of U. S. policymaking on its foreign partners. There are repeated calls for individuals to question mainstream narratives and understand the deeper historical roots of America’s current political landscape.

Ex-Obama policy adviser sentenced to prison for flying to UK to rape a child

A former senior adviser in the Obama administration, Rahamim Shy, was sentenced to over 11 years in prison for planning to rape a 9-year-old girl in the UK. Shy had spent over a month plotting this crime and traveled from New York to Bedfordshire in February 2024 with the intention of meeting the child. He brought items like “cuddly toys and condoms” and had explicit conversations detailing the acts he intended to commit against her.

Prosecutor Lorraine Telford described Shy as a predator, emphasizing his preparedness to exploit a vulnerable child for his own sexual gratification. He believed he was communicating with the girl's supposed grandmother on an online forum, where he showed a disturbing level of intent regarding the abuse he planned. Unbeknownst to him, the girl was fictitious, and the grandmother was an undercover police officer.

Upon arriving in the UK, Shy was arrested at Gatwick Airport after it was revealed that the person he thought he was communicating with was actually police. Law enforcement found “indecent images of children” and messages on his phone indicating his interest in molesting children.

Shy's defense argued that he should not be prosecuted since he was in the US at the time of planning the crime. However, the Luton Crown Court dismissed this claim. The court noted that the non-existence of the child did not change the nature of Shy's intentions, highlighting the effectiveness of the police operation.

In addition to his role in the Treasury Department, Shy previously provided strategic policy analysis to the Joint Chiefs of Staff and was deployed to Afghanistan under Hillary Clinton’s leadership. His conviction ensures he will no longer pose a threat to children.

Blackburn, Durbin Spar over Release of Jeffrey Epstein Files

During a confirmation hearing for Kash Patel, nominated to lead the FBI, a debate arose between Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) regarding the release of Jeffrey Epstein's files. Blackburn accused Democrats of trying to block the release of a list of Epstein's associates involved in sex trafficking. She asked Patel if he would release the files, to which he responded affirmatively.

Blackburn claimed that Durbin and former FBI Director Christopher Wray were obstructing inquiries related to Epstein. In response, Durbin defended himself, stating that he has advocated for sex trafficking victims and denied accusations by Patel that he worked to prevent the file's release. He also claimed that Blackburn had not previously discussed Epstein's flight logs with him.

Blackburn countered, asserting that Durbin had silenced her when he was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and did not allow her to speak on the matter. In his defense, Durbin stated that he limited discussion time due to a procedural rule.

FBI Is Still Stalling and Refuses to Turn Over the Seth Rich Records – The Information Could Take Down Democrat Party for a Generation

The FBI is delaying the release of records related to Seth Rich, according to Attorney Ty Clevenger, who has been trying for years to uncover details about Rich's unsolved murder. Clevenger's requests for information from the FBI have been repeatedly denied. In September 2023, a judge ordered the FBI to provide information about Rich, who was a DNC staff member killed in 2016 shortly before Wikileaks published emails from the Clinton campaign. The FBI initially claimed it held no related information, but later asked for an extended timeline of 66 years to release what it has, hinting at a long delay similar to that of the JFK assassination files.

In November 2023, another Federal Judge directed the FBI to share evidence about Rich’s murder with Clevenger. The Gateway Pundit is noted as the primary media outlet covering the Seth Rich case, highlighting the ongoing tension between Clevenger and the FBI, particularly under Director Chris Wray. Clevenger recently shared updates on social media about the FBI's continued refusal to release Rich’s laptop and other electronic records, despite a judge's order for them to do so by February 2025.

Clevenger expressed frustration over multiple delays and lack of communication from the FBI. He mentioned that the bureau has asked for more time once again, which he sees as another tactic to prevent transparency. The information could potentially shed light on whether Rich leaked emails to Wikileaks, which has significant implications for the narrative surrounding the 2016 election and the allegations of Russian involvement.

Clevenger argues that the truth about Seth Rich’s case is essential for the American public, suggesting that the investigation may reveal a cover-up regarding the real source of the emails that implicated the DNC. The urgency for a new FBI Director, Kash Patel, to be confirmed is emphasized, as he might hold the key to uncovering the facts surrounding this politically charged issue.

Clevenger questions whether the FBI blamed Russia for the email leaks knowing the truth, which further complicates the narrative around Rich's death. The text highlights a call for transparency and accountability from the FBI in a case that remains heavy with political implications.

Six Out Of Seven Executive Assistant Directors and 25 Special Agents in Charge Out at FBI According to FBI Whistleblower

While Kash Patel was undergoing his confirmation hearing as the new FBI Director, significant changes were happening within the FBI. Reports indicate that at least six high-level FBI officials were removed or asked to resign. This follows recent dismissals at other agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In total, a dozen employees at the DOJ were fired, focusing mainly on those who were involved in politically charged cases against President Trump. The NLRB also saw dismissals, including key officials appointed by the current administration. The EEOC faced its first firings by a president since its creation, leaving the agency without a quorum.

FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin revealed that the shake-up extended beyond just the high-level executives; it also involved 25 Special Agents in Charge, who oversee the agency's field offices across the nation. Each of the FBI's 56 field offices is managed by a Special Agent in Charge. One of the agents affected was Spencer Evans, who led the Las Vegas office and was involved in a high-profile case concerning a Green Beret's suspicious death. Evans also denied Seraphin a religious exemption from the COVID vaccine, which contributed to Seraphin's suspension.

Seraphin highlighted the firings of a group of former agents labeled as "The Suspendables," including agents Steve Friend and Garrett O’Boyle, who were suspended after whistleblowing incidents related to the FBI's actions against pro-life individuals and the agency's handling of domestic terrorism statistics. There are concerns among former officials about potential partisan politics emerging within the agency, which traditionally had limited political appointments.

Seraphin also suggested that Kash Patel could potentially be well-received by FBI employees. He indicated that Patel might become a director who genuinely represents the interests of the agents, contrasting with former director James Comey. While Patel was highlighted as a key figure in the agency's future, Brian Driscoll was acknowledged as the acting director, who has experience in high-level positions within the FBI.

In conclusion, the FBI is undergoing significant leadership changes, coinciding with the confirmation of a new director, amidst broader staffing changes across various government agencies. The situation has sparked conversations about the impact of these changes on the agency's integrity and the potential introduction of partisanship within its ranks.

Tulsi Gabbard Drops Truth Bomb on Deep State Corruption — Exposes 51 Intel Officials, Hillary Clinton, and the Democrat Party in Scorching Opening Statement

Tulsi Gabbard targeted the corruption within the intelligence community during her confirmation hearing for Director of National Intelligence. She criticized 51 intelligence officials, Hillary Clinton, and the Democrat Party for misusing intelligence agencies for political purposes. Gabbard highlighted significant failures that have harmed national security, such as the invasion of Iraq, which was based on false information and led to massive casualties and instability in the region.

Gabbard pointed out the consequences of political interference in intelligence, noting how it falsely portrayed Donald Trump as working with Russia and undermined his presidency. She claimed that the FBI and intelligence agencies were weaponized against Trump, particularly referencing the Steele dossier funded by Clinton's campaign, which was used to illegally obtain warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign advisor.

Additionally, Gabbard criticized 51 former intelligence officials who dismissed Hunter Biden's laptop as false information to help Biden win the 2020 election. She accused Tony Blinken, a Biden campaign operative, of orchestrating the disinformation campaign. Gabbard condemned former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper for lying about surveillance programs and criticized ex-CIA chief John Brennan for spying on Congress without facing consequences.

She revealed alarming practices under the Biden administration, such as the FBI targeting Catholics attending traditional Latin mass, labeling them as extremists. After speaking out against Kamala Harris’s nomination, she was placed on a secret domestic terror watchlist. Gabbard asserted that political opponents would use fear and lies to discredit her, mirroring tactics used against Trump.

She also condemned the religious bigotry Congress faced and noted that no religious test should be required for public office, as stated in the Constitution. Gabbard invited those interested in her Hindu faith to learn more through her social media. Her opening statement was strong and direct, aiming to expose deep state corruption and defend her integrity against accusations of being a puppet of multiple figures.

Why We Need DOGE – 5 Crazy Examples Of How The Government Has Been Wasting Your Tax Dollars

The U. S. government has been criticized for wasting taxpayer money in unusual ways, particularly as the national debt continues to rise. This article outlines five notable instances of government spending that many consider improper or unnecessary.

1. Spending on Contraceptives in Afghanistan:

The Biden administration allocated $15 million to distribute oral contraceptives and condoms in Afghanistan as part of a larger $100 million initiative aimed at supporting women and girls under Taliban rule.

2. Condoms for Palestinians:

The administration nearly sent $50 million for condoms to Gaza, with critics labeling this a "preposterous waste of taxpayer money. "

3. Climate Change Drag Show:

A grant of $10,000 was used for an "ice skating drag show" themed around climate change, organized by a queer cabaret arts group. This expenditure was included in a broader yearly spending report of over $1 trillion for the Biden-Harris administration.

4. Sesame Street Spin-off in Iraq:

The Agency for International Development (USAID) spent $20 million on a Sesame Street spin-off called "Ahlan Simsim," intended to promote inclusion and mutual respect in Iraq.

5. Motion Sickness Research on Kittens:

A shocking $1. 5 million was allocated for research on how various animal species respond to motion sickness. In some experiments, young kittens were strapped down and subjected to harmful procedures, which raised ethical concerns about animal welfare.

The article emphasizes these examples to illustrate the extent of government waste, stirring discussions on the necessity of reform.

The author expresses a sense of urgency for significant reductions in government spending and suggests needing greater budget oversight, concluding that the ongoing efforts by entities like the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are a positive step in addressing waste.

The article urges readers to consider the importance of tackling this issue while mentioning the political climate and the pressures faced by the administration in managing these changes. The author also promotes their new book and newsletter, inviting further engagement on related topics.

Team Trump Is Winning The Media Battle By Treating Left-Wing Press As The Propagandists They Are

The Trump administration is effectively handling difficult media questions because they see journalists as aligned with the Democratic party. This perspective was highlighted during an interaction between CBS News' Margaret Brennan and Vice President J. D. Vance. Brennan attempted to question Vance about a terrorist attack linked to an Afghan man who entered the U. S. under the Biden administration, but Vance dismissed the relevance of whether the man was radicalized before entry, stating that most Americans simply do not want such individuals in the country.

Historically, Republicans have felt pressured to justify their positions to what they considered unbiased journalists. However, the administration now recognizes that many media figures are more interested in serving political agendas than in asking genuine questions. This understanding allows them to address the media's framing of issues more confrontationally.

In her first press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded firmly to a reporter's question about immigration policy, reminding that entering the country illegally is a crime in itself. Leavitt's stance demonstrates a shift in the administration's approach, where the burden of explanation is not on them.

Similarly, CNN's Jake Tapper questioned Stephen Miller about illegal immigration's impact on grocery prices, implying that maintaining low prices requires accepting illegal immigration. Miller countered this assertion, stating that the majority of illegal alien workers do not work in agriculture and outlining how Trump's policies would benefit both consumers and farmers.

The Trump team's approach to media questions mirrors a political debate rather than a simple Q&A. They see journalists as conduits for Democratic propaganda, allowing them to argue their point more aggressively and change the dynamics of press interactions. Overall, those in the Trump administration are equipped to effectively manage the media narrative by recognizing its political motivations.

Republicans from local to federal levels focus on election integrity as new terms, sessions begin

Republicans are making election integrity a key focus as new legislative sessions start. They aim to make sure only U. S. citizens can vote in federal elections and to prohibit private funding of these elections. Republican governments at state and local levels are also working to ban ranked-choice voting and improve voter roll accuracy.

On Inauguration Day, President Donald Trump canceled several executive orders from the Biden administration, including one known as “Bidenbucks. ” This executive order allowed federal agencies to promote voter registration with help from non-partisan organizations, but reports indicated a lack of transparency in its implementation. As a result, House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil has subpoenaed several Biden cabinet officials for their plans concerning this order.

The Biden administration had cooperated with left-leaning organizations to put “Bidenbucks” into effect, which led to lawsuits from Republican attorneys general arguing that it violated the Constitution. Some of these lawsuits have since been dropped.

Steil has outlined plans for congressional Republicans to pass new election integrity laws. With Republicans in control of Congress and the White House, he highlighted two main pieces of legislation: the SAVE Act, which restricts elections to U. S. citizens, and the ACE Act, aimed at ensuring election integrity and preventing foreign money from influencing U. S. elections.

Many states are also pursuing election integrity laws, with some aiming to ban ranked-choice voting. This voting method requires a candidate to gain over 50% of votes to win, or else triggers a runoff process. Several states have already passed bans on this approach, including Iowa and Texas.

In Ohio, lawmakers enacted a law banning foreign donations to ballot measure campaigns, alongside efforts from Kansas, Missouri, and Montana to create similar bans. This move is partially in response to donations from foreign nationals that were suspected to influence U. S. politics.

Additionally, Oklahoma and Maricopa County, Arizona, are working on cleaning up their voter registration lists. Oklahoma removed over 129,000 inactive registrations, while Maricopa County eliminated more than 242,000 inactive voters from its rolls.

Overall, as the political landscape develops, Republicans are focused on establishing stricter election integrity measures to address their concerns about the voting process and potential outside influence.

Catholic Organizations and Open Borders

Last week, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde from the Episcopal Diocese of Washington faced criticism for bringing politics into her sermon during a prayer meeting with President Trump and Vice President Pence. She urged the president to show mercy towards gay, lesbian, transgender children, and illegal aliens. Many people were upset by her reference to transgender children, believing they are coerced instead of naturally existing. Critics accused her of ignoring the protection of vulnerable children and siding with those they viewed as harmful.

Following this incident, more religious organizations, especially from Catholic groups, engaged in political advocacy. Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee posted a video instructing illegal aliens on how to navigate encounters with U. S. immigration enforcement. An immigration attorney in the video advised illegal immigrants to stay calm and not to panic. She provided various guidelines on how to respond if questioned by authorities, including refusing to show identification and declining to answer questions without an attorney.

This isn't a standalone action, as Catholic Charities USA has consistently received significant federal funding. Past audits showed the organization receiving nearly $2 million in federal grants in 2021 and local affiliates pulling in about $2. 9 billion annually in government funds in 2010. Their official website promotes services related to immigration, like DACA applications and deportation defense.

The U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has also criticized President Trump's immigration policies, claiming they negatively impact vulnerable individuals. The USCCB president emphasized the harmful effects of specific executive orders on immigrants and refugees. Other bishops have stated that human dignity is not contingent on a person's immigration status.

The involvement of these religious organizations raises concerns about their understanding of the implications of illegal immigration. Critics argue that the burden of illegal aliens is often placed on poor or working-class communities, leading to resource strain and economic challenges. This influx can lead to job losses and cultural shifts, particularly in neighborhoods overwhelmed by non-citizens.

Open borders also increase risks associated with human trafficking and drug smuggling. However, many religious organizations focus on portraying illegal immigrants as victims needing help while not adequately considering the challenges faced by citizens in affected communities. They seem to call for leniency in immigration laws, risking creating chaos if exceptions are made.

Additionally, these Catholic organizations have been criticized for not addressing issues such as the protection of young victims from abuse within their ranks. It's important to note that Pope Francis recently condemned deportation efforts by the Trump administration, labeling them as disgraceful, yet the Vatican itself is heavily secured and restricts entry.

This overall situation highlights a disconnect between these organizations' advocacy for open borders and their failure to practice what they preach. It raises questions about their fidelity to core religious values and the way they use taxpayer money while promoting policies potentially harmful to citizens. Some believe that the Trump administration should consider reforming or cutting funding for these organizations.

World’s largest battery storage facility for power from solar panels burns and poisons nature reserve

A fire at the Vistra Moss Landing Power Plant and Energy Storage Facility in Northern California, one of the largest lithium-ion battery storage facilities, has harmed a nearby nature reserve. The facility was created to store energy from solar panels for consumer use. Despite the fire being linked to renewable energy sources, environmental activists who typically oppose nuclear power have not voiced similar concerns about the damage caused by this renewable energy facility.

The fire broke out on January 16, 2025, and was largely extinguished by January 21, 2025. The cause is still under investigation. Scientists from San Jose State University found high levels of toxic heavy metals such as nickel, manganese, and cobalt in the soil near the facility, far exceeding normal levels. Initially, the Environmental Protection Agency and local authorities stated that no toxins were released, but this was later contradicted by ongoing research.

Dr. Ivano Aiello from San José State noted that these toxins are likely new and linked to the fire, as they were found in the top layer of soil. Local residents have reported health issues like headaches and nausea, leading to the formation of a Facebook group with nearly 3,000 members who are sharing concerns.

The affected area is the Elkhorn Slough, an important ecosystem, and the rise in heavy metal levels poses a serious risk to wildlife and the environment. The incident has not garnered significant national attention, partly because it involved solar energy storage; critics argue that the same individuals who oppose nuclear power for environmental reasons are silent on the potential harms of battery storage.

The Exposé encourages readers to support their efforts to report news that mainstream media may overlook. They highlight that government and big tech companies are attempting to suppress their reporting. The site stresses the need for donations to continue providing what they consider truthful journalism.

They seek support through donations, claiming that they are not funded by the government and can only operate through reader contributions. Recent posts on their site include topics such as the effects of benzodiazepine drugs, bills in the Italian Senate regarding WHO membership, and commentary on climate change.

Soros-owned radio station doxes ICE agents hunting for violent gang criminals

A radio station owned by George Soros has reportedly identified and exposed federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers involved in tracking down criminals in San Jose, California, which is known for its violent gangs. This action, referred to as doxing, could enable suspects to avoid capture or even harm the officers involved. A report mentions that the station broadcast live details of three unmarked vehicles used by ICE, revealing their descriptions and locations during an ongoing operation against violent foreign nationals.

The situation took place on January 26, when a radio host mistakenly provided information about the undercover vehicles based on social media posts from a group that opposes deportation of illegal immigrants. The station's reporting was confirmed by San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and local council member Peter Ortiz, who acknowledged the presence of ICE agents in that part of town. The rapid response network, which assists immigrant communities, was the initial source of information about the ICE activities.

This incident occurs as federal authorities, under the direction of President Trump, carry out mass deportation efforts focused on illegal immigrants accused of serious crimes. Soros recently became the majority owner of Audacity, Inc. , the parent company of the radio station in question. His foundation promotes support for migrants and asylum seekers through various initiatives.

Trump’s Big Stick Strategy Will Make America Respected Again

Colombia's socialist president, Gustavo Petro, agreed to accept American deportation flights carrying Colombian nationals after facing tariff threats from President Donald Trump. The relationship between the U. S. and Colombia has faced challenges, especially during the Biden administration, which allowed migrants from South and Central America, including criminals, to enter the U. S. without strict background checks. This lenient approach has resulted in violent crime in America related to migrant gangs, and now, with Trump in office, deportation efforts are increasing.

Petro initially resisted Trump's plans by stating that Colombia is open to the world and that Colombian migrants should not be treated as criminals. Trump responded by threatening a 25% tariff on all Colombian goods, which would increase to 50% in a week if no agreement was reached. Petro countered with a 25% tax on American goods, insisting that Trump’s threats wouldn’t intimidate him, but within 24 hours, he agreed to the deportation flights, saying that Colombia would ensure dignified returns for its citizens.

Trump's tariff threat proved effective, and Petro quickly complied, even offering to use his presidential plane to assist with the deportations. This situation illustrated Trump's effective diplomatic strategy, showing that protectionist measures can yield results without the need for actual tariffs if countries respect U. S. foreign policy. The potential for tariffs reestablishes American strength on the world stage after years of perceived weakness under the previous administration.

Tariffs serve as a powerful signal to both allies and opponents about the seriousness of U. S. policies. Countries must cooperate on matters like repatriating their citizens to maintain fair trade relations with the U. S. This approach could inspire other nations, like China, which has started taking back illegal immigrants in response to potential tariffs. The renewed focus on protectionism aims to ensure that foreign nations contribute fairly to the costs associated with U. S. support, while emphasizing the importance of respecting American policies.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem halts grant funding to NGOs caught facilitating illegal immigration

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced that all grant funding to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that help illegal immigrants has been stopped. This decision was shared during an interview on Fox News, and it follows accusations that these NGOs misused millions of taxpayer dollars to encourage illegal border crossings into the U. S. Noem expressed her concern about the federal funds being misused, stating that it was unbelievable how much money had been spent to facilitate this situation. She aims to ensure that taxpayer funds are used effectively to maintain security in the country.

Noem's funding halt will be followed by a 90-day review to evaluate how previously allocated funds were used by these organizations. She emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in how taxpayer dollars are handled, asserting that the public has a right to know how grants are utilized. The halt in funding echoes previous reports indicating that NGOs used federal funds to transport illegal immigrants and that the Biden administration's DHS had not properly monitored these disbursements, which critics claim allowed NGOs to take advantage of their status and encourage illegal crossings.

Texas Congressman Lance Gooden commented on the issue, opposing funding for NGOs that assist illegal migrants. He stated that these organizations misuse their humanitarian role to foster illegal immigration by receiving taxpayer money to provide services for illegal immigrants. He underscored that this behavior undermines those who have legally immigrated to the U. S. and creates risks by enabling illegal border crossings.

Noem's decision indicates a significant change in how illegal immigration will be addressed. By cutting off funds to NGOs that facilitate crossings, she is aligning with President Trump's priorities on border security and deportation. The planned review is expected to bring to light how federal funds may have been misused and will aim to pave the way for more accountable government spending. Noem's action signals a clear intention to ensure that taxpayer dollars are directed towards protecting the country.

John Brennan’s Protests to President Trump Lifting his Security Clearances are Absurd

Former CIA Director John Brennan is upset after President Trump signed an executive order revoking his security clearances. This decision was made because Brennan was one of 51 former intelligence officials who signed a letter in 2020, falsely stating that a damaging report about Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation. Brennan claimed on MSNBC that the president misrepresented this letter and insisted he required security clearances to assist the government on national security issues.

The writer argues that Brennan's objections are absurd and supports Trump's decision. The letter was not a genuine warning about Russian interference but aimed to mislead Americans and protect Biden during the election. An investigation revealed that the signers were aware that their statement was intended to shield Biden from political harm related to his family's activities. This means they used their intelligence backgrounds to foster a false narrative during a crucial time in the election.

Brennan also wrongly stated that he kept his security clearances solely in the interest of government discussions. While it’s true that the Biden administration may seek advice from former officers like him, the article states that it is unlikely any Trump administration would do the same. Furthermore, Brennan's retention of security clearances is framed as a means to earn money through contracts and consulting roles in defense and intelligence sectors. The article claims many former intelligence officers, like Brennan, leverage their clearances for lucrative opportunities after leaving government service.

Holding a U. S. government security clearance is presented as a privilege, rather than a right. The article criticizes former intelligence officers who manipulate their positions for personal gain and mislead the public, arguing they threaten democracy and the integrity of the Intelligence Community. It calls for the Trump administration to investigate these practices and only allow limited clearance retention for essential national security reasons.

Brennan and the other signers of the laptop letter are said to have betrayed their country by trying to sway the election results. The article advocates for stripping them of their clearances and banning their access to national security facilities, suggesting that they should be kept far from CIA operations in the future.

Mike Pence’s Evil Alliance with Big Pharma Won’t Stop RFK’s Confirmation

Mike Pence and Big Pharma are collaborating to oppose Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 's nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services. Big Pharma is financially backing a campaign to derail Kennedy's confirmation, using an ad campaign and mobile billboards to express their opposition under the guise of his stance on abortion. Pence, who has a documented anti-abortion history, is now working with Big Pharma despite his previous position against them during his time in the Trump administration.

Pence's current actions are seen as stemming from his opposition to Trump, whom he has publicly criticized. Big Pharma has a history of donating to both political parties to protect their profits. They supported Republican efforts in the early 2000s when Medicare added prescription drug coverage and later brokered a deal during the Obamacare debate to keep their profits safe.

Currently, Big Pharma is partnering with Pence to weaken RFK's position, as Kennedy has openly criticized their practices, including advertising tactics, high drug prices, and regulatory incentives. Kennedy proposes reforms that threaten pharmaceutical profits, which has made him a target for these companies.

Despite Pence's anti-abortion stance, the nomination's relevance to abortion issues is minimal, especially after the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. Pence’s motivations appear self-serving as he aims to oppose RFK to hinder Trump's administration rather than focus on the actual health policies in question.

Kennedy’s reform proposals are viewed as common sense by the public but threaten the pharmaceutical industry's interests. Pence and Big Pharma view opposing RFK's nomination as beneficial for their respective agendas. The public sees through this political maneuvering as mere theater.

With support from principled Senate members, RFK is expected to be confirmed as HHS Secretary, signaling a significant moment for Big Pharma. Pence's political future seems uncertain as he aligns with these interests, raising the possibility of his diminished relevance in the political landscape.

The Alarming Increase in Female Healthcare Worker Suicide

The increasing number of suicides and fatal overdoses among female healthcare workers, alongside rising illness, disability, and departures from the profession, presents a serious issue. The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts a shortage of 10 million healthcare workers by 2030, with a significant portion being women, raising concerns for public health and the overall economy. The health of healthcare providers is critical for the wellbeing of society as a whole. This situation is urgent and requires a focus on human needs and nutrition rather than solely on medical solutions.

Recent studies show that the risk of suicide and fatal drug overdoses among female healthcare workers is much higher than in the general population, with nurses and lower-paid workers being particularly vulnerable. Thousands of healthcare workers have died by suicide or overdose in recent years, leaving their families and workplaces in mourning. The economic impact of such losses is substantial, with one suicide estimated to cost about £1. 46 million in the UK. Underreporting of suicide statistics is common, and understanding effective strategies to address this problem is essential.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, women in healthcare already faced considerable workplace stress. The past few years have exacerbated these issues, especially for those in demanding frontline roles. Factors such as increased care complexity, understaffing, long hours, and lack of decision-making power have contributed to deteriorating mental health. Additionally, women often face obstacles in career growth and bear the brunt of domestic responsibilities. Violence against healthcare workers is prevalent, with a significant percentage experiencing some form of violence during their careers.

Healthcare workers are experiencing emotional trauma and distress, often suppressing their symptoms to meet the demands of their jobs. Long-term understaffing has led to poor nutrition and lack of sleep among workers. Many may misuse prescription medications as a coping mechanism, leading to further health risks. Suicides frequently occur at work, with overdoses often linked to psychiatric drugs. Women disproportionately receive prescriptions for medications like antidepressants and may be more sensitive to their side effects, increasing the risk of overdose.

The combination of drugs, such as antidepressants and opioids, can have dangerous interactions that are not fully understood, particularly for women. The mandated use of medical facemasks and repeated COVID-19 vaccinations has also raised concerns about health risks among healthcare workers. The use of medications like acetaminophen has increased amid the pandemic, presenting risks of overdose and liver injury, especially when combined with other health issues.

Job stress in healthcare settings has led to increased opioid use disorder, putting both workers and patients at risk. Cases of drug theft and diversion of controlled substances in healthcare facilities have risen, further compromising care quality.

The rise in healthcare workers leaving the field signifies a crisis in job satisfaction and working conditions. Many healthcare professionals are no longer willing to endure toxic environments for low pay while facing complex complaints and stress. Without significant changes, the healthcare system may see increased clinical errors and harm to patients.

The time has come for healthcare leaders and organizations to prioritize a healthier work environment that values fair pay and gender equity, leading to improved care quality. A well-supported workforce can better serve patients and themselves. This change is essential for enhancing health outcomes and workplace wellbeing, benefiting society at large.

Trump Dares to Send Criminal Aliens Back to Their New Home, Down by the (Guantanamo) Bay

The discussion centers around the Trump administration's policy of detaining illegal immigrants at Guantanamo Bay. Advocates against this policy argue that it is a harmful move towards the treatment of migrants and struggles over their legal rights.

1. Trump’s Memorandum: President Trump directed the expansion of the Migrant Operations Center at Guantanamo Bay to detain what he termed “the worst criminal illegal aliens” to tackle border issues and restore national sovereignty.

2. Historical Context: Guantanamo has been used in past administrations for detaining refugees, including up to 45,000 Haitians and Cubans in the 1990s, with arrangements for large populations of migrants from the mid-2000s.

3. Conditions at Guantanamo: The Government Accountability Office noted that the living conditions for detainees were considered adequate, meeting international inspection guidelines, with access to food, medical care, and recreational activities.

4. Modern Detention Facilities: Current detention facilities like Karnes City offer amenities like libraries and sports fields, and critics argue that these conditions contrast with the experiences of citizens in schools due to budget cuts.

5. Historic Legislation Influence: The focus on humane treatment in detention has roots in recommendations from the Select Commission on Immigration and Refugee Policy established in 1978, which emphasized civil rights and immigrant welfare.

6. Debate on Detention Seriousness: The concept of detaining migrant populations is contentious, seen by some as extreme. However, historical perspectives and past government actions support the legality and implementation of such measures.

7. Asylum Process and Legal Views: The legal framework, as outlined in the Immigration and Nationality Act, permits asylum applications but restricts certain criminal aliens. The Supreme Court has clarified that protections are limited to actions occurring within U. S. territory and do not extend to Guantanamo.

8. Sovereignty Issues: Guantanamo Bay is not classified as U. S. territory for the purposes of immigration law. Legal precedents indicate that U. S. control does not equate to sovereignty, leaving the jurisdiction ambiguous.

The controversial decision to use Guantanamo Bay for immigrant detention reflects ongoing tensions about immigration policy in the U. S. while raising questions about human rights, the legal status of such actions, and the implications for asylum seekers. The exchange of opinions regarding these policies highlights a divide on how to manage immigration and care for those seeking refuge or residence in the United States.

To Make America Great Again, Separate Money and State

In an article dated January 27, 2025, Ron Paul discusses President Trump's executive orders aimed at reducing costs for American families. Trump issued an executive order instructing federal agencies to lessen regulations that raise costs or limit supplies in sectors like healthcare and housing. While repealing regulations can help specific industries, Paul argues that broad price increases across the economy stem from inflation, which is fueled by the Federal Reserve increasing the money supply.

Paul explains that lowering interest rates does provide short-term benefits, but it ultimately leads to a decline in Americans' living standards as the dollar loses value. The wealthy tend to benefit first when the money supply increases, receiving new funds before inflation drives prices higher. Interest rates, as the cost of money, are manipulated by the central bank, which disrupts market signals and leads to resource misallocation. This can create economic bubbles that, when they burst, result in recessions, with the middle and lower classes suffering the most.

He argues that the best approach when a recession occurs is to let it unfold naturally to correct the distortions caused by the Federal Reserve’s easy money policies. However, Congress and the Fed often pursue policies that set the stage for future bubbles through stimulus spending and low rates. Paul also notes that President Trump believes he has a better understanding of interest rates than Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, but argues no individual can accurately determine the correct rate without a free market.

Paul encourages Trump to continue criticizing the Federal Reserve and to support legislative measures that promote a free market in money, including alternatives like precious metals and cryptocurrencies, as essential to achieving his goals for America.

Criminally Pardoned Schiff Attacks Kash Patel for Exercising Civil Liberties

A criminal who received a preemptive pardon from former President Joe Biden criticized Kash Patel, President Trump's nominee for FBI director, for choosing to invoke his right against self-incrimination during a recent hearing. Senator Adam Schiff suggested that Patel might be the first FBI director nominee to plead the Fifth Amendment, indicating a lack of confidence in Patel's suitability for the role.

Schiff, who recently became the first sitting U. S. senator to accept a criminal pardon, had previously called blanket pardons unwise. The pardon he received pertains to his role on the January 6th committee and protects him and unnamed committee members from offenses related to their investigations. Although Schiff originally opposed such a measure, he embraced the pardon once granted, raising questions about his integrity.

The January 6th committee is alleged to have concealed exculpatory evidence and coached witnesses to alter their testimonies. If Patel becomes FBI director, he may investigate the committee's actions and compel pardoned individuals to testify, which could lead to significant legal risks for Schiff and other lawmakers.

This conflict between Schiff and Patel follows their past clashes during the investigation into alleged collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia. Patel was a main figure in proving the lack of collusion, while Schiff spread misinformation during hearings. Schiff later spearheaded impeachment efforts against Trump, facing accusations of misusing his position for political gain.

During the recent confirmation hearing, Democrats questioned Patel's refusal to disclose grand-jury testimony related to Trump’s handling of classified documents. Patel indicated he did not have details due to the secretive nature of the ongoing investigation. Despite attempts by Democrats to portray the situation negatively, Republican senators, including Thom Tillis, noted the expected unfounded claims against Patel.

Schiff lamented the current political environment and criticized Trump's actions to hold accountable those investigating him. He urged his supporters to recognize the historical risks to democracy, despite his own controversial pardon, showcasing a hypocrisy in his warnings about the state of democracy.

Documents reveal TAXPAYER-FUNDED censorship campaign against conservative media

Documents reveal that the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a U. K. -based organization, worked with U. S. taxpayer-funded groups to censor and demonetize conservative news outlets, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CCDH, led by CEO Imran Ahmed, was able to operate in the U. S. due to funding from various government agencies and private organizations, which allowed it to target conservative media under the pretext of combatting misinformation.

The CCDH's "Disinformation Dozen" report singled out 12 Americans, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Joseph Mercola, as key sources of vaccine skepticism. This report was utilized by the Biden administration to justify censoring content on social media that was critical of vaccines. The organization's tactics included pressuring companies like Google to remove financial support from conservative websites, which restricted their advertising revenue and visibility.

The CCDH's funding sources included the Obama Foundation, USAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. Their collaboration with a U. S. taxpayer-funded organization, Restless Development, involved creating "blocklists" that effectively blacklisted conservative sites from receiving advertising revenue, further amplifying the concerns surrounding government interference and free speech.

Ahmed claimed success in demonetizing conservative platforms during a U. K. Parliament testimony, indicating that such campaigns not only impacted financial backing but also engaged in legal threats against those disputing official narratives about COVID-19. This has prompted outrage from conservative groups and advocates for free speech, who assert that these actions threaten the foundations of democracy and free expression in the U. S.

America First Legal has called for a Department of Justice investigation into whether CCDH and its leadership are acting as foreign agents, highlighting the implications of foreign influence on U. S. policy and the ongoing battle over free speech rights. The concern is raised that when the government and tech companies collaborate to silence dissenting voices, it poses a significant risk to democracy as a whole.

These events underline the critical importance of safeguarding free speech in an age where information control is increasingly prevalent. As discussions around censorship and free expression grow, the actions of the CCDH serve as a warning against governmental overreach and the need for vigorous defenses of First Amendment rights.

State-Funded NPR Goes On Quest To Fact-Check Trump, Ends Up Owning Itself Instead

The taxpayer-funded news outlet NPR contradicted its own reporting about astronauts stranded in the International Space Station (ISS) while fact-checking President Donald Trump. NPR stated that American astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were not “stranded,” despite having labeled them as such in previous reports. Trump had asked Elon Musk and SpaceX to rescue the astronauts, saying they had been “virtually abandoned” in space by the Biden Administration.

NPR’s headline read, “Trump asks SpaceX to ‘go get’ two stranded ISS astronauts. They’re not stranded,” which highlights the confusion. The astronauts arrived on the ISS in June 2024, but encountered technical issues that delayed their return. A NASA audit revealed problems with Boeing's rockets, and NASA officials stated multiple times that the astronauts were not actually stranded, even though they could not provide a timeline for their return.

NPR relies on federal funding despite receiving less than 1% directly. The outlet has faced accusations of having a left-wing bias in its reporting. NPR did not respond to requests for comment.

Which Senators Are Owned by Big Pharma? RFK Jr.’s Confirmation Hearings Are Showing Us

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 's confirmation hearings for Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) have been characterized by intense questioning, revealing which Senators have received significant contributions from the pharmaceutical industry. The severity of questioning faced by Kennedy correlates with the amount of Pharma money each Senator received. Senator Bernie Sanders, the top recipient of donations from Big Pharma, aggressively questioned Kennedy about whether healthcare is a human right but interrupted him before he could fully elaborate.

Kennedy provided a thoughtful response, stating that healthcare is different from unalienable rights like free speech. Sanders, having received nearly $2 million from pharmaceutical companies, displayed a clear bias during the questioning. Also critical was Senator Elizabeth Warren, who showed extreme hostility towards Kennedy and accused him of seeking financial gain by suing vaccine manufacturers. Kennedy countered her claims by pointing out her hypocrisy in advising him not to hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for harm, despite her significant financial backing from the industry, totaling nearly $1. 2 million.

Both Senators Sanders and Warren have been accused of hypocrisy, accusing Kennedy of personal profit motives while accepting large donations from Big Pharma themselves. This suggests a connection between the financial support they received and their opposition to Kennedy's confirmation. Overall, the hearings highlighted not only the contentious atmosphere surrounding Kennedy's nomination but also the intricate links between political actions and pharmaceutical industry funding.

Imagination, Economics, and the Mythical Lighthouse

Imagination plays a crucial role in human thinking and action, serving both positive and negative purposes. It is essential for abstract thinking and allows us to envision possibilities beyond our current reality. However, imagination can also lead to misguided beliefs, especially in economic contexts where theories may not hold true in practice.

1. Role of Imagination:

• Imagination enables us to conceptualize ideas and scenarios that are not physically manifest. It can inspire innovation, creativity, or lead to misconceptions.

• Misunderstandings arise when people assert that concepts like communism work "in theory" but fail in reality, highlighting an overlook of human nature and economic principles.

2. Economics and Imagination:

• Economics often corrects overambitious ideas of what can be designed by political elites. Hayek emphasized that economics reveals how limited our knowledge is about designing order in complex systems.

• There is a tendency to misinterpret the capability of decentralized decision-making in fostering order and cooperation compared to centralized planning.

3. Cautions in Using Imagination:

• While imagination is vital for economic thought, it can lead to errors if not applied carefully. Mises pointed out the dangers of using "imaginary constructs" to derive economic lawsconstructions must be used cautiously to avoid misconceptions about reality.

4. Need for Imagination in Action:

• Imagination is vital in human action; individuals envision better conditions before making decisions. Entrepreneurs utilize imaginative thinking to identify and rearrange resources for market offerings.

• Innovation in technology requires imaginative planning of production processes.

5. Failure of Imagination and the State's Role:

• People often assume that certain services can only be provided by the state due to a lack of imagination about alternative solutions. This "imagination failure fallacy" suggests three errors:

• Assuming alternatives to government provision are impossible.

• Concluding necessity for government due to a failure to imagine private alternatives.

• Believing critical goods would be underproduced without state intervention.

6. The Lighthouse as a Mythical Example:

• The lighthouse is commonly cited as a public good that requires government provision, yet historical evidence shows that private sectors successfully managed lighthouses through tolls.

• The failure to conceive of diverse methods of providing public goods can lead to fallacious conclusions about governmental necessity.

Acknowledging our limitations in understanding economics and imagining possibilities is important. It is not a crime to lack knowledge about how markets can function. However, asserting the necessity of state intervention due to imagined impossibilities is irresponsible. Creative thinking should focus on exploring free-market solutions without jumping to the conclusion that government provision is needed. In summary, just because something cannot be easily imagined does not mean that it cannot exist outside of state provision.

Test Scores Take Another Dive As Schools Pocket $Billions

Another year has brought another disappointing National School Report Card, which evaluates the performance of American students. Test scores have not improved post-COVID shutdowns and continue to decline, indicating a severe educational crisis. The immense federal funding given to schools during the pandemic has not translated into better student outcomes, while primarily benefiting teacher unions instead.

The average reading scores for 8th graders fell from 263 in 2019 to 258 in 2024, erasing over three decades of progress. Math scores have remained stagnant and are still lower than those from five years ago. Equity among students is deteriorating, with lower-performing students receiving less support while those at the top improve slightly, a trend that has persisted since the Obama administration loosened No Child Left Behind regulations.

Concerns about the impact of these educational declines are serious, with predictions indicating current students could suffer a significant loss in lifetime earnings. Estimates suggest a cumulative income loss of up to $2 trillion for American children, which could severely hinder the U. S. economy.

To address these issues, it is vital to recognize that the real problems stem from ineffective school administrators and powerful teachers' unions, which have transformed public education into platforms of ideological messaging rather than centers of learning. The COVID shutdowns only worsened the situation, with many children receiving poor-quality online education.

Despite the allocation of $190 billion in federal relief funds, educational outcomes have further declined, with more resources seemingly enhancing the power of ineffective administrators. The decline in student enrollment in public schools highlights parents' dissatisfaction, even as the number of teachers and administrators has grown substantially.

The Education Department has not effectively solved these problems despite its significant budget. Historically, the U. S. excelled in innovation and economic growth without a federal education department. The current system is seen as mismanaged, prioritizing funding distribution over improving educational outcomes.

Reforming education should prioritize local community interests and parental authority over the demands of teachers and administrators. This could be achieved through the expansion of charter schools, Education Savings Accounts, vouchers, and increased school choice, thus allowing parents to select the right educational options for their children.

Recent efforts in Congress to enhance school choice are promising and could steer public schools away from bureaucratic restrictions and biased ideologies. Additionally, the Education Department has begun to roll back diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, marking a possible shift towards a more effective educational framework.

Continuing these reforms is crucial; the future of America's education and, consequently, the nation's prosperity hinges on improved school quality. It is essential to avoid leaving such a valuable resource in the control of failing teacher unions and ineffective administrators.

Gabbard’s Senate Critics Are More Interested In Protecting America’s Spy Agencies Than Fixing Them

Tulsi Gabbard, President Trump’s choice to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, has openly criticized America’s surveillance powers. During her Senate confirmation hearing, senators questioned her about the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), particularly its misuse to spy on Americans and on Trump’s 2016 campaign. Section 702 of this law enables federal agencies to collect communications of noncitizens abroad without a warrant, while allegedly protecting Americans from surveillance. However, the CIA was caught using this law to spy on Americans in 2022.

While in Congress, Gabbard supported reforms to FISA and sought to revoke the Patriot Act. At the hearing, she faced pressure from senators to clarify her current stance on the law. When discussing FISA reforms, Senator Mark Warner interrupted her attempt to explain her views. Senators John Cornyn and Mike Rounds also pressured her to express support for FISA, emphasizing its role in national security while stressing the need for protections of civil liberties.

Gabbard was also questioned about Edward Snowden, who gained attention for leaking classified information in 2013. She stated that while Snowden broke the law, he also revealed illegal and unconstitutional government programs, which led to reforms. Gabbard, who has praised Snowden in the past, also indicated she would not push for his pardon if confirmed as DNI. Senators hounded her to label Snowden as a “traitor,” which she did not do.

The hearing highlighted concerns over the misuse of surveillance by U. S. agencies, which have shifted focus from foreign adversaries to domestic political opponents. The FBI's involvement in various controversies, including spying on Trump’s campaign and targeting specific groups, showed a pattern of politicization within intelligence agencies. Critics noted the lack of questioning from senators about how to prevent these abuses in the future, indicating a preference for protecting the current system rather than reforming it.

Gabbard's skepticism towards the surveillance powers of U. S. intelligence agencies is presented as justified given the documented abuses. The commentary suggests that any Republican who does not share this skepticism should not be in public office.

Democrat Amy Klobuchar Melts Down as Kash Patel Responds to ‘False Accusations,’ ‘Grotesque Mischaracterizations’

Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar faced difficulties during her questioning of Kash Patel at a confirmation hearing for his nomination as the Director of the FBI. She accused him of making "false accusations" regarding the FBI, but Patel defended himself by stating that her quotes were often incomplete. Klobuchar expressed anger at Patel's statement that the FBI is "utterly corrupt" and questioned him about the trust in the FBI, highlighting recent increases in job applications under its current leadership.

Patel pointed out that public trust in the FBI is at a record low, stating that it stands at only 40 percent. Klobuchar pressed him on a past comment about shutting down the FBI headquarters. Patel responded by criticizing her attacks as false and unfair, highlighting his experience and endorsements from law enforcement officers to support his credibility.

As the questioning continued, Klobuchar appeared increasingly frustrated, insisting she was quoting Patel's own words and emphasizing the importance of facts. The exchange showcased the tension between the senator and Patel, with both sides asserting their perspectives on the FBI's integrity and Patel's qualifications for the director's position.

At several points, Patel affirmed his commitment to serving the Constitution and defending the FBI, insisting that the accusations against him were unjust. The hearing ended with a notable conflict between Klobuchar and Patel over the interpretation of his previous statements and the public perception of the FBI.

Dems Worry Kash Patel Could Weaponize FBI Against Political Enemies Like They Did

In a recent Senate confirmation hearing, Democratic senators expressed concern over Kash Patel, President Donald Trump's nominee for FBI director. They accused him of being a loyalist to Trump and suggested he might misuse the FBI. This fear stems from past incidents where the FBI was allegedly used for political purposes, especially during the Trump presidency, including the Russia investigation and the controversial raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago property.

During the hearing, Patel defended himself against accusations of political bias, stating he had the support of many law enforcement officers. Despite his reassurances, Democratic senators pressured him for commitments to protect FBI employees who were part of investigations against Trump. Senator Richard Blumenthal, for instance, demanded assurances that agents involved in the Mar-a-Lago case would be shielded from political fallout. Patel responded affirmatively, but Blumenthal dismissed his answer as insufficient.

Senator Amy Klobuchar also pressed Patel on his statements regarding the FBI headquarters, accusing him of suggesting it should be shut down. In his defense, Patel clarified that he meant to emphasize the need for FBI agents to work more collaboratively with local law enforcement outside of Washington, D. C. He argued that more resources should be allocated to fight crime in communities rather than centralized in the capital.

Despite Patel's explanations, senators repeatedly interrupted him and challenged his responses, often misinterpreting his statements. Their approach appeared to be more about political showmanship than genuine inquiries. The whole exchange raised questions about the Senate's commitment to constructive dialogue during such important hearings.

Patel maintained a clear stance throughout the interactions, asserting the importance of holding all FBI employees to the same standards without political interference. However, the questioning from senators seemed aimed at derailing his confirmation rather than addressing the core issues related to the FBI's operations under his potential leadership.

Soros Funded NY DA Alvin Bragg Continues to Target Pardoned J6 Political Prisoner Samuel Fisher

Samuel Fisher, a political prisoner from the January 6, 2021, events, attended the protest in Washington, DC, to express his free speech. He faces charges from New York’s District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who has been criticized for letting violent criminals go free while targeting political opponents. Fisher was originally charged with minor offenses related to entering a restricted area, but an armed raid on his home led to more serious charges. He was held on a $400,000 bond despite having no prior criminal record.

Fisher claims he was a victim of entrapment linked to a larger operation surrounding January 6. He states that evidence against him was selectively presented in court. There was no violence or property damage in his actions, just the fact that he participated in the protest as a public figure and a gun owner. When the FBI arrested him, they destroyed his truck and seized his personal property, claiming they were looking for evidence of criminal intent. Instead, they found no basis for the alleged conspiracy against the government.

Fisher was charged with possession of a weapon under a law that was also used against another individual, but the outcomes of their cases were significantly different. While Fisher, a Trump supporter, received a harsh sentence of three and a half years in prison, the other individual had charges dropped. He now faces the complication of being on felony parole in New York City, even after receiving a federal pardon.

Fisher criticizes the New York judicial system for being biased against those who supported Trump and for being lenient towards illegal immigrants with serious crimes. He feels unjustly treated and argues that New York laws aim to disarm citizens. Describing his experience in prison as hellish, he expresses a determination to seek justice, even knowing it will take a long time and cost him a lot. He urges others to help him and raise awareness of his situation, suggesting donations to support his legal fight.

Stop the Nonsense and Confirm Tulsi Gabbard

Conservatives are pleased with Donald Trump's first week as president, as he is making strong efforts to fulfill his campaign promises. He is focused on issues like border security and making changes to the Department of Justice. However, to achieve long-term success, Trump needs to appoint the right people to help him.

Trump selected Tulsi Gabbard as his director of national intelligence for specific reasons. He has previously faced significant opposition from the intelligence community, which has secretly sabotaged him and spread false claims, such as accusing him of being a Russian agent. The intelligence agencies have also misled him and pressured tech companies to censor information. Gabbard, who is critical of these agencies, is expected to bring much-needed reform.

Tulsi Gabbard is qualified for the role. She is an Iraq War veteran with eight years of experience in Congress, serving on committees relevant to national security. She has bipartisan support, being a former Democrat backed by Trump and also endorsed by prominent Republicans.

Critics attack Gabbard with false claims to undermine her. Some opponents, including those within the Republican Party, believe they can repeat old tactics against her just as they did with Trump. They falsely label her as a "Russian asset," similar to earlier attacks on Trump instigated by Hillary Clinton. This claim stems from her willingness to challenge the established consensus in Washington. Gabbard has supported military aid to Ukraine and recognized Putin as a U. S. adversary.

Another unfounded accusation is that Gabbard sympathizes with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. Her trip to meet Assad was properly cleared, and Congress has the freedom to engage with foreign leaders. Gabbard's critics also argue that she questioned the use of chemical weapons by Assad, although she has stated she believes they were used.

Other attacks against her, such as being labeled "soft on Iran," reflect a misunderstanding of her stance on avoiding unnecessary conflicts. Gabbard’s independent thinking and skepticism of conventional wisdom make her a strong candidate for this intelligence position. Trump needs someone like her, and voters want this change. Republicans should support Gabbard's appointment; otherwise, they risk facing primary challenges.

Chevron And GE Vernova Teaming Up To Build Nat Gas Plants To Power Data Centers

Despite concerns about data centers and AI, U. S. energy companies remain confident. Chevron, Engine No. 1, and GE Vernova are collaborating to build natural gas power plants near data centers to meet increasing electricity needs linked to AI growth. Chris James, from Engine No. 1, stated that energy is crucial for maintaining America's AI leadership and industrial strength by using domestic natural gas directly for electricity at data centers.

This initiative aims for significant output, with plans for "power foundries" that will provide up to 4 GW of power to data centers, easing the strain on the current power grid. The projects are expected to be completed by 2027, with further expansions anticipated.

Additionally, a new AI chatbot from Chinese startup DeepSeek has heightened U. S. -China AI competition. Its introduction led to declines in tech and energy stocks due to concerns that DeepSeek could match OpenAI’s ChatGPT at a lower cost. In reaction, President Trump signed an executive order to boost U. S. AI innovation and announced a $500 billion investment plan through a new venture named Stargate, starting in Texas.

The Dirty Dozen: Here Are Wasteful Federal Grants You’re Paying For

The article discusses the significant issues surrounding wasteful federal spending and the government programs that are considered unnecessary. It outlines concerns raised by politicians about budget cuts and highlights specific examples of questionable grants funded by taxpayers.

1. Budget Cuts and Political Responses:

• President Donald Trump faced backlash after his administration attempted to reduce federal spending, with Senator Martin Heinrich expressing frustration over perceived chaos stemming from these cuts.

• The article asserts that voters desire lower prices and fiscal restraint, pointing out the excessive debt caused by prior administrations.

2. Claims of Waste and Fraud:

• Representatives point to extensive waste, fraud, and abuse within federal programs, citing over $100 billion in improper payments reported for Medicaid and Medicare in 2023.

• Critics highlight that this financial mismanagement does not receive the attention it deserves amid debates about federal funding.

3. Federal Grants and Their Uses:

• The article lists several federal grants regarded as wasteful or controversial, emphasizing the nature of their funding.

• For instance, a $100,000 grant supports a girls' running program in Gaza, which raises questions about its relevance.

• A $1. 5 million grant from the National Science Foundation aims to promote "Black Feminist Epistemologies. "

• Additional grants fund projects related to social justice in education, insect protein acceptance, and the investigation of structural ableism.

4. Continuous Oversight:

• Despite challenges faced by the administration in maintaining budget cuts, it remains committed to reviewing federal spending to eliminate wasteful initiatives.

• A report highlights that many federal agencies are outdated, reflecting government inefficiencies in managing taxpayer funds.

The article underscores ongoing concerns about federal spending and accountability, as enshrined in the various examples of grant expenditures. It highlights the broader implications for taxpayer money, fiscal responsibility, and the necessity for reform in government spending practices.

Democrats for Infanticide

The U. S. Senate voted on January 30, 2025, regarding the "Born-Alive Survivors Protection Act" but failed to pass it with a 52-47 vote, falling short of the 60 votes needed to overcome a filibuster. This act aimed to require medical care for babies born alive during third-trimester abortions, but every Senate Democrat opposed it.

In states that support Roe v. Wade, third-trimester abortions can be performed for various reasons, not just medical emergencies. Many babies can survive outside the womb at this stage, but such abortions are often performed for social or economic reasons rather than life-threatening conditions. The text reflects on past debates regarding late-term abortion procedures, such as the now-banned partial-birth abortion, which some view as a form of infanticide.

Former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s comments in a 2019 interview highlight the controversial nature of care for babies born alive during failed abortions. He stated the baby would be "resuscitated" if the mother wanted but implying they could be left without care if she did not. This perspective raises ethical concerns about neglecting a newborn, which critics label as passive euthanasia.

The text also discusses the reasons some women choose late-term abortions, such as the diagnosis of severe disabilities like Downs Syndrome. It criticizes the decision to terminate pregnancies based on such conditions, contrasting past portrayals of disabled individuals in media with modern practices that can lead to the extinction of such populations.

Additionally, the text mentions how some abortionists use drugs like digoxin to induce fetal death before birth, effectively preventing the possibility of rights being granted to a live-born child. The reasoning surrounding "after-birth abortion" is also introduced, suggesting that justifications for terminating pregnancies could apply to infants post-delivery, which challenges long-standing distinctions between abortion and infanticide.

Finally, the author expresses concern that only 60 senators could not unite against practices viewed as infanticide, calling this a disgrace.

Now pardoned J6 political prisoner claims he has evidence Capitol Police incited riots

Jacob Hiles, a charter boat captain from Virginia Beach, claims he has video evidence showing that Capitol Police incited violence during the January 6, 2021, riot. After being pardoned by former President Donald Trump, Hiles asserts that federal agents threatened him with long prison sentences if he shared his footage. He claims to have over an hour of video from the events, with at least nine minutes depicting police using a "super soaker" filled with bear spray to provoke the crowd.

Hiles provides examples of incidents within his video, including footage of a man, identified as a Vietnam veteran, questioning why he was sprayed with pepper spray by the police. Hiles's testimony challenges the official narrative that the police acted in a defensive manner. He insists that the police's actions using tear gas and other munitions triggered a confrontation rather than the crowd being solely responsible for the violence.

In a Zoom meeting with a special agent in charge of the January 6 events, Hiles claims he was warned that discussing his videos publicly would lead to severe consequences, including spending his life in prison. Hiles's lawyer believes that this conversation was documented, which could serve as further evidence of intimidation faced by January 6 protesters.

Hiles's claims align with assertions made by other protesters suggesting that the Capitol Police played a role in inciting the riots. He argues that the widely accepted narrative of a chaotic insurrectionist mob is false, stating that the events of January 6 were manipulated by government overreach. The evidence presented by Hiles could lead to a reevaluation of the circumstances surrounding the day, suggesting a more complex situation than previously portrayed.

As new information emerges from Hiles's findings and other sources, the dominant narrative regarding January 6 may need to be reconsidered. This shift could reveal troubling truths about the government's actions during the events, including the motivations and methods used to control the situation and silence dissent.

Mexico—Friend, Enemy, Neutral, or Something Else?

After years of U. S. leniency, Mexico is taking advantage of open borders, the drug trade, and remittances, prompting the need for America to enforce stricter measures and regain control. Recent incidents, such as Mexican nationals allegedly linked to cartels shooting an American, raise concerns about Mexico's perception of U. S. tolerance towards potential violence against its citizens.

Mexico's refusal to allow a U. S. plane to land and return apprehended illegal aliens indicates a belief that the U. S. will continue to allow the flow of illegal immigration without consequence. The Biden administration's perceived appeasement has led to Mexico believing it can send many of its impoverished citizens into the U. S. while ignoring the drug crisis, primarily from fentanyl, which has been responsible for around 75,000 American deaths annually. The cartels mask fentanyl as less harmful drugs, exacerbating this problem.

Mexico benefits from about $63 billion in remittances sent by its citizens living in the U. S. , an amount that significantly supports its economy. Much of this comes from U. S. taxpayers indirectly, as local and federal governments provide services that allow illegal residents to send money home. The trade deficit with Mexico has grown from $50 billion to $160 billion over twenty years, excluding remittances and drug profits.

Despite the negative impact of these policies, Mexican politicians often disregard the consequences of illegal immigration and drug trafficking. Former Mexican President López Obrador once praised illegal immigration instead of addressing the reasons behind it.

To counter Mexico’s problematic policies, the U. S. should change its approach by publicly affirming relations while taking firm actions against illegal immigration, such as arranging for apprehended aliens to be returned to Mexico. A reasonable tax on remittances and tariffs on imports could help correct the economic imbalance stemming from this unequal relationship. It is suggested that respecting U. S. laws and interests will encourage Mexico to become a more cooperative partner, rather than viewing the U. S. as a soft target.

'No Immigrant Should Be Detained,' Says Left-Wing Nonprofit With $769 Million Federal Immigration Contract

The Acacia Center for Justice, based in Washington, D. C. , is a large federal immigration contractor managing a $769 million program that provides legal assistance to unaccompanied children and adults in immigration court. The group opposes the Trump administration's immigration policies, claiming the system is designed to exploit and discriminate against Black and brown individuals. Acacia Center advocates against detention and electronic surveillance for illegal immigrants, seeking to dismantle local law enforcement's role in immigration enforcement.

The center's stance directly contrasts with the Trump administration's plans to increase deportations and reduce funding to sanctuary cities that do not cooperate with federal immigration authorities. Acacia argues for "gender affirming language" in immigration courts and insists that failure to use correct pronouns violates federal anti-discrimination laws.

Parker Thayer, a senior analyst at the Capital Research Center, responded critically, stating it is unreasonable for the government to fund an organization that opposes its policies. Recently, the administration imposed a funding freeze on some of Acacia's programs, but its primary contract for legal services remains unaffected.

Mike Corradini, deputy chief of programs at Acacia, emphasized the importance of ensuring due process rights for immigrants. The group is prepared to collaborate with the Department of Justice to restore essential services despite ongoing policy disagreements, asserting that they fight for justice for all.

Acacia's executive director, Shaina Aber, stated that election results will not erase the nation’s multicultural identity and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring due process protections. Acacia Center is a spinoff of the Vera Institute of Justice, which has previously advocated for defunding police and abolishing immigration enforcement. Vera Institute no longer receives federal immigration contracts but has obtained significant funding for other justice-related initiatives under the Biden administration.

In summary, the Acacia Center for Justice is working against Trump-era immigration policies, advocating for the rights of immigrants and claiming the system discriminates against certain groups. Its contrasting views and actions put its funding at risk under the current administration, but the organization remains committed to its goals of due process and justice for immigrants.

California’s corruption is the unnatural disaster behind the fires.

California is in a serious crisis due to wildfires, which have caused an estimated $40 billion in damages. This is significantly higher than previous fires, prompting many insurance companies to leave the state, making homeowners increasingly uninsurable. As a result, there has been a 123% rise in homeowners relying on the state’s FAIR Plan, which claims to cover losses but is financially insufficient. The state will likely have to cover financial gaps, leading to more problems with upcoming mudslides.

Amid these insurance issues, Senator Susan Rubio, formerly the head of the Senate Insurance Committee, is under suspicion for bribery while advocating for illegal immigrants. Her claims of deportation from a young age have become part of her political identity. Senator Rubio has also been connected to a significant corruption investigation involving California officials, with many having faced federal charges.

Rubio's hometown of Baldwin Park has a history of corruption, and she was questioned by the FBI regarding bribery related to the marijuana industry. Recently, it was reported that she may have solicited bribes totaling $240,000 from a cannabis company, raising concerns about her role in the state's insurance crisis while she supports illegal immigrants’ rights.

Senator Ron Calderon, a previous chair of the Senate Insurance Committee, was removed from his position due to involvement in a significant insurance fraud case, resulting in prison time. The Democratic leadership is criticized for trying to protect Rubio’s position by leaving her committee chair vacant during a vital time when homeowner insurance issues are critical.

The Senate leader claimed they support ethical behavior by investigating allegations against Rubio. However, despite the ongoing investigation, they have decided to reappoint her to lead the committee. This decision has sparked outrage among the public, as the state faces unprecedented insurance market challenges.

If Rubio is indicted, she would make history as the first female California legislator to face public corruption charges while in office. Meanwhile, the ongoing crisis demonstrates that political corruption has added to the state's natural disasters, with California's Democratic majority accused of failing to address issues ranging from crime to environmental disasters, further straining Californians' lives and finances.

The Big Guy’s Treason

From the beginning, I believed the claims about Donald Trump’s connections to Russia, heavily promoted by the left-leaning media, were simply a large hoax. Likewise, I found the Wuhan lab leak theory to be more credible than the narrative about a wet market. It was also clear to me that Joe Biden led a profitable crime family, despite contrary assertions from the Democratic Party and several intelligence veterans who claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.

It was easy to see the truth behind the lies. Hunter Biden’s large payments from foreign nations, like Ukraine and China, and his luxurious lifestyle suggested widespread corruption based on influence-peddling. Currently, about half of Americans believe the Hunter Biden laptop story revolves around his drug and sex issues rather than serious crimes connected to his family. Many still can’t accept that “Lunchpail Joe” Biden has done anything wrong while accusing Donald Trump of extreme corruption.

This denial of facts is incredibly frustrating. Miranda Devine, an Australian-American journalist, discussed the deceptive nature of Hunter Biden’s laptop in her book, "Laptop from Hell," and now in "The Big Guy," she highlights the cover-up surrounding these issues. Devine presents her story in great detail, making it complex to follow, and she includes numerous players. The book describes the efforts from some Americans in authority to uncover the truth, while others have tried to obstruct investigations.

Hunter Biden’s questionable tax write-offs included payments for prostitutes and extravagant living expenses. His extravagant spending on vices revealed a significant financial issue that was somehow supported by Kevin Morris, who provided large sums of money to bail him out over the years. Hunter also realized a substantial advance from a book contract, which ultimately flopped, and earned millions from selling his art, which many viewed as overpriced and potentially a method of laundering money.

Hunter Biden's main income came from foreign firms. Notables included Burisma in Ukraine and a company in Russia, both of which paid him handsomely in exchange for using his father's influence. The intricate system of bank accounts and shell companies used to hide these transactions shows a deliberate attempt to stay under the radar. Rep. James Comer reported that many of these financial patterns pointed towards schemes of the Biden family, yet the White House dismissed his claims outright.

In Congress, several politicians explored the Biden family’s dealings, while others worked to hinder the investigations. IRS agent Joe Ziegler persisted in seeking accountability, motivated by integrity, while Rudy Giuliani worked tirelessly to expose the evidence on Hunter's laptop despite immense pressure from the Biden administration. Even with evidence in hand, authorities like the FBI did not pursue the investigation against the Bidens seriously.

High-ranking officials in organizations like the CIA and FBI seemed unwilling to investigate the Biden family or actively protected them while dismissing any incrimination. Moreover, certain politicians took actions to undermine serious inquiries and focused instead on attacking individuals trying to bring the truth to light. Notably, the media overlooked critical information about the laptop, and social media platforms censored the stories relating to it.

The corruption detailed by Devine is alarming. The complex web of relationships and transactions illustrates Hunter’s struggles with addiction and lifestyle choices, while Joe Biden appeared to exploit his son for financial gains from foreign adversaries. The protection provided to Hunter and Joe Biden by powerful figures in various government agencies has enabled them to avoid scrutiny, which raises serious concerns about the integrity of these institutions.

Despite the surrounding corruption, there is hope that Donald Trump’s return to the White House might spur change. Devine closes on an optimistic note about truth-tellers emerging and suggests that accountability might still be possible for the corrupt Biden family and their defenders.

Calif. “Mental Health” for Children Promotes the Occult

An official mental health app in California, named "Soluna," is being criticized for promoting controversial themes related to the occult, homosexuality, and sexual behaviors among children. The program, claimed to aid teens in managing their emotions and boosting their self-esteem, contains pagan elements such as Tarot cards and references to channeling a "high priestess. " Lessons encourage children to embrace these themes and even suggest they can "create [their] own reality" by casting spells.

One lesson discusses a narrative between an immigrant parent and her queer child, challenging traditional cultural values and presenting homosexuality as a fixed characteristic. Another part of the app instructs children about "physical intimacy," suggesting casual relationships and questioning the value of monogamy, as long as consent is present.

The app also distorts traditional cultural narratives, such as the story of Thanksgiving, misrepresenting it as a reflection of cultural oppression rather than a moment of fellowship between Native Americans and European settlers. The lessons appear to undermine biblical tenets, promoting notions of self-worth without acknowledgment of the need for repentance or a savior.

Critics, including educator Brenda Lebsack, argue that the content is inappropriate and goes against Judeo-Christian values, claiming that these mental health hotlines are being turned into tools of indoctrination. They express concern that children are being encouraged to engage in discussions about gender and sexual orientation with unverified adults, which could be harmful.

Further, programs like Trevor Space are cited as promoting radical LGBT ideology and various non-traditional identities, funded by taxpayer money through California state initiatives. The California Department of Health Care Services promotes these programs as part of a significant investment in youth behavioral health, yet many believe they fail to address the real mental health crisis faced by the youth today.

Recent data shows that a concerning number of high school girls are contemplating suicide, leading critics to argue that the indoctrination and propaganda further exacerbate their struggles instead of providing genuine support. They call for an end to what they perceive as a harmful agenda against children and taxpayers.
