ORIGINAL POST. Israel reversed its decision on Friday and will allow Rep. Rashida Tlaib to enter the country to visit her grandmother.
In her humanitarian request, Tlaib had urged Interior Minister Aryeh Deri to allow her entry so she could visit her 90-year-old grandmother because it may be her "Last opportunity" to see her.
On Friday, after the government granted her request, Tlaib argued it's just too "Humiliating" now to take the trip.
I can't allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my sity to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies.
Israel decided to ban Tlaib and Omar from the country because of their prominent support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which encourages the boycott of Israeli goods and services.
