The Continuing Dysfuntion That Fills The Democrat Party.

It is a sad sight to watch. Democrats are falling all over themselves trying to convince us that Mueller was all wrong. No collusion with Russia is established. But the mealy mouth language in the report regarding obstruction is now their focus. They just know he is guilty and will seek to prove it. No matter that the AG, a Republican, and the Deputy AG, a Democrat, agree items identified do not support a charge of obstruction. But Democrats remain committed to their mantra that Trump is a danger to all of us and must be removed from office. The items below are just some that address the matter.  The final item in this listing serves as a warning to overly ambitious Democrats seeking to destroy Trump.

Quote: "BOMBSHELL: Dems Plot Secret Agreement to Continue Targeting Trump With Investigations."  And,  "POTUS wants to see Americans do well, keep as much of their money as possible, and protect the borders. The fact that Dems are still colluding behind closed doors to destroy Trump is as low as it gets, but they don’t care – that’s the problem. Conservative Rep. Jim Jordan (OH) explains it best: It’s ironic that Dems continue to talk collusion when they’re the ones actually colluding! We learned that Dem Chairmen have secret Memos of Understanding to coordinate their partisan “investigations” on the President."    https://flagandcross.com/bombshell-dems-plot-secret-agreement-to-continue-targeting-trump-with-investigations/

Quote: "Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a statement on Thursday ahead of the release of the Robert Mueller report demanding that the special counsel testify before Congress. “Attorney General [William] Barr’s regrettably partisan handling of the Mueller report, including his slanted March 24th summary letter, his irresponsible testimony before Congress last week, and his indefensible plan to spin the report in a press conference later this morning — hours before he allows the public or Congress to see it — have resulted in a crisis of confidence in his independence and impartiality,” the statement said."    https://patriotpulse.net/chuck-schumers-reaction-to-the-mueller-report-will-leave-you-speechless/

Quote: "[Elizabeth] Warren is not the first Democrat to call for Trump’s impeachment. California Rep. Maxine Waters began sounding the alarm before the 2017 inauguration and has repeated the call on a variety of occasions for a variety of reasons. Freshman Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York have cited both Mueller’s report and alleged violations of the emoluments clause as reasons to impeach."    https://theusawire.com/2019/04/10931-elizabeth-warren-throws-down-the-gauntlet-calls-for-impeachment/

Quote: "INSTANT CLASSIC: Maxine Goes Berserk After ‘Fake AG’ Bill Barr Clears Trump In Russia Probe."  And, "As I stated last night on MSNBC, the American people shouldn’t have expected Barr to do anything more than what he did: protect Trump. Barr has been acting as Trump’s defense atty, not AG. Barr’s performance was outrageously disrespectful of the Constitution & the American public."    https://flagandcross.com/instant-classic-maxine-goes-berserk-after-fake-ag-bill-barr-clears-trump-in-russia-probe/

Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) called on Thursday for Attorney General William Barr to step down after the top law enforcement official defended President Trump at a news conference previewing the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's Report."  https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/439536-swalwell-calls-for-barr-to-resign

Quote: "Schiff pivots from collusion ‘evidence’ to Trump’s ‘unpatriotic’…should be ‘condemned’ criminal acts or not."  And,  "So now Schiff has pivoted, saying that even if President Trump hasn’t committed any crimes, he should still be condemned because Schiff doesn’t like him. “Whether these acts are criminal or not — whether the obstruction of justice was criminal or not — or whether these contacts were sufficiently illicit to rise to the level of a criminal conspiracy, they are unquestionably dishonest, unethical, immoral and unpatriotic. And should be condemned by every American. And that is how I think we should view the Mueller report.”    https://www.bizpacreview.com/2019/04/19/schiff-pivots-from-collusion-evidence-to-trumps-unpatriotic-should-be-condemned-criminal-acts-or-not-746583?

Quote: "The Mueller, redactions and all, is out. The conclusion is no collusion or something like that. Nevertheless, there is a still a man out there who claims that collusion did happen.  His name is Representative Adam Schiff or "The Media’s Pin-Up Doll" as Julie Kidd calls him: An original architect of the Trump-Russia collusion fable since the summer of 2016, Schiff shamelessly continues to lie to the American public with claims that the president and his team conspired with the Kremlin to win the presidential election.  He is the Jussie Smollett of the collusion hoax, insisting a crime really occurred even when every piece of evidence not only refutes that it ever happened but shows he was one of the original perpetrators. It's time for Schiff to tell us what he knows."     https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/04/its_time_for_schiff_to_put_or_shut_up.html

Quote: "When Attorney General published Mueller report, Schiff said: “Whether these acts are criminal or not, whether the obstruction of justice was criminal or not or whether these contacts were sufficiently illicit … they are unquestionably dishonest, unethical, immoral and unpatriotic. Can anyone understand what Adam Schiff wants?"

Quote: "Democrat Congressman Sean Maloney got schooled by Fox News host Martha MacCallum when he rudely cut her off mid-sentence and raised his voice at her while discussing the Mueller report — on her show. “You’re very rude, sir! That was rude!” MacCallum said in response to Maloney repeatedly claiming that President Trump had obstructed justice."  And,  "For the record, Robert Mueller concluded there was no evidence of collusion between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign (that was focus of the Russia investigation). Mueller did not draw a conclusion on obstruction of justice, but the LACK OF AN INDICTMENT against Trump means there was insufficient evidence. But Congressman Sean Maloney repeatedly tried to suggest otherwise."

Quote: "Hollywood celebrities should stick to their craft, professional acting. When it comes to politics they are in way over their heads. Hollywood Meltdown is a great day for America! It is election night all over again, judging from the left freaking out. Hollywood joined Democrats and the establishment media in going into full meltdown mode Thursday following Attorney General William Barr releasing the full Mueller report to the public. Celebrities accused President Donald Trump of being “guilty” and called the report a cover-up. As Barr already stated in his letter to Congress in March, the Mueller probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election found no evidence of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia and did not recommend criminal charges against the president for obstruction of justice. Hollywood, having learned nothing since their last Mueller meltdown, simply quadrupled down on their claims that President Trump is a criminal.    https://godfatherpolitics.com/heres-hollywoods-mueller-report-meltdown/

Quote: "Being a member of the mainstream media means you never have to issue a correction, admit you are wrong, or say the words, “I’m sorry.” It also means you can have a salary that runs into the millions of dollars, despite never doing an honest day’s work."  And, "For two weeks now, Americans have been subjected to dueling headlines claiming that the White House is “bracing for the release of the Mueller report,” and that AG Barr’s redactions of information in the Mueller report will amount to a cover-up. CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, and the youngest member of the Trump-hating media – the Drudge Report – have all been treating us to those headlines. The DNC talking-point readers have now been twisted into such a mental pretzel that their every utterance is nonsensical. They’re not even trying at this point. The “news” is simply a confusing funhouse mirror by which they’re trying to keep the #Resistance from running to the psych ward."    https://www.americanlibertyreport.com/articles/mainstream-media-shifts-narrative-to-barr-cover-up/

Quote: "Mueller Humiliates CNN And MSNBC, Says Russia Interference Predated Trump."  And,  "The media should be ashamed of themselves after the release of the long-awaited Mueller report. Now, the Mueller report makes clear a few things – that the Trump campaign was inexperienced but was not malicious. Further, Russia has been interfering in our elections for years (truth be told we interfere in elections too but we are much better at it) and in fact their attempts in the 2016 election predated Trump. Let that sink in. In 2014 before Trump wasn’t even a politician and Putin was meddling. The media needs to apologize right now to President Trump."    https://explainlife.com/mueller-humiliates-cnn-and-msnbc-says-russia-interference-predated-trump-14026/?

Quote: "The Mueller report fell with a thud of Washington and as usual, the Democrats found a way to spin it. They are doing an awkward form of mental gymnastics to keep the conspiracy theory alive, but after going all in for so long they know little else to do. They went all in on Russia and it turned out there it was a blank. So now they are finding weak lines of attack. George Stephanopoulos had Sarah Sander’s job in the Clinton white house and he certainly did his share of spinning. Which makes his questions just obnoxious."    https://explainlife.com/sarah-sanders-shuts-down-annoying-stephanopoulos-over-mueller-report-lies-14032/?

Quote: "The Mueller report should never have been written in its current form because it is unfair to President Donald Trump, who was found not to have committed a crime, attorney Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax TV. During an appearance on "Newsmax Now," Dershowitz reacted to the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian collusion and said it will give Democrats a "roadmap" to pursue more investigations and, potentially, an impeachment. "He's been vindicated legally, but factually, morally, politically, there's a lot in there that will be used by Democrats to try to show that although he may not have committed criminal conduct, he certainly committed conduct that's not desirable by a president," Dershowitz said. "That's exactly why there should never have been a Mueller report. The tradition of the Justice Department — a very good one, we remember when [former FBI Director James] Comey violated it with Hillary Clinton — is that when you decide not to charge somebody with a crime, you then don't write a series of essays, or in this case a book, about all the bad things that they did that didn't amount to criminal conduct. That seems to be very, very unfair, and that's the negatives that have come out of this for President Trump."    https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/alan-dershowitz-mueller-report-congress-impeachment/2019/04/18/id/912381/?
Quote: "Now that the Mueller report is out, Democrats are in a quandary. Unable to admit that they were utterly wrong about sleazy Democratic operative Robbie Mook's original Trump-colluded-with-the-Russians-to-steal-the-election-from-Hillary Clinton narrative, they're now scanning every nook and cranny of the Mueller report to find something useful to use to impeach the president on. A very good analysis from the San Francisco Chronicle's John Wildermuth and Tal Kopan, points to how problematic that is, given that the report had far fewer redactions to holler about than they'd hope"  And,  "The impeachment thing has always been a non-starter with the broad base of American voters. As Wildermuth and Kapor observe: No one’s going to be swayed: Because the report does not contain a smoking gun, it is unlikely to change many voters’ opinion of Trump. In fact, polls suggest that people’s views of the president already are baked in and there is little in the Mueller report — or the news in general — that will change people’s minds. Yet as this goes on, Democrats are digging in deeper on impeachment as their signature cause now, minus any ammunition from the Mueller report, plunging their fists into what's in reality a tar baby, all because they can't help themselves. That's what voters are going to know them for since it will be their only accomplishment in this term. Sound like a winner? They think it is. They're about to learn of their own stupidity with that tar baby, the hard way. And Republicans will helpfully serve as their savvier B'rer Rabbit."     https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/04/the_mueller_report_becomes_a_tar_baby_for_the_democrats.html

Quote: "With the Resistance in full panic mode, scrabbling to move the goal posts after the public release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report, which showed no evidence of collusion, Andrew McCarthy scorched Mueller for punting on the issue of obstruction of justice. With the Trump-hating cabal poring over the pages, painstakingly dissecting every passage to discover a hidden gem that will condemn the president, Mueller left the issue of obstructing dangling, saying that he couldn’t conclude Trump committed a crime, but also cannot exonerate him — which not only serves as a convenient out for him, but provides Democrats the tiniest of cracks to slither through in pursuit of Trump. McCarthy, a senior fellow at the National Review Institute and a contributing editor of National Review, wrote an op-ed run in the New York Post critical of Mueller for so casually shifting the burden of proof after failing to resolve whether there were legal grounds and sufficient evidence to warrant obstruction of justice charges. Instead, Mueller left it to Attorney General William Barr to find that there was no obstruction. “This is unbecoming behavior for a prosecutor and an outrageous shifting of the burden of proof: The constitutional right of every American to force the government to prove a crime has been committed, rather than to have to prove his or her own innocence,” McCarthy wrote."    https://www.bizpacreview.com/2019/04/19/andrew-mccarthy-offers-devastating-critique-of-mueller-slyly-shifting-burden-of-proof-on-obstruction-746558?

Quote: "When special counsel Robert Mueller finally finished his investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, he produced a report that confirms much of the criticism President Trump has leveled at him during the past two years. It clearly reveals that Mueller’s partisan investigators were determined to “get Trump,” and that they were frustrated by their inability to do so. This is most obvious in the section dealing with obstruction of justice. As it is phrased in the Introduction to Volume II, “[T]his report does not conclude that the President committed a crime.” An honest evaluation would have stopped there. Mueller’s team, however, were loath to pursue the honorable course. Their partisan bias compelled them to gratuitously add — after taking eight full paragraphs to explain why they didn’t conclude that Trump had obstructed justice — that they nonetheless would “not exonerate him.” This is the cheapest of cheap shots. It is obviously a cowardly attempt to damage the President with innuendo rather than an actual accusation of obstruction that would eventually have to be supported with proof of “conscious wrongdoing” that Mueller couldn’t produce. Mueller and his minions opted, instead, for good old-fashioned calumny. This is particularly disgraceful considering the restraint Trump demonstrated during the probe. He could, for example, have asserted executive privilege to prevent investigators from gaining access to all manner of documents as well as several witnesses. Trump is the first president since Jimmy Carter not to invoke that well-established prerogative. Trump also resisted the temptation to simply halt the probe, a power that he does possess under Article II of the Constitution. Mueller ignored this cooperation and chronicled 10 examples of unobstruction in the Executive Summary of Volume II."    https://spectator.org/muellers-despicable-parthian-shot/?

Quote: "Mueller Madness: Some Takeaways.  This will be a brief summary, in no particular order, of some of the takeaways."     https://spectator.org/mueller-madness-some-takeaways/

Democrats are playing with fire if they think they can survive any attempt to impeach President Trump based on content in the Mueller report. Both AG Barr (R) and DAG Rosenstein (D) found that the very information Democrats have seized upon does not constitute obstruction, much less cause for impeachment.  Lots of details are emerging of real criminal behavior within a large swath of the Obama administration, including by Obama himself.  Any personality driven sins Trump and his administration have committed pale in comparison. Democrats need to consider this newly revealed information before they embarrass themselves more than they already have.  Quote: "We all know by now that Steele wrote up the dossier based on things he read online from a CNN message board. We also know the FBI never checked out any of Steele’s claims before presenting the information as “facts” to the FISA court. We know now, that this kind of thing was commonplace under the Obama administration. Now that Attorney General, William Barr had said in front of Congress that he believes the Obama administration spied on Trump’s campaign team and others illegally, the truth is finally starting to work its way to the surface. As the media pours over the Mueller report and attempts to defame AG Barr and anyone else who tries to tell the truth, transcripts from a closed door hearing with the FBI’s former Counterintelligence Director, Bill Priestap in front of Congress reveals way juicier details, including allegations of more than just spying for Obama officials. Priestap’s testimony tells the story of an Obama administration that deliberately broke the law in the way it spied on Donald Trump. Priestap’s story, which was provided to Congress in a closed-door session in the summer of 2018, contains a litany of abuses. Priestap served as assistant director for the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division from 2015 to 2018. During that time, he managed investigations that were considered politically sensitive, namely the investigation into Clinton’s email server abuses and the probe into the activities of Donald Trump in 2016. Priestap’s testimony gives clear insights into what really happened during those investigations. In particular, they clarify numerous instances that show the wiretapping was both illegal and deliberate. Priestap describes the Obama administration as unconcerned that its activities could disrupt the electoral process, disinterested in following proper legal procedure, and determined to violate the privacy rights of Trump’s election team. Priestap gave his testimony in June of 2018. The 219-page transcript of his testimony was just released to the public and is heavily redacted. But it contains key insights into the many privacy abuses of the FBI working under the Obama White House."    https://www.americanlibertyreport.com/articles/fbis-closed-door-testimony-points-to-more-wrongdoing-than-just-spying-by-obama-officials/
