Democrats are playing with fire if they think they can survive any attempt to impeach President Trump based on content in the Mueller report. Both AG Barr (R) and DAG Rosenstein (D) found that the very obstruction of justice content Democrats have seized upon does not constitute obstruction.  Lots of details are emerging of real criminal behavior within a large swath of the Obama administration, including Obama himself.  Any personality driven sins Trump and his administration may have committed pale in comparison.  Quote: "We all know by now that Steele wrote up the dossier based on things he read online from a CNN message board. Priestap’s story, which was provided to Congress in a closed-door session in the summer of 2018, contains a litany of abuses. Priestap served as assistant director for the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division from 2015 to 2018. During that time, he managed investigations that were considered politically sensitive, namely the investigation into Clinton’s email server abuses and the probe into the activities of Donald Trump in 2016. Priestap’s testimony gives clear insights into what really happened during those investigations. In particular, they clarify numerous instances that show the wiretapping was both illegal and deliberate. Priestap describes the Obama administration as unconcerned that its activities could disrupt the electoral process, disinterested in following proper legal procedure, and determined to violate the privacy rights of Trump’s election team. Priestap gave his testimony in June of 2018. The 219-page transcript of his testimony was just released to the public and is heavily redacted. This item proves that the unfortunate truth of Democrat party crimes that should be the focus of Left Wing Media. They have no choice, but will they for a change become truth seeking journalists?  They lost the battle over Trump/Russia collusion and now they are going to lose their war against reporting the truth.  Pockets will resist but as the truth based on actual facts reaches the light of day, they will be exposed as the fake news frauds they have been for far too long.  So the media will have to remake themselves or suffer the disastrous consequences.  The NY Times, it seems, is reading the tea leaves with reporting we see here.  Time will tell if they will lead the rest of the left wing journalists, other media outlets and social media operations out of their fake news and censorship deserts. We wouldn’t know about the role of Fusion GPS – the opposition research firm hired by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to commission the Steele dossier. Fusion is also linked to the infamous Trump Tower meeting, and hired Nellie Ohr – the CIA-linked wife of the DOJ’s then-#4 employee, Bruce Ohr. Nellie fed her husband Bruce intelligence she had gathered against Trump while working for Fusion, according to transcripts of her closed-door Congressional testimony. So too we need to watch what Democrat politicians do.  If they are smart they will start doing their jobs rather than seeking to destroy Trump, and in the process of doing so destroying themselves.  But the fact is they also have no choice but to own up to the fake news crimes political leftists have sponsored and for too long condoned.  We also need to observe the behavior of other aspects of our cultural left wing operatives such as public education, colleges and universities, entertainment industries and the too many left wing cultural elitist movers and shakers in corporate America and finally our religious institutions, many of which have lost their way and drifted leftward along with the rest of society.  Time will tell.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team systematically targeted the people around the president, squeezing them like lemons, indicting them on mostly process crimes created by the investigation itself. They reviewed everyone’s emails, text messages, phone calls, bank statements — and yet their conclusion on collusion was clear and definitive. It has to be believed. I was there working with former President Clinton in 1998 when he pondered whether to send missiles against Osama bin Laden but was concerned it would be viewed as “wagging the dog.” We missed bin Laden that day. It was symbolic of how everything in the White House was affected by the Monica Lewinsky investigation; it changed everything we did. And, yes, there was a good bit of cursing then, too. The big difference between today and what happened in 1998 or during the Nixon era is that, at the end of the day, the Mueller investigators found no stained dress, no break-in, no hush money, no enemies list. There never was a crime, and what seemed far-fetched was simply that — this time, a duly elected president was investigated for a crime that never even existed. In fact, evidence is mounting that the investigation itself was launched on phony grounds. And so, the screaming partisan antics of Democrats in the House are likely to set the Democratic Party back a decade if they do not get a grip on themselves. In partisan unison, with scripted talking points, they keep calling everyone else “partisan.” It simply does not pass the laugh test at this point."  And,  "It’s time for Democrats and the country to move past the Russia collusion narrative and for the media to fess up. If we are not going to respect the outcome of the Mueller report, then what was the point of the whole exercise? They found no collusion, and they did not charge obstruction. The cloud under which the president and his associates have lived for more than two years deserves to be lifted. The officials who launched this aborted investigation should be held accountable for their actions.
