Most have now either been fired or resigned. What both the Smollett case and the “get Trump” silent coup attempt have surfaced is a bold case of the corruption of insiders in Chicago and Washington. Revealing an elitist mentality that has those with power and influence deliberately and willfully ignoring the law in an obsessive drive to satisfy their own personal political whims — freeing Jussie Smollett in Chicago or blocking Donald Trump from the White House and then plotting to remove him once duly elected. Another insightful item by an insightful former federal prosecutor who was right in his reporting about the Mueller investigation throughout the entire saga. Another Democrat presidential candidate with a troubling background has entered the fray.  He is Pete Buttigieg the current mayor of South Bend, Indiana. One of his problems relates to the firm he worked for before being elected mayor.  It has a long history of working with corrupt Russian oligarchs. Numerous McKinsey executives have left the company and gone to work directly as lobbyists for corrupt Russian companies that are under US sanction.
