Killer Mike's Call for People to Stop Burning Down the Neighborhood, Blasts CNN for Stoking Division

Last night with the rioting and the violence in Atlanta that included an attack on the CNN, the city leadership called in well-known figures in Atlanta like rapper Killer Mike to try to dissuade people from rioting.

Killer Mike's speech was very emotional and there are some phrasing of things and maybe the "Kill our masters" shirt, which is one of his songs, wasn't the best thing to be wearing.

His pain about what seeing George Floyd killed, his advice not to burn the neighborhood down, not to riot and his advice to CNN struck a chord.

Drop everything and watch Killer Mike's speech in Atlanta tonight.

"So after you burn down your own home, what do you have left, but char and ash," he said.

Then he spoke about rioters attacking CNN. "I love CNN but I gotta say to CNN right now: Karma's a mother. Stop feeding fear and anger every day. Stop making people feel so fearful and give them hope," Killer Mike said.

"I'm glad [protestors] only took down a sign and defaced a building, and they're not killing human beings like that policeman did. I'm glad that they only destroyed some brick and mortar and they didn't rip a father from a son, they didn't rip a son from a mother, like the policeman did."
