NYT issues correction that admits the Palestinian government pays terrorist families

What a correction On Sunday the New York Times published a profile of Facebook's Campbell Brown, who heads the company's news partnerships.

In that profile, the Times proffered as an example of "Far-right conspiracy theories" stories about the Palestinian government paying the families of terrorists monetary compensation.

Yesterday, the Times issued this correction at the bottom of the article.

Correction: April 23, 2018 An earlier version of this article erroneously included a reference to Palestinian actions as an example of the sort of far-right conspiracy stories that have plagued Facebook.

Palestinian officials have acknowledged providing payments to the families of Palestinians killed while carrying out attacks on Israelis or convicted of terrorist acts and imprisoned in Israel; that is not a conspiracy theory.

To the left-wing reporters and editors at the New York Times, it is so out of their worldview that the "Oppressed" Palestinian government would ever do something like pay terrorist families that they assumed it was made up by conservatives, whom they call "Far-right." That's bias, that's not even checking, much less challenging, your own beliefs, and it's lazy.

Hannity-palooza at CNN The unending leftist assault on conservative media figures continues.
