1.  This item will likely enlighten people about one of the most divisive topics we wrestle with today.  Racism.  The progressive and political left elites are behind so much fake history it is frightening.  They do so to deflect attention away from themselves and their devious intentions. That will eventually become clear. They ply Cultural Marxism with intent to destroy harmony among the races. They ply the same tactics across a broad range of issues. This piece provides focus on the background and history that belies the hate filled distortions of facts regarding slavery which the current histories treat as a phenomenon solely the province of the American south.  Quote: "In the pseudo Marxism of Identity Politics, the white race is the villain, especially the white heterosexual male, and racial minorities, women, and homosexuals are the victims. There is, of course, no such thing as a white or black race. There are many different nationalities of whites, and they have done a good job throughout history of killing each other. But all of this goes by the wayside, along with the fact that in the world the “racial minorities” are actually majorities and the “white majority” is actually a minority. There are more Chinese or Indians alone than there are white people. But orchestrated histories are not fact-based."  

And, "The ruling elite favors a “conversation on race,” because the ruling elite know it can only result in accusations that will further divide society. Consequently, the ruling elite have funded “black history,” “women’s studies,” and “transgender dialogues,” in universities as a way to institutionalize the divisiveness that protects them. These “studies” have replaced real history with fake history. For example, it was once universally known that black slavery originated in slave wars between black African tribes. Slaves were a status symbol, but they accumulated beyond the capacity of tribes to sustain. The surplus was exported first to Arabs and then to English, Spanish, and French who founded colonies in the new world that had resources but no work force. The socialist scholar Karl Polanyi, brother of my Oxford professor Michael Polanyi, told the story of the origin of the African slave trade in his famous book, Dahomey and the Slave Trade. The first slaves in the new world were white. When real history was taught, this was widely understood. Movies were even made that showed that in King George III’s England, the alternative to criminal punishment was to be sold as a slave in the colonies." 

And, "Slavery had existed for many centuries prior to the Confederacy. Yet, in some accounts today one comes away with the impression that the South invented slavery. As the tale sometimes goes, Southern racists so hated blacks that they went to Africa, captured blacks at great expense, only to return them to the South where they whipped and abused their investments to the point of death and demoralized their work force by breaking up black families, selling children in one direction and wives and husbands in the other. This tale is not told as an occasional abuse but as the general practice. Economically, of course, it makes no sense whatsoever. 2.   This paragraph expands the discussion of the history of the Democrat party's opposition to improving the lives of black Americans.  They have worked long and hard to rewrite and propound history that erases their dismal record so they can claim people other than them are the ones who are racist. And, they do it all the time. Their obvious purposes are as follows: The Democrat party has a terrible history of racism. They accuse others for their own racism to deflect attention away from their ugly history.  They were the party of the KKK. They founded it.  It served as their enforcement arm much like Antifa and Black Lives do for them today. They were the party that fought against the Civil Rights Act.  The Republican party was the one that pushed it through Congress. It was the Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, who signed the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the slaves.  Democrat president Woodrow Wilson segregated the federal government which had been integrated since the end of the Civil War.  He premiered the racist movie "Birth of a Nation" at the White House.  It glorified the KKK.  Although he was well known to be a racist for political purposes Democrat president LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act into law.  A law he called the "nigger law."  History reveals that the Republican Party was formed in 1854 to abolish slavery and initiated laws beneficial to blacks but which were opposed by the Democrats.   https://twg2a.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/the-abhorrent-history-of-racism-within-the-democrat-party   The following facts are derived from Congressional records which show that Democrats were opposed to passing the following laws introduced by Republicans to achieve civil rights for African Americans:

And during the 60’s many Democrats fought hard to defeat the
1964 Civil Rights Act
1965 Voting Rights Acts
1972 Equal Employment Opportunity Act
Court records show that it was the Democrats that supported the Dredd Scott Decision. The decision classified Blacks as property rather than people. It was also the racist Jim Crow practices initiated by Democrats that brought about the two landmark cases of Plessy v Ferguson and Brown v. The Board of Education.

3.  This is an outcome of the kinds of policy thinkers who worship at the altar of government and who fill the ranks of the political left Democrats and Republicans in name only on the right.  They forsake their souls to the almighty authority of government.  That is dangerous to the extreme.  Governments are manmade secular institutions and have no inherent morality or legitimate authority over anything or anyone.  Governments are not God nor do they have godlike characteristics.  This dangerous trend is discussed in the link wherein the author reveals that, " In a new paper, psychology researchers crunched the numbers — and found that better government services were in fact linked to lower levels of strong religious beliefs. Those findings held true in states across the U.S. and in countries around the world, researchers said. The article is entitled, “Religion as an Exchange System: The Interchangeability of God and Government in a Provider Role,” was published April 12 in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin." 

It is clear to me that those involved in the study are progressive socialists as well as atheistic. Their innate orientations rendered clearly biased findings.  In effect they believe man can be god-like with fallible humans in government assuming the responsibility for establishing moral, ethical and spiritual standards for a given society. Believing that would have a happy ending is highly improbable given that humans are not anywhere close to being reliably honest, ethical or moral beings. Rarely in history have autocrats been good stewards of their charges.  Our own dysfunctional government routinely proves it is incapable of performing efficient or effective civil governance over even the most mundane of challenges.  How, then, can we reasonably expect it could become the fount of moral, ethical and spiritual matters???   History proves that when government assumes all power it becomes authoritarian, tyrannical and the people fall victim to the whims of the most powerful in charge. While the elite fare well in such circumstances inevitably things do not go well for the masses. Eventually the elite run out of money and resources they extract from their oppressed masses.
