Common Core Education Is Bad Education And Full Of Government Propaganda

The concept of national education standards for education has been around for ever.  It is a bad idea and frankly is blatantly unconstitutional.  Nowhere in the Constitution does the federal government have any role to play in education.  Nonetheless, it has dabbled in education for many years and is increasingly attempting to impose its will on the states. For example George W. Bush's "No Child Left Behind" and Obama's "Race To The Top".  Although in the making for some time the Obama administration has agressively pushed the concept of "Common Core".  The linked article provides a good introduction to Common Core and should frighten anyone who believes that comprehensive/quality education is important for all of American's children.  Note the brute way its advocates treat those who disagree.  Their tactic is a common one associated with those who adhere to the "Progressive" way of thinking.  In other words - do what we tell you -we are smarter than you and know what's best - now shut up and sit down!  We have a program to implement whether you want it or not (Kind of reminds you of how Obamacare was made into law and is now being imposed on an unhappy public, doesn't it.).   http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/09/maryland-parent-robert-small-arrested-for-challenging-common-core/    I will be sharing more on this topic in the future.  For now read this item and be sure to read the links, too.  Parents and grandparents need to get educated and take appropriate action to ensure their children/grandchildren are not indoctrinated by Government sponsored propaganda, a subtle but distinct component of Common Core.   If this topic concerns you please share this information with everyone you know, especially those with children.
