Worthwhile Things To Think About 2

Some people think they have a handle on things and everyone else needs to not only pay attention to them but also do what they say.  This is one such example. Quote: This person demonstrates his rank Democrat partisanship with these comments. "Standing in the way of reforms to our nonsensical, undemocratic electoral college system for electing the president helps the Republicans too, as does ensuring the United States remains the only country in the entire world that holds its critical national elections on a regular working Tuesday as if we literally couldn’t care less who is able take off work to cast a ballot. Indeed, one has to grudgingly respect the single-mindedness with which the Republican party has pursued its advantage, even as we condemn the damage it has wreaked on our democracy."  Aside from his irresponsible self serving comments, the point is that he either does not understand the vital role the electoral college plays in assuring fair presidential elections or he knows full well its purpose but realizes it does not give advantage to Democrats.  He would like to see the electoral college gone because it would mean Democrat votes cast California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois and selected large cities mostly on the east and west coasts would always win presidential elections.  Presidential campaigns would only take place in these bastions of Democrat control. The rest of the country would be ignored. The electoral college gives less populated and rural states a voice in the process.  Otherwise big cities would dominate all political decisions.  That is by design - the founders were far smarter and ethical than our current crop of entitled Democrats.  Otherwise big cities would dominate political decisions.  If that were to happen Democrats would rule from now on. Perhaps this comment will help people understand the disdain Democrats have for the rest of the country which does not adhere to Democrat political objectives. This is just one example of many, many more I could share that suggests the atheists, hedonists, socialists, progressives, liberals, LBGTs, etc. in our midst are discombobulated/irrational/irresponsible to no end.  When hate fills one's heart nothing good results.  This effort by a hateful person towards a Christian teacher resulted in her dismissal.  When one reveals their Christian beliefs these people get on the war path.  Christians are not permitted to share their thoughts but people with hate in their hearts insist we accept them and what they say and do no matter our feelings about their misguided lives. It almost seems as if the political leftist/Democrats are dead set on destroying the sovereignty of the United States. They are fighting tooth and nail to prevent the upcoming census from asking if people are citizens or not.
