It appears that the political left has decided that Sequester cuts were at least partially responsible for the bombing disaster at the Boston Marathon.  The first link below summarizes some of that discussion.  Seems to me that the argument being made is an effort to blame the problem on Republicans.  It is true that the Republicans went along with the President and his team to implement Sequester.  So did the Democrats.  Not only is their claim specious it is highly unlikely that Sequester had anything at all to do with the disaster.  But I would add to the discussion: why is it that the President cut by almost half the funding for domestic bombing prevention? (See the second link) Any effort to shift blaim onto the Republicans is an obvious political stunt and is beneath the dignity of anyone (Democrat or Republican) serving in public office.  This is just another outward sign of the cancer which has infected our entire government.  Big, I mean BIG, changes are needed if this sort of childish behavior is to be replaced by behaviors REAL statesmen would exhibit.  George Burns
