John Strand, a January 6 defendant has been convicted on all charges by a D.C. jury and faces up to 24 years in prison.
- The following statement was provided by America's Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) in response to Strand's verdict:
- A guilty verdict was handed down by a federal jury in Washington, DC. on September 19, 2022 on charges related to January 6th, 2021.
- Strand and Dr. Simone Gold were co-defendants in the same indictment, and both were offered plea deals, but neither took them due to conflict of interest.

- It is a constitutional violation to target and prosecute and punish certain groups of people and not others for similar actions when you are choosing who to prosecute based on your desire to isolate and silence and, you know, destroy them based on their political affiliation or opinion
- Mr. Strand valiantly represented all of these defendants and all Americans by standing up in Court and speaking truth to power
