Advertisers are suspending campaigns and pulling promotions from Twitter because their advertisements are ending up displayed alongside Tweets soliciting child sex abuse material
- Dyson, Mazda, and Ecolab have already suspended or pulled ads or campaigns
- At least 30 other brands, including Disney, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Coca-Cola, have been featured on Twitter profiles that push links to sexually exploitative material
Twitter's Child Sexual Abuse Problem
- Eliza Bleu, a Human Events contributor and human trafficking survivor advocate has drawn public attention to Twitter’s repeated severe mishandling of child sexual abuse material posted on the platform.
- She says that if advertisers have any compassion for children or other vulnerable populations, they should pull their ads from Twitter immediately.
