Florida is in the midst of a recount that is showing Third World potentates that they have nothing to fear from elections so long as they follow Stalin's dictum, "It's not the people who vote that count, it's the people who count the votes."
Three races in Florida are undergoing a recount: senator, governor, and agriculture commissioner.
The catch is that if a county misses the 3 p.m. deadline for reporting, then their machine recount tallies are invalidated and the election night total become official.
Much to everyone's surprise, Broward County finished its machine recount with time to spare.
Further north, in Hillborough County, also a Democrat stronghold, the machine recount gave Rick Scott 140 votes.
Palm Beach County is due to report its machine recount numbers in 33 minutes.
Regardless of these shenanigans, it looks like Ron DeSantis will be certified the winner of the election on November 20, and it seems more and more likely that Rick Scott will hold onto his lead and become the next senator from Florida.

Broward County Election Recount Finished, Then Invalidated
So in the flurry to get the state-mandated machine recounts finished by today's hard deadline the Broward County Office of Elections had staff working overnight and throughout the day to make it to today's 3:00 deadline.
Reports came in that Broward County had completed the recount well before the cutoff.
The Broward County SOE has been a controversial figure for years.
The reports were that the submission was not made in time and, as required by state election law, the prior totals would stand as official.
So how did this happen? Well, despite news reports that Broward Elections had finished well ahead of the deadline, the announcement came down that Broward had submitted their totals to Tallahassee too late - TWO MINUTES after the 3:00 pm deadline.
"We uploaded to the state two minutes late so the state has chosen not to use our machine recount results."
So just as the State - and to a greater extent, the nation - breathed a sigh of surprised relief that a protracted nightmare may have been averted, Brenda Snipes and her Broward County cohorts managed to snatch failure from the jaws of competency.
