While I agree with Trump's disagreement of the birthright provision in the 14th Amendment.  I do not agree with his proposed remedy.  Doing so would be to copy the model used by Obama. He proposes to end the birthright provision of the 14th Amendment by executive order (EO). That is not Constitutional as the Supreme Court has ruled on Obama DACA's EO. It was not originally intended, I think, as an open invitation for anyone else but has long been applied that way.  Either the court needs to resolve the matter or Congress needs to proceed to clarifying the language.
