I do not care much for Republican Senator Susan Collins but I totally support her in this case.  She recounts efforts on the part of Democrat operatives to bribe her to cast a vote against Brett Kavanaugh for a seat on the Supreme Court. She refused and rightfully called them out for their unethical attempts.  Quote: "I consider this quid pro quo fundraising to be the equivalent of an attempt to bribe me to vote against Judge Kavanaugh,” Collins said in a statement to Newsmax. “If I vote against him, the money is refunded to the donors. It is interesting how vile and truly ugly and hateful the political left can be but if we lift a finger to criticize them or their icons we get lambasted for being uncivil and disrespectful.  That very behavior is a life style for the political left against anyone that supports Trump, is a member of Trump's family or a Republican, conservative or Christian. That is because they truly believe they know they are right with anything they say and joyfully impugn or attack those who they think are fair targets for vicious charges and that includes anyone who does not agree with them.  I catch snippets of discussions now and again but cannot watch or listen to them more than 30-45 seconds or so when they get going with one of their baseless rants.

Trump did the right thing here.  The US and other countries have been trying for many years to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.  Israel has given up land and signed multiple treaties between the two with the Palestinian leadership breaking every one of them. Giving them money that they are suppose to use to support their population is a fruitless effort.  They continue their terrorists operations against Israel unabated.  Maybe when the free money stops flowing they will behave like adults rather than the terrorists they are.
