Questions About The "Stellar" June Jobs Report

That outlook would seem to be askew of the recent employment report for June from the Bureau of Labor Statistics last week.

That report showed an increase in employment of 224,000 jobs.

Well, I have a few questions for you to ponder concerning to the latest employment report which may actually support the Fed's case for rate cuts.

These questions are also important to your investment outlook as there is a high correlation between employment, economic growth, and not surprisingly, corporate profitability.

The current annual rate of employment growth is 1.5%, which is lower than any previous employment level prior to a recession in history.

Question: If 1/3rd of the working-age population simply isn't counted, and the birth-death adjustment inflates the employment roles, just how accurate is the employment data?

"But there's even more cause for concern. Months from now, the Establishment Survey will undergo its annual retrospective benchmark revision, based almost entirely on the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages conducted by the Labor Department. That's because the QCEW is not just a sample-based survey, but a census that counts jobs at every establishment, meaning that the data are definitive but take time to collect."

The ICE Raids Are Coming

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are set to begin conducting raids of thousands of illegal immigrants across the U.S. beginning Sunday, The New York Times reports, just weeks after President Trump delayed the operation to give Congress time to develop a bipartisan solution to the border crisis.

At least 2,000 immigrants who have already been given deportation orders will be targeted, according to the report, but "Collateral" deportations may also occur.

The raids, which will be conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement over multiple days, will include "Collateral" deportations, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the preliminary stage of the operation.

In those deportations, the authorities might detain immigrants who happened to be on the scene, even though they were not targets of the raids.

The raids are reportedly scheduled to take place in at least 10 major U.S. cities.

June's raid was expected to target Chicago, Baltimore, New York, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and more.

Trump warned last month if Congress couldn't find a solution to the immigration crisis the deportations would begin.

Here's why Hillary Clinton can still be charged and imprisoned for her misuse of classified emails

Earlier this week, Tom Fitton, the president of government watchdog organization Judicial Watch - which has been doing yeoman's work exposing the various aspects of "Spygate" - implored Attorney General William Barr to reopen the case into former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's criminal abuse of classified emails.

"Even worse, the testimony suggests Clinton's Benghazi emails were under-classified to protect Hillary Clinton," he added.

"Attorney General Barr needs to prioritize reopening the Clinton email investigation."

Again, knowing what we know now regarding Comey's role in ensuring that Clinton would be exonerated, it's not beyond the pale of reason to expect that there are possibly thousands of other emails she sent through her home-brew unsecured server that were classified.

Recall, too, that the former lead counsel for the FBI told congressional investigators that he was of the mindset that Clinton should have faced charges for criminal mishandling of classified emails.

Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.

In her testimony to lawmakers last year, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page said the Obama Justice Department blocked the FBI from charging Clinton with "Gross negligence."

Sex, Lies, and Epstein/Clinton Flight Logs

One can almost see Bill Clinton stepping up to the microphone in full dudgeon to say something like, "I did not have sex with any underage sex slaves on that man's, Mr. Epstein's, island on the 26 occasions I didn't fly with him." His spokespeople quickly responded to any suggestions Bill Clinton, poster child for celibacy, partook of any of accused billionaire pedophile, more salacious offerings of in-flight and ground-level entertainment.

Team Clinton insisted that Bill flew only four times in Mr. Epstein's very friendly skies, stopping short of the suggestion that in any event they only discussed golf and grandchildren as Bill supposedly did when he met with AG Loretta Lynch to not discuss the investigation of Hillary Rodham Clinton for playing fast and loose with classified emails on a private server.

Who first broke the Epstein story back in 2010, says the figure isn't accurate, claiming that Clinton was a guest on Epstein's planes many more times over a longer period.

"I know from the pilot logs and these are pilot logs that you know were written by different pilots and at different times that Clinton went, he was a guest of Epstein's 27 times," she said, adding that "Many of those times Clinton had his Secret Service with him and many times he did not."

"I actually attempted to interview Clinton but he did not agree to do so and I know from the pilot logs and these are pilot logs that you know were written by different pilots and at different times, that Clinton went, he was a guest of Epstein's 27 times."

Clinton may have to fess up again as earlier Epstein court documents are revealed and Epstein nears a possible 45-year prison sentence for his sex trafficking adventures.

"First of all, Gerald Lefcourt, who was one of Epstein's attorneys back during the original arrest and the original investigation, wrote a letter which has been made public... In that letter, Gerald Lefcourt claims that Epstein was one of the original funders of Clinton Global Initiative. He gave President Clinton four million dollars, according to a source who knows a story about that."

U.S. Justice Department trying to quash Mueller team testimony -report

The Justice Department is trying to prevent two former members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team from testifying behind closed doors as Mueller prepares for a public appearance before lawmakers next week, the New York Times reported on Wednesday.

A person familiar with the matter told Reuters the former Mueller team members were in negotiations to testify before the two panels behind closed doors.

Mueller is to testify in open session before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees on July 17.

The Judiciary Committee will meet privately later on Wednesday to discuss details of conducting the Mueller hearing and his aides' testimony, Democrats on the panel said.

U.S. Representative Adam Schiff, who leads the intelligence panel, said he expected the special counsel's office to live up to the agreements for Mueller and his aides to testify.

Mueller issued a report in April that found Russia had interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and that Republican President Donald Trump's campaign team had multiple contacts with Russian officials.

Trump has regularly denounced the Mueller investigation and related probes as politically motivated and did so again in a Twitter post on Wednesday by saying, "The Dems Witch Hunt continues!".

How the US Justice System Can Put You in Jail Forever...When You're Innocent

There are borderline cases, involving something called "Severance." A single incident may violate more than one law.

The practice of over-charging puts pressure on those accused to accede to plea bargains, even when the accused is innocent of any crime at all.

Of course, the crime is serious and deserves punishment, but in both cases, the prosecutors had ulterior motives.

The same principle applies in the case of families who have paid bribes to college officials in hopes of obtaining college admissions for their children.

Perhaps the worst case of persecution of known innocent defendants involves former special counsel Robert Mueller, who investigated President Trump.

Mueller not only knew early on that Trump was innocent of all the criminal accusations leveled against him, but ignored credible allegations of even worse crimes by Hillary Clinton.

In the Whitey Bulger case, Mueller withheld exculpatory evidence that would have freed four innocent men, two of whom died in prison.

German Prosecutor: Rule of Law in Berlin 'No Longer Functional'

German prosecutor Ralph Knispel has claimed that courts in the German capital are so overburdened, they lack the capacity to carry out litigation against suspects.

In Berlin alone, there are an estimated 8,500 arrest warrants yet to be carried out, according to Knispel who said that the criminal scene in the city is "Laughing at the justice system", German news magazine Focus reports.

Knispel made his claims on a German television programme, adding that lack of resources meant that things like DNA tests could take anywhere from two to three years to be analysed due to a lack of trained staff and resources.

Another problem is the number of judges in Berlin who will be retiring in the coming years.

German politicians have called for a crackdown on far-right extremism following the murder of Lübcke, with former CDU General-Secretary Peter Tauber calling for the government to strip basic rights of free speech, freedom of the press, and property rights to far-right extremists.

Another major issue for Berlin police has been the influence of Arab clan criminal gangs who are said to extort and threaten police officers who try and investigate their illegal activities spreading rumours of sexual impropriety with prostitutes and other threats.

Leaked audio from 2017 revealed that at least one instructor in the Berlin police academy was concerned about infiltration by relatives of Arab clans and had concerns over others from migrant backgrounds who acted inappropriately and even threatened other officers.
