By Settling With Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, the DOJ Sends a Message

Who better to serve as test cases than Peter Strzok and Lisa Page? When I last checked in with the lovebirds last year, they were doing pretty well.

Despite being fired from the FBI, the disgraced former agent got a book deal, "Compromised: Counterintelligence and the Threat of Donald J. Trump" as well as co-hosting a podcast with 'Mueller, She Wrote's Allison Gill and scoring an adjunct professorship at Georgetown University.

Strzok and fellow agent Lisa Page, with whom he had an affair, are suing for wrongful termination from the FBI, and they've been fighting to depose former President Trump.

Their former boss, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe secured a settlement for his benefits including back pay from the Biden Justice Department.

There's little doubt that Attorney General Merrick Garland will eventually arrange for a settlement as a reward for Strzok and Page.

The Justice Department has reached its expected settlement via a tentative agreement.

The messaging is pretty clear to any DOJ or FBI figures.

Editor's Commentary: I bring to your attention yet another instance of injustice and preferential treatment within the depths of our very own Department of Justice. In their seemingly endless quest to protect their own, the DOJ has once again sent a clear and disturbing message: if you're part of the liberal elite, the rules simply don't apply to you.

You may recall the names Peter Strzok and Lisa Page from their involvement in the disgraceful attempt to overthrow our duly elected President, Donald J. Trump, in the Russia collusion hoax. Well, my friends, these two individuals have just been let off the hook, settling with the DOJ and walking away with their pensions and their freedom intact.

Let's be clear about who we're dealing with here. Peter Strzok, a former FBI agent, was caught red-handed attempting to influence the 2016 presidential election through his biased and inappropriate text messages with Lisa Page, an FBI lawyer. Their exchanges were not only an insult to the office of the President but also a direct attack on the very foundation of our democratic process.

And what was their punishment for this egregious abuse of power? A gentle slap on the wrist and a quiet retirement. While everyday Americans struggle to make ends meet and face the consequences of their actions, these so-called 'public servants' are living out their days in comfort and impunity.

But let me be perfectly clear: this settlement is not just an insult to our sense of justice, it is a threat to the very fabric of our nation. It sends a message to those in power that they are above the law, that their actions will not be scrutinized or punished. It erodes the trust between the people and their government, and it undermines the very principles of equality and fairness that our great nation was built upon.

We cannot stand idly by and let this injustice prevail. We must demand accountability and transparency from our institutions. We must remind those in power that they are servants of the people, and that their actions have consequences. We must send a clear message that we, the people, will not be taken for granted, and that we will hold them accountable for their actions.

In the face of such blatant bias and corruption, it is up to us, the patriotic Americans, to stand up for what is right. We must expose the truth, shine a light on the darkness, and restore faith in our justice system. We cannot allow the liberal elite to believe that they are untouchable, that they can break the rules and trample on our freedoms without repercussions.

Let this settlement serve as a call to action. Let it fuel our determination to root out corruption wherever it may hide. Let it remind us of the importance of speaking truth to power and holding our leaders to the highest standards. We, the people, have the power to demand better, and we will not rest until justice is truly served.

Let us remember the words of our founding fathers, who declared that all men are created equal, and that justice is a right bestowed upon every American. We must never waver in our commitment to these ideals, even in the face of great adversity. It is our duty to ensure that justice is blind, that it treats the powerful and the powerless alike.

Let us stand united against injustice, let us raise our voices against corruption, and let us work tirelessly to ensure that the principles of liberty and equality prevail.
