Almost 3M Noncitizens Could Vote Illegally In U.S. Election, Study

From our desk: A recent study has revealed an alarming finding: almost 3 million non-citizens could potentially vote illegally in US elections. This is a direct threat to the foundation of our democracy and the principle of 'one person, one vote'.

Every illegal vote dilutes the power of legal votes, and undermines the very core of our nation. It is the sacred right of American citizens to choose their leaders, and we must ensure that this right is protected and preserved. We cannot allow the voices of illegal voters to silence the will of the American people.

It is time for us to take a stand and demand action from our leaders. We must secure our elections, enforce voter ID laws, and ensure that only eligible, legal citizens are able to cast their ballots.

Let us remember the words of our founding fathers, who declared that 'all men are created equal'. It is our duty to ensure that this equality is upheld, and that the integrity of our elections remains intact. We must not allow illegal voting to threaten the very fabric of our great nation.

Almost 3M Noncitizens Could Vote Illegally In U.S. Election, Study

Around 10% to 27% of noncitizens living in the United States are illicitly registered to vote, which could see up to 2.7 million illegal votes being cast in the November presidential election.

"Given their voter registration rates, this means that about 2 million to 5 million of them are illegally registered to vote," the report observes.

"[T]he problem is, states aren't doing very much to verify citizenship, so it's extremely easy for someone who's not a citizen to register to vote and to vote in elections," he remarked during Monday's edition of "Washington Watch."

"[B]ased on the latest available data, approximately 1 million to 2.7 million noncitizens are going to vote in the upcoming presidential election unless something changes.

Every time an alien illegally votes, that alien is voiding, negating the vote of a citizen, no matter which political party they support," he contended.

"According to the best data we have, about 80% of them will vote for Democrats when they vote illegally."

Earlier this month, House Republicans attempted to address the issue by introducing a bill that would require proof of citizenship to register to vote and would remove noncitizens from existing voter rolls.
