The Lying Devil’s Cult of Global Warming

Discussions about the Bible and Christianity are challenging nowadays, with many people holding onto pet doctrines that fit their lifestyles or were passed down through their families. Openly committed Christians who invite people into a relationship with Jesus Christ are rare and often unpopular. However, Jesus knew that the world's climactic unrest would center around Israel, as it has throughout history.

In recent years, America and the Earth have experienced 'warning shots' fired across our bow by the God who made us. Disasters, social upheaval, unbridled mass hatred, volcanoes, wars, famine, pestilence, earthquakes, and other calamities serve as wake-up calls from our creator. These events are meant to prevent us from perishing outside of Jesus' saving covenant, which guarantees salvation for trusting believers.

The devil works to keep mankind rebellious, sinful, separated, generally dissatisfied, ignorant, and distracted from the opportunity for forgiveness and eternal salvation. God's words of instruction in the Bible are a spiritual compendium necessary for our education. The rousing caveats mentioned above are commonplace and easily identifiable when we dare to open our Bibles.

On the other side of the grave, there is a black chasm that we must navigate after our last breaths on this planet. God wants each of us to wake up and prepare for that crossing, while the devil wants us frightened, confused, and distracted. The origin of mankind and our world is right there in Genesis, and science complements that explanation.

My own background is not in a Bible-pounding Christian home, but I found Jesus after college. I have been in 'basic training' as a 'cult fighter' for over 50 years, specializing in comparative religious research and cult-related apologetics. False religion, specifically cults, base themselves upon lies and don't like close scrutiny.

The television/internet has captured the minds of millions of Americans, discouraging individual thinking and promoting cultist attitudes. The very real devil uses all sorts of vehicles and packaging to proliferate his lies, keeping people hypnotized and far from the truth of God.

The current catastrophes we are witnessing and experiencing are aligned with what the prophets of the Old Testament, the apostles, and Jesus warned us about in sacred writings. However, the tv/internet is being used by the devil to convince us that our weather-related problems are entirely attributable to the cult of "global warming."

When a lie is told often enough, it becomes truth. The lie of "Global Warming" keeps gullible people frightened, distracted, and looking to human government for solutions rather than seeking the heart of Almighty God. Instead, daily, there are lots more compounding lies circulating which are obviously invented to support the notion that a cataclysmic warming phenomenon will inevitably wipe out all life on planet Earth.

People are often kept looking at distractions having little or nothing to do with the truth of God's waning patience toward a self-centered people that has completely turned its back on Him. We are on the cusp of an insanely selfish world battling amongst itself over who will ultimately take control over everything and everyone.

Recently, the Washington Post published an article entitled, "Doing your own research is a good way to end up being wrong." This notion is similar to 'fact checkers' who claim their sources and opinions are more worthy and accurate than ours. However, the Bible tells us to test all things carefully and hold firmly to what is good.

Formerly sentient humans who do not conduct their own research, who relegate their minds to merely serve as receptors of entertainment, who ignore the truth on every level while blindly following the lies and misinformation laid before them by liars and hypocrites, and subsequently live in constant fear, are conditioned and doomed to slavery or worse.
