Europe Braces for Cold Winter in Wake of Ukraine War
Russia’s state-owned energy giant Gazprom announced that it would be unable to resume shipments of natural gas to Germany through the Nord Stream 1. Just hours before it was scheduled to restart deliveries, Gazprom stated on social media that it was critical to repair “malfunctions” of the major pipeline. However, this has many market observers fearful of a severe energy shortage this winter, even with more European Union members gradually increasing their inventories.
Tactical Shutdown? Observers suspect that the closure of the pipeline is more tactical than technical. Increasing pressure on European nations via major price hikes may be part of a prolonged campaign to build anti-Ukraine sentiment.

Inundation: Texas Border Sectors Nabbed 117K Migrants in August
“Border Patrol agents in the five Texas-based sectors apprehended nearly 117,000 migrants in August, according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection,” Breitbart reports. “Agents assigned to the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Del Rio, Big Bend, and El Paso Sectors apprehended approximately 65 percent of the total number of migrants taken into custody along the southwest border with Mexico in August, the source revealed. The five Texas-based border sectors accounted for nearly 117,000 of the more than 181,000 apprehended. This represents just under 3,800 migrants per day being apprehended in the Texas-based sectors,” the news site writes.
Coming in Waves: “Since the beginning of the current fiscal year, which began on October 1, 2021, agents in these sectors apprehended a total of 1.25 million migrants.” Horrific tragedy thrives in chaotic environment…
Trump: Fox News Is Backing Democrats, CNN Should Turn Conservative
“Former President Trump on Sunday accused Fox News of pushing a Democratic agenda while offering to help rival network CNN become a ‘gold mine’ by going conservative,” The Hill reports. “‘Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social. ‘Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed,’” the news site details.
