Many Americans, mostly in the center and right, believe they are treated unfairly by the media and the law.

A recent poll suggests that America is turning toward a two-tiered system of justice based on politics and beliefs

• 63% strongly agree, 28% somewhat agree, and 17% disagree
• People who hold your political/religious/cultural ideas, beliefs and values receive equal treatment in America for each of three major institutions in American life
• The media, social media, and under the law
• 62% of Democrats agree that their views are treated equally by the media, 29% of Republicans and 33% of independents disagree

The discrepant treatment of the Jan. 6 rioters and the BLM and Antifa rioters is another factor.

• The invaders of the Capitol building have been held for over a year and in some cases allegedly seriously mistreated while the Antifa and BLM rioters were lauded by the left for trashing dozens of cities around the country during the summer of 2020.

Mainstream media bias and bias

• 62% of Americans say “fake news” and media bias are problems and growing worse.
• Daily left-wing bias in major outlets no longer even pretend to be fair or strive to be objective in their coverage
• Social media censors anyone who disagrees with the left on climate change, LGBTQ issues, woke speech, etc.
