Trump plans to SLASH regulations to ease beef prices after rancher Glenn Beck's impassioned plea

President Donald Trump has announced plans to reduce regulations in the beef industry in response to a request from Glenn Beck, a co-founder of Blaze Media. The initiative aims to help farmers and ranchers by addressing the monopolistic control of large meat-processing companies that have been contributing to rising beef prices.

Following an interview with Glenn Beck, Trump stated his intent to deregulate the beef industry.

Beck highlighted that four major meat-processing companies are controlling prices, leading to increased costs for consumers.

Trump emphasized the need to empower farmers and ranchers to process their own livestock to combat this monopoly. He noted that many of these companies are not American and may be colluding.

The president plans to authorize legal measures that will allow farmers and ranchers to have more control over food processing.

He expressed support for America's ranchers, describing them as hard-working, efficient, and deserving of better conditions to compete with processors.

The U.S. has seen a significant rise in beef prices—approximately 37.8% over three years—due to a decline in cattle production.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins is backing the deregulation efforts, emphasizing the need for American ranchers to be able to feed the nation.

Trump’s decision to move towards deregulation in the beef industry aims to empower local farmers and reduce prices affected by a few dominant processing companies. This initiative is expected to proceed quickly, with the administration actively working on measures to support farmers.
