Stephen Miller Spits FIRE at Press Conference, Gives Incredible Case Against Amazon for “Clear Attempt to Try to Undermine Trade Negotiations” and Letting China Steal Intellectual Property

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller made strong comments during a press conference, criticizing Amazon for a plan to show tariff costs on their website and for allegedly supporting liberal states and Communist China. He spoke alongside White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about the Trump administration's agenda in the first 100 days. At one point, he addressed the media's support for illegal immigration in response to a question about a deported MS-13 member. Miller condemned the media's portrayal of illegal aliens, claiming they failed to address the negative impacts caused by these policies.

Miller highlighted Amazon's unfair practices that he believes threaten trade negotiations with China. Following a discussion with President Trump, Amazon backtracked on its proposal to display tariff costs after facing significant backlash. Press Secretary Leavitt criticized Amazon's actions, labeling them as politically motivated, especially during a time of record-high inflation under the Biden administration. She noted Amazon’s association with a Chinese propaganda group as part of her argument.

After Leavitt’s remarks, Amazon's stock dropped by 2%. The company then clarified that their tariff-related proposal was not meant for their main retail site and claimed it was never approved. Following this statement, President Trump praised Bezos for changing his mind after their conversation.

In response to a reporter challenging the narrative of Amazon's plans being political, Miller pointed out the hypocrisy of not including California's costly regulations in pricing transparency. He stated that products made in California are burdened with higher costs due to regulations that affect healthcare, labor, and subsidies for illegal immigrants. He argued that Amazon should disclose additional costs consumers bear when purchasing goods from California compared to other states.

Miller also called out Amazon for selling cheap knockoff products from China that infringe on American intellectual property, emphasizing that this is a significant problem. Leavitt mentioned earlier that Amazon's consideration of displaying tariff costs was expected given its partnership with a Chinese propaganda entity.

Miller defended the need for labeling issues on Amazon, asserting that the focus should be on preventing the undercutting of American consumers. The recap included a brief mention of Jordan Conradson, the reporter who has previously reported on election fraud in Arizona and is now covering the news in Washington, D. C. The report concluded without further commentary or additional details from other news segments.
