Arkansas Voter Integrity Initiative Presents Elite Panel for Upcoming Vote Tabulation Debate LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, August 10, 2023 - The Arkansas Voter Integrity Initiative has announced an unprecedented lineup of renowned election security experts set to testify at the forthcoming hearing on the contentious use of barcodes in vote tabulation.
Scheduled for Monday, September 11th at 9:30am in the sixth judicial district courtroom of Hon.
Tim Fox, the hearing will delve into the intricacies of voting computer functionalities and the vulnerabilities linked with barcodes on ballot summary cards generated by the ES&S touchscreen voting machines.
The expert panel includes: - Dr. Andrew Appel, Eugene Higgins Professor of Computer Science, Department of Computer Science, Princeton University - Dr. Doug Jones, Associate Professor Emeritus, The University of Iowa, Department of Computer Science - Dr. Philip Stark, the creator of the risk limiting audit, Distinguished Professor of Statistics, University of California, Berkeley The latter two will be present in person to shed light on this crucial matter.
