Karl Rove's super PAC, American Crossroads, paid for an advertisement supporting Josh Shapiro, who is facing off against the America-First, Trump-endorsed Republican nominee, state Sen. Doug Mastriano.
- Rove's anti-Republican tactic is a "disgrace," suggesting "the Establishment backstab is in full swing."
- This is not the first instance of GOP establishment swamp figures supporting and fundraising for Shapiro instead of Mastariano.
- A Bush advisor and long-time GOP strategist has begun supporting the far-Left Democrat gubernatorial nominee in Pennsylvania. Karl Rove's super PAC, American Crossroads, paid for an advertisement supporting Josh Shapiro, who is facing off against the America-First, Trump-endorsed Republican nominee, state Sen. Doug Mastriano. In 2016, Rove's PAC helped establish the Senate Leadership Fund to boost Republican Senate candidates depending on McConnell's recommendation, reported the Wall Street Journal. Rove's recent Pennsylvania advertisement was constructed to confuse voters and make them believe the Democrat Shapiro is running against the PA Democrat U.S. Senate candidate, John Fetterman. Shapiro is currently the Pennsylvania attorney general and served in the state's House of Representatives for 7 years. "Fetterman is way more radical than Shapiro," a third voter exclaimed. The Democrat Senate candidate, John Fetterman, has been criticized extensively over his poor appearance in a recent debate.
