- The delays would be attributed to poll workers not being able to pre-canvas or count mail-in ballots prior to election day.
- Chapman encouraged voters to go ahead and send in their ballots, contrary to Republican messaging which urged voters to hold onto their ballots
- There have been reports of threats aimed at the voting process throughout the state
Since taking office, Chapman has met with the FBI and Homeland Security to talk about the current threat landscape
- She has also been in constant communication with the Pennsylvania State Police regarding the use of cyber security measures that have been put in place in response to the COVID pandemic
