In January 2015 NASA and NOAA announced with fanfare that according to their calculations 2014 was the warmest year 1880.  But they just recently had to offer up a caveat to their announcement.  They forgot tell us their confidence level is a whopping "38%" that 2014 was the warmest since 1880.  I think with 90% certainty that they were trying to pull the wool over our eyes hoping no one would want to know their confidence level.  They are after all scientists and, as everyone knows, scientists never try to deceive. http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/01/global_warming_and_government_work.html

Psychiatry has been challenged a number of time for being completely if not a partially suspect science.  The criticism for its use of loose representations of mental illnesses is under attack.  Quote: "ALL SO-CALLED MENTAL DISORDERS ARE CONCOCTED, NAMED, LABELED, DESCRIBED, AND CATEGORIZED by a committee of psychiatrists, from menus of human behaviors."  And "For years, even psychiatrists have been blowing the whistle on this hazy crazy process of “research.”  Of course, pharmaceutical companies, who manufacture highly toxic drugs to treat every one of these “disorders,” are leading the charge to invent more and more mental-health categories, so they can sell more drugs and make more money."  And "Long after the DSM-IV had been put into print, Dr. Frances [its lead psychiatrist] talked to Wired’s Greenberg and said the following:  “There is no definition of a mental disorder.
