Obama’s abuse of his powers to attempt to grant pseudo-legalization to
five millions illegal aliens by executive fiat has been widely described
as being “unprecedented” in some quarters. This is inaccurate. Others
have tried to argue that reasonable precedent can be found in actions of
prior presidents, such as Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, who have
issued executive orders relating to the implementation of earlier
immigration laws. This is also false. It is difficult to find anywhere
in the history of the United States a broader assertion of the power of
the executive to make law than that asserted by Mr. Obama in this case.
That does not mean, however, that this action is wholly without
precedent in our collective political history.

Immigration Agencies Not Actually Capable of Processing 5 Million Applications

The infrastructure isn’t there to process and check all these applications. Congress won’t be allocating money for an illegal unilateral amnesty (which sets them up to be blamed for the consequences of Obama’s illegal actions) so the whole thing will be an open door for just about anyone trying to get through.

Holder: Federal Investigation 'Remains Ongoing'
Attorney General Eric Holder released this statement after news came
down that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the murder of Michael
Brown in Ferguson, Missouri:

The new Republican majority in the
Senate opens a door for a new level of scrutiny of the Federal Reserve,
the quasi-public organization that largely controls U.S. monetary policy

There’s a Giant Contradiction at the Heart of the U.S. Economy
Suppose
you told an economist these facts and only these facts: Long-term
interest rates have fallen sharply over just a few months. Prices for

Most US unemployed don't get benefits: Here's why
Even though the U.S. job market
is gaining strength, there are still a lot of unemployed Americans. Yet
only a fraction of them are receiving financial aid from the government.
Fewer than 25
percent of those out of work are signed up for weekly unemployment
benefits, a near-record low since the government began tracking this
data in 1987. That's a sharp turnaround from just after the recession,
when as many as three-quarters of those out of work received help, a

The drop
counters a common assumption that most of those out of work receive
unemployment benefits. It is partly a sign of an improving job market:

60% Of Households Get More Benefits Than They Pay In Taxes
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) just released its annual report on “The Distribution of Household Income and Federal Taxes [11]”
analyzing data through 2011 on American household’s: a) average “market
income” (a comprehensive measure that includes labor income, business
income, and income from capital gains), b) average household transfer
payments (payments and benefits from federal, state and local
governments including Social Security, Medicare and unemployment
insurance), and c) average federal taxes paid by households (including
income, payroll, corporate, and excise taxes).
Some additional analysis and commentary will be provided here that reveal a yet-to-be discussed major implication of the CBO report – almost the entire burden: a) of all transfer payments made to American households and b) of all non-financed government spending, falls on just one group of Americans – the top one-fifth of US households by income.
That’s correct, the CBO study shows that the bottom three income quintiles representing 60% of US households are “net recipients” (they receive more in transfer payments than they pay in federal taxes), the second-highest income quintile pays just slightly more in federal taxes ($14,800) than it receives in government transfer payments ($14,100), while the top 20% of American “net payer” households finance 100% of the transfer payments to the bottom 60%, as well as almost 100% of the tax revenue collected to run the federal government. Don’t Let Lame Ducks Spend Your Money
On November 4, voters fired the Democratic majority in the U.S.
Senate, replacing it with a GOP majority that campaigned against
Obamacare and big spending. But the Democrats who lost are still running
the show. These lame ducks lack the moral authority to govern. They
shouldn’t be allowed to do any more than the bare minimum to keep
government operating until January, when the new Congress meets.
Allowing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to ram through an omnibus
spending bill for the coming year, or make other key decisions, would be
like letting your ex-spouse keep using your checkbook. One of the first
acts of the next Congress should be to outlaw lame duck sessions.

the country does nothing. They just release them on the spot. It is
even being applied to people in prison and jails.
