that a whole bunch of Democrat constituents/operatives are among the
richest...but they talk as if they represent the poor. I am perfectly
aware that rich folks are on the Republican side too. But the Democrat
narrative is that it is only the Republicans who are wealthy and
supported by the wealthy while the Democrats are the party of the poor,
down and out... Given their history of launching policies that end up
harming the interests of the poor and middle class, such claims are
laughable.
