all common sense. They now claim that common household tools found in
almost every American household are weapons and as a consequence one
school suspended a teacher who brought some to school to teach students
their proper use. US District Judge Robert Dow, Jr. agreed with
Washington Irving Elementary School officials for defining tools as
weapons and suspending the teacher for four days. So, now little Johnny
can go home and look at daddy's tools and alert the police that his
