With the White House facing increasing flak from Republicans over
several bubbling scandals, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says
Republicans are exploiting the matters in order to tarnish a “great” and
“visionary” president.
The California Democrat told reporters Thursday that Republicans have overly hyped the 2012 Benghazi attacks, the Justice Department’s snooping of The Associated Press and the IRS scandal, among other issues, in order to distract the public from their failed economic plans.
“They will use these as, again, subterfuges, evasions of what the American people want us to do here. They want us to create jobs,” Mrs. Pelosi said during her weekly news conference at the Capitol.
