A 86-page lawsuit of the deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden, was released Monday by the two attorneys general who filed a lawsuit alleging government collusion with social media companies. The deposition contained 63 exhibits, including confidential emails and media reports
Sauer asked if Fauci was on a first-name basis with somebody at Twitter.
- "No, not at this time," he said, adding that he does not know what the First Amendment rights are associated with it
- Sauer then asked if he thought people should be allowed to post on social media opinions that might be dangerous or lead to a loss of life, to which he again said he did not know the legal implications
- He also said that the best way to counter misinformation and disinformation is to flood the system with correct information
