Another Study Confirms Myocarditis Post Jab
- Another study has revealed people who receive a COVID-19 shot are at an increased risk of myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle.
- The risk is highest among males, those aged 18 to 29 years, people who received a Moderna, and those who received two doses of the shot.
Getting a COVID-19 Shot Increases Risk of Myocarditis
- Within 21 days post-vaccination, 141 cases of myocarditis occurred
- The expected rate was 20.9 per 100,000 people who did not get the shots.
- Rates of infection were highest among males aged 18 to 29 years, people who received a Moderna or Moderna-19 shot, and those who received two doses
Myocarditis Link to COVID-19 Jabs Confirmed
- Most cases of myocarditis following COVID jabs are in males, and most of the patients (94.6%) were male and young, with a median age of 17.6 years.
- In one case, a 23-year-old man who was otherwise healthy, who experienced chest pain for three days after receiving the second dose of COVID’s shot.
- The outcomes of the patient's medical tests confirmed that he had “myocarditis,” which is a probable complication of the vaccine.
CDC, FDA Acknowledge Myocarditis Risk
- The CDC is still advising children aged 12 and older to get the jab, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted full approval August 23, 2021, to Pfizer's COVID-19 mRNA injection, now sold under the brand name Comirnaty.
British Health Agency Advises Against COVID-19 Jabs for Kids
- The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) has recommended against COVID 9 injections for healthy 12- to 15-year-olds
- There are uncertainties about the long-term implications of (myocarditis), and that makes the risk-benefit balance for these children really quite tight and much tighter than we would be comfortable to make the recommendation."
