The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday approved Governor Ron DeSantis' request to impanel a grand jury to investigate Covid vaccine manufacturers
- A statewide grand jury will be drawn from the certified jury lists submitted by the chief judges of the Fifth, Sixth, Tenth, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Judicial Circuits
- The Honorable Ronald Ficarrotta, Chief Judge in and for the 13th Judicial Circuit, will be the presiding judge of the grand jury
- John A. Tomasino, Clerk of the Supreme Court of Florida, is the deputy clerk

- DeSantis plans to petition the Supreme Court of Florida to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to Covid vaccines.
- If approved, the grand jury will likely be in the Tampa Bay area and will come with legal processes to get more information and to bring legal accountability for those who committed misconduct

- Will be a surveillance study using, working with some of our medical examiners in Florida
- Also going to be working with the University of Florida so there will be a component that has more of a research or research forum to it
