VA Gov. Spanberger's latest list of felons with restored voting rights includes a dog named 'Biscuit' and 'Betty No Last Name'

Virginia Republicans are criticizing Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger over concerns that her efforts to restore voting rights to felons are resulting in ineligible individuals, including deceased pets, being registered to vote.

• Former Delegate Nick Freitas shared an example of a dead dog named Biscuit Rigsby, who was erroneously given voting rights, including the ability to serve on a jury and possess firearms.

• Delegate Tom Garrett highlighted other questionable cases of voter registration, including certificates issued to individuals with incomplete names and to deceased relatives of constituents.

• All the suspicious letters included QR codes linking to voter registration websites.

• Garrett has called for an investigation into these actions, questioning the oversight of the Governor's constitutional authority to restore voting rights.

• Concerns were also raised about Virginia’s election integrity measures, including allowing voters to cast ballots without showing identification.

• Critics, including investigative reporter Luke Rosiak, argue that Spanberger is complicating voter processes to benefit Democrats and manipulate election outcomes.

The controversy surrounding Governor Spanberger's voter restoration efforts has led to accusations of corruption and calls for transparency and accountability in Virginia’s election procedures.
