Iran publishes propaganda letter urging US voters to punish Trump in midterm elections

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a 25-page letter to Americans urging opposition to President Donald Trump in the upcoming midterm elections. The letter expresses criticism of Trump’s administration, particularly regarding its stance on Iran and foreign policy.

The IRGC blames Trump and his support for Israel for the current state of war, encouraging voters to reject him and his policies on November 3.

Spokesman Hossein Mohebbi criticizes Trump as a “liar” driven by greed, asserting that this endangers U.S. national security.

The letter claims Trump misrepresents Iran's nuclear program and insists that the IRGC has not harmed civilians.

The IRGC asserts that the war and related economic issues are damaging the U.S. economy, despite Trump’s claims of economic prosperity.

It suggests that the U.S. economy is near collapse due to high fuel prices from the conflict, which, according to the IRGC, results from Trump’s policies.

Mohebbi disputes U.S. claims about Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that oil exports have not returned to prewar levels.

Through this letter, the IRGC seeks to sway American voters against Trump by highlighting negative impacts of his leadership, while also defending Iran’s actions and economic situation amidst ongoing conflict.
