Unseemly Media Matters 1

This note illustrates the total controlling grasp the political left has over the public organs of our country. While this note focuses on the full range of left wing mainstream media it serves to illustrates the same degree of control exercised by other institutions in our society/culture. Not only does the socialist political left control the print, over the air and social media; they control public education content K-12 through PhD levels; the biological, natural and some of the physical sciences; public school and University administrations; medical providers and drug manufacturers, financial institutions, a host of compliant crony businesses, local, state and federal governments and increasingly religious institutions. In short their control over these institutions means they control all allowable public narratives and are increasingly removing any ability for individuals to publically express themselves when disagreeing with left wing narratives. They are also increasingly forcing compliance with the cultural Marxist political correctness mandates which place offenders at risk of life, liberty and property. Unfortunately many on the political left in public office and in the private sector have already publically declared that Republicans, conservatives, objectors of climate science mandates, objectors of unnatural sexual gender mandates, sexual deviancy and more deserve to be arrested or killed for resisting their mandates.  Yet they declare themselves to be the tolerant ones. That is hardly what they are.  History proves beyond any reasonable doubt that they are following in a long line of left wing oppressive political tyrants who have created havoc in society after society and inflicted untold amounts of human death and suffering. The below contents barely touches on the misrepresentations the entirety of the political left have to this point willingly and purposfully inflicted on the American public.

Trump and the press.

It is well known that Trump is the most transparent president in history.  Still the mainstream media hates him and the Democrat socialists want him impeached. Left wing deep state operatives do not like their antics, motives, actions scrutinized because they know that most people would find them unsavory. So privacy is their preference, absolute privacy. What the people don't know is good for deep state operatives. Not so much for us. You will recall that Nancy Pelosi famously declared that we must pass Obamacare so we can see what is in it?  At the time she was Speaker of the House of Representatives. Incredible but she didn't even know what was in it. It was a program completely controlled by the Democrats socialists and because they did not want any opposition to their plan it was produced in complete secrecy. It was a disaster. A section in Sharyl Attkinsson's book "Stonewalled" provides insight as to just how disastrous.  Nancy displayed her desire for secrecy again when she told Trump in the recent White House meeting between her, Minority Leader of the Senate Schumer and Trump that they should take the discussion about the Border Wall into a private session. Trump refused because he is actually transparent.  She, Schumer and the Democrat socialists are not. The public has a right to know what our government is doing and have a legitimate voice in the proceedings. It is understood that some highly sensitive matters require secrecy but most government functions can and should be a matter that includes public involvement. Among other things public practices minimizes crony capitalist and backdoor dealings, limits the ability for corruption to occur and makes deals between political operatives transparent. Not to mention that being allowed to participate would encourage people to be more informed on matters important to them. That is a trait sorely missing in far too many of us. Democrat socialists and many Republicans do not like for us to know what they are doing for themselves and what they are doing to us. Nor do the media because they want to control the left wing narrative.  If people actually knew what is going on then their propaganda messages would not work. So, the bottom line is that Trump must go. As long as he is there they cannot control the business of government doing what they want. That is why they hate him so.

The disgusting left wing media loved Obama despite the abuse he heaved on them. They loved him because he is a hard left winger like them. To learn the facts get investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson's book, "Stonewalled", which has an entire chapter dealing with Obama's spying on the media and other illegal actions. Elsewhere in the book she chronicles Obama's extensive spying campaign conducted against her because of her investigative reporting on his misadventures, namely his Obamacare antics as well as others. His tenure in office was filled with one illegal act after another. You will also learn, as if you already did not know, just how much left wing media management controls the ability of reporters to report truthfully. You will also learn that media knew of and feared Obama and his abusive use of intelligence and investigative agencies against them. Why all this is not widely known, understood or accepted is because of left wing control of politics, media and most of our educational and cultural institutions.  

By now most people are aware that a federal Judge has ordered the White House to restore the press credentials of crude, rude and disrespectful CNN reporter Jim Acosta. The credentials were withdrawn after Trump answered several of his questions and told him to let other reporters ask questions.  He refused, kept demanding the president answer his questions and would not turn loose of the microphone even after Trump told him to give it to the intern trying to retrieve it for the next reporter. His rude and disrespectful behavior was clearly unjustified and deserved a rebuke. Subsequently the White House lifted his credentials. CNN filed a lawsuit demanding their disrespectful and unprofessional employee's credentials be returned.  The judge so ordered.  I disagree with the judge for several reasons but mainly because Jim Acosta thinks he can ask as many questions he wants and deny fellow reporters a chance to ask theirs.  He has many times harassed both Trump and Press Secretary Sarah Sanders with incessant questioning and interruptions. That is a good thing.

Now consider an event that did not make the mainstream media news reports while Obama was president.  Determine for yourself which president handled a disruptive reporter in a more professional manner.
