Senate GOP unveils new health care bill

The Senate unveiled its plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare on Thursday, a bill that would cut Medicaid, eliminate penalties for people who don’t buy insurance and cut tax hikes enacted to pay for the Affordable Healthcare Act’s expanded care.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Senate had to act because Obamacare was on the verge of collapse.
“Because Obamacare isn’t working by nearly any measure, it is failed,” he said on the Senate floor.
