Release of The Senate Democrats Report of CIA Torture

This item documents a purely partisan act of retribution against the decisions of the voting public during the November elections.  The committee chair released this report in defiance of the public, pure and simple, and out of political spite.  A couple of quotes set the stage.  "The release of this report will mean that the global cooperation and teamwork we have hitherto enjoyed will now, consequently, begin to dry up.  Obama, Feinstein, and the Democrats have seen to it.  Back when Obama was first elected to office, Obama commented that he was going to have things his way, because “elections,” he said, “have consequences.”  And, "There also seems to be a validity problem with the CIA torture report that Democrats have chosen to ignore: The report convicts the CIA of wrongdoing without interviewing a single CIA operative in the process.  Dianne Feinstein has said that this is because the Justice Department was doing its own probe simultaneously, so any witnesses were unavailable.  But what Feinstein fails to mention is the fact that this report was actually completed in 2012, and there have been two years in which the witnesses have, indeed, been available for interviews."   http://eaglerising.com/12612/banquet-consequences-barack-obama-dianne-feinstein-senate-democrats-betray-america/    I am not defending the report.  I have not read it.  But I do know that acts of political gamesmanship like this should never be performed by elected officials of either party.  What it shows is that, to some of them at least, politics is more important than serving the interests of the country.
