Speaking
of Hope and Change... this lays out the foundational basis of the
progressive underpinnings of that mantra and how is was embraced by most
Democrats and some Republicans all the while aided and abetted by a
fawning mainstream media. It is a sad, sad story... the price now being
paid will not end soon. It is and will continue to be painful for our
nation for a very, very long time. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/394701/epitaph-hope-and-change-victor-davis-hanson
Using the mantra above Obama
declared that he would fundamentally transform America. He sure has
done that and then some. Here's more to add to sad story. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2014/12/how_to_fundamentally_transform_the_culture_of_america.html
The government lavishes support for illegal aliens while it fleeces the tax paying citizens. http://libertynewsnow.com/illegals-line-benefits-work-permits-obama-amnesty/article415?
This Nobel laureate economist
should withdraw from the public scene because as the author notes he is
mostly wrong with his proclamations. His use of insulting language
against anyone who disagrees with him is a typical leftist tactic when
caught being wrong. Attack the messenger when unable to attack the
message. He is an embarrassment. http://finance.townhall.com/columnists/michaelschaus/2014/12/17/stupid-is-as-krugman-does-n1932898/page/full
Millennials voted for Obama in
huge numbers. They were sucked in by his 2008 hope and change mantra.
But no more. His policies have hurt them as well as most Americans.
Quote: "In 1980, according to the Census,
14.1 percent of the total population ages 18 to 34 were living in
poverty, which is determined by the millennial’s income in the past 12
months. In 1990, the percentage of millennials in poverty increased to
14.3 percent. In 2000, it climbed to 15.3 percent. And in 2009-2013 it
reached the highest level recorded in the dataset of 19.7 percent." http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/ali-meyer/1-5-millennials-live-poverty-census-bureau-says
If that is not bad enough read
this. Quote: "The number of beneficiaries who receive compensation from
the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), otherwise known
as food stamps, has topped 46,000,000 for 37 straight months, according
to data
released by the Department of Agriculture (USDA). In September 2014,
which is the latest data from the USDA, there were 46,459,998 Americans
who received assistance from the SNAP program. The number of
beneficiaries has exceeded 46 million since September 2011, a total of
37 months, or more than three years." http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/ali-meyer/food-stamp-beneficiaries-exceed-46000000-37-straight-months
