Folks, it is time and the time is now for a Biblical fix to our economy. No not the destruction of the world but what is known as a “Debt Jubilee.” This in the Old Testament was done every 50 years. I’m not preaching (Nor do I ever) but the Bible is a source of ideas when man fails (We do that a lot). Here is Forbes Magazine’s take on it:
Here is a video presentation of a detailed explanation of how it would work. Steve Keen is an economist who thinks in the non-traditional mind set. In her opening, the moderator, of this video misrepresents his ideas but he corrects her. This is an awesome idea because nothing which is being done currently is bringing the world economy out of this downward spiral:
Folks as most of us can see, we don’t have a way out of this disaster except it seems to just create more debt through banks and government. Something major has to be done and this is a way to get it done, if done across the board with no advantages for banks to skew it in their favor. That has been the problem to this point, the banks get the advantage while leaving the rest of us to pay for it.
Just think if the people got the trillions of dollars in bailouts and were forced to pay off their debts with it, where the economy would be today. The banks and corporations got them and look at where we are.
