Hackers are hacked: WikiLeaks exposed as 'antisemitic and transphobic' in Twitter messages

A freedom of speech activist feuding with WikiLeaks has published more than 11,000 direct Twitter messages from a private group chat known as "Wikileaks +10" that reveals the organization to be anti-Semitic and "Transphobic."

The messages also showed that WikiLeaks coordinated smear campaigns against its enemies all the while piously promoting itself as working in the public interest.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange apparently controlled the direct message account.

The chat log shows WikiLeaks' private attitudes, their use of FOIA laws, as well as discussions about WikiLeaks' lobbying and attempts to "Humiliate" politicians, PR and propaganda efforts, troll operations, attempts to engineer situations where WikiLeaks would be able to sue their critics, and in some instances where WikiLeaks helped direct lawsuits filed by third parties or encouraged criminal investigations against their opponents.

No matter what you think of revelations that WikiLeaks has published about U.S. intelligence, the military, or our politicians, Assange violated the law and harmed U.S. interests.

The connection between Russian intelligence and WikiLeaks has been established by the indictment of 12 Russian agents who hacked DNC emails and passed them on to WikiLeaks for publication.

Whatever "Transparency" WikiLeaks provides the public about U.S. intelligence is more than offset by its unchecked power to destroy.

Families destroyed? Children orphaned? If only we had a Congress!

WHEN THE head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection appeared at a Washington forum the other day to discuss his agency - which was instrumental in the Trump administration's family separation debacle - the toughest moments he faced came from hecklers, one of whom shouted, "You're orphaning children! You're kidnapping children!" Setting aside those interruptions, Commissioner Kevin K. McAleenan fielded one gentle question after another, never challenged to explain CBP's role in what a federal judge has characterized as a breakdown in coordination among government agencies that has left hundreds of migrant children stripped from their parents.

The statistical fallout from that fiasco is roughly 700 children, about a third of those who were removed from their parents this spring, who remain even now in the custody of the U.S. government rather than with their families.

In most of those cases, the parents were deported before they could be reunited with their children.

As The Post's Nick Miroff, Amy Goldstein and Maria Sacchetti reported, Border Patrol agents who removed children from their parents provided files to the Department of Health and Human Services, in whose custody children were entrusted, that were "a mess." Some of the children's files included their parents' names and government-assigned numbers; others didn't.

Often the files made no mention of where the parents had been sent.

At HHS, whose Office of Refugee Resettlement bears direct responsibility for migrant children, the agency database includes no means to indicate which of them might have been snatched from their parents.

In the case of family separations, the hecklers who berated Mr. McAleenan were out of line, but their questions - specifically, about whether the U.S. government had made orphans of hundreds of children - were not.

On North Korea and Iran, Trump Is Deluding Himself

The scene comes from 2007, when the Bush administration thought it had achieved a historic breakthrough with North Korea.

The president assumed that by threatening North Korea with "Fire and fury," as he did last year, he could force Kim to surrender his atomic arsenal.

Pompeo had unmitigated scorn for the nuclear deal with Iran, negotiated by the U.S. and five other parties, which Trump renounced in May. The secretary has vowed to keep sanctions until Iran meets a long list of stringent conditions.

The administration's position on Iran, as with North Korea, is that we expect total capitulation.

That's why North Korea has invested so much time and money acquiring nuclear warheads and the missiles to carry them.

That's why Iran created the infrastructure to produce nukes.

During the Obama administration, Iran was willing to enter into an agreement requiring it to dismantle most of its nuclear centrifuges, surrender 97 percent of its enriched uranium, and accept extensive outside inspections.

Manafort on Trial: The Left Can Hope, But Don't Expect a Courtroom Full of Collusion

Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is headed for the courtroom.

Manafort's much-talked-about trial starts Tuesday, but the Left may be extremely disappointed - don't expect talk of collusion.

"The government does not intend to present at trial evidence or argument concerning collusion with the Russian government."

Devine and Manafort worked for the former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych.

The trial will focus on Manafort's employment by Yanukovych's political party, the Party of Regions, from 2005 through 2014.

Manafort blew it by not reporting his income to the IRS. Note to self - for a conservative writer.

Since Manafort's October 30th indictment, the Left has been wishing upon a star that he'd sing like a canary and throw Trump under the bus, providing that wholly elusive evidence of collusion between Moscow and Führer Trump.

9 insane court rulings on major issues in just a few days

Federal judges have filled the power vacuum left behind by impotent legislators who are obsequious to the courts and they are giving Democrats victories on immigration, election law, abortion, sexuality, religious liberty, and wage controls in a matter of a few days that they could never dream of accomplishing through the legislature.

Judge Jesse Furman on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that a lawsuit from several states against including a citizenship question on the census can proceed.

Courts now control economic policy: Courts have become the final arbiter of cultural issues and now even border and national security issues.

The court alleges that racism hides "Abashed, cloaked beneath ostensibly neutral laws and legitimate bases, steering government power toward no less invidious ends." Yes, every fiscal policy can now get standing in federal court.

The panel consisted of two Democrat-appointees to the 11th Circuit and district judge Anne Conway, a Bush appointee, who also currently sits on the FISA Court.

The Fourth Circuit has already done something similar and Justice Thomas has criticized the Supreme Court for allowing the lower courts to once again violate precedent.

Ironically, September will all be about the Supreme Court nominee but as we continue to demonstrate even Supreme Court picks don't matter much until the lower court tyranny is fixed.

Democrat controlled states are suing the federal government because it lowered the tax rate.  They do not care that the economy turned around shortly after Trump reduced tax rates for businesses and citizens went into effect and jobs started booming.  They want other people's money for THEIR use.  Quote: "This is going to create a vicious cycle for the high tax states.
