On Thursday's broadcast of the Fox Business Network's "Evening Edit," Rep. Kat Cammack stated that President Joe Biden's plan to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is designed to save the president's poll numbers and will endanger national security without lowering gas prices.
Cammack said, "I think that they are doing this because they are so concerned about Biden's sinking, plummeting poll numbers that they are desperate for anything. We need to stop telling our adversaries exactly what we are going to do and what we're not going to do. And this move to basically drain a third of our strategic oil reserves, this is ludicrous. This is putting our national security at risk."
She added, "What they're doing with the strategic oil reserve, it's not going to lower the prices. It's not meeting the demand. It's putting us at risk. And the thing that we need to do is get the domestic production back up. But they need to release all the red tape that they have tied our producers up with. That is what is going to get us going again. We're sitting on it. We're standing on it. But all they have done is deflect, redirect, and misdirect the American people."
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias. They spin stories to make conservatives look bad and will go to great lengths to avoid reporting on the good that comes from conservative policies. There are a few shining lights in the media landscape-brave conservative outlets that report the truth and offer a different perspective. We must support conservative outlets like this one and ensure that our voices are heard.

GOP Rep. Cammack: Biden's Risking National Security by Draining a Third of Oil Reserves to Save His Poll Numbers
Cawthorn Outrage Is A Distraction, And Republicans Are Taking The Bait
"The sexual perversion that goes on in Washington, I mean, being kind of a young guy in Washington, average age is probably 60 or 70," said Cawthorn on the "Warrior Poet Society" hosted by John Lovell last week.
As Republicans prepare to discipline Cawthorn, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell continues to serve on the House Intelligence Committee with access to the nation's top secrets despite a relationship likely turned romantic with a suspected Chinese spy.
Fang Fang's influence on a member of the Intelligence Committee raised enough alarm among officials in the FBI that according to Axios, authorities presented Swalwell a "Defensive briefing" on the issue.
Although federal officials told Axios that Fang Fang sexually manipulated at least two midwestern mayors in prior years, the question of a romantic relationship with Swalwell remains an open question.
After an FBI briefing with congressional leadership, McCarthy declared Swalwell unfit to serve on the Intelligence Committee while Speaker Nancy Pelosi merely walked away from reporters.
The New York Times the paper of "All the news that's fit to print," has refused to ever spill ink on the Swalwell story.
Swalwell is on the House Intelligence Committee and his conduct jeopardized national security.
Biden Administration Endorses Child Sex Changes On Transgender Visibility Day
The documents, "Gender Affirming Care and Young People" released by the Office of Population Affairs and "Gender-Affirming Care Is Trauma-Informed Care" released by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's National Child Traumatic Stress Network, support a wide range of procedures including surgeries performed on adolescents.
"Today, the Biden Administration announced new actions to support the mental health of transgender children, remove barriers that transgender people face accessing critical government services, and improve the visibility of transgender people in our nation's data," the White House said in a statement on the guidance Thursday.
To transgender Americans of all ages, I want you to know that you are so brave.
The NCTSN document says that "Gender affirming care" might involve "Evidence-based interventions such as puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormones" and also includes "Access to opportunities that all children should have, such as playing team sports, safely using bathrooms in their schools and other public places, and positive relationships with supportive adults."
Gender identity issues have arisen with the participation of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the NCAA swimming championships, allegations surrounding Loudoun County Public Schools covering up a sexual assault by a "Gender fluid" student, and Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signing an executive order directing the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to investigate situations where some gender reassignment procedures are used.
"The Texas government's attacks against transgender youth and those who love and care for them are discriminatory and unconscionable," HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said in a statement earlier this month.
"[T]he Biden administration has adopted a policy encouraging harm to children, even funding it," Ryan Bangert, senior counsel and vice president for legal strategy at Alliance Defending Freedom, said in a statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Biden Nixes Offshore Oil Leases Thru 2023 While Tapping Oil Reserve
Joe Biden is trying to have his cake and eat it too as he shuts down exploration and production of oil and gas on onshore federal lands while acknowledging the importance of fossil fuels in the U.S. energy landscape.
The Oil Price dot com website reported on the Biden Administration shutting down lease sales for offshore oil and gas in the Gulf of Mexico as prices for the fossil fuels soar.
The drop of $370 million, Bloomberg notes, is the typical haul for the government from two oil and gas lease auctions in the Gulf of Mexico.
"A delay in the offshore oil and gas leasing program could mean nearly 500,000 barrels per day produced here in the US. At a time of geopolitical uncertainty and rapidly rising energy prices, Gulf of Mexico oil and gas production is more important than ever," NOIA said.
The administration once again has a fundamental misunderstanding of how leases work, The percentage of producing leases is at a two-decade high, with nearly two out of three leases producing natural gas and oil.
Biden faces political pressure to show he is tackling high gas prices, and he sought to deflect voters' anger, blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for launching the war against Ukraine and citing oil companies for leaving drilling prospects idle and land untapped.
Saying some U.S. oil companies are putting profits over production, he called on Congress to impose fees on companies that do not take full advantage of the leases allowing them to extract oil from federal land.
WH Stands by False Biden Claim that Hunter Made No Money from China
The White House defended Thursday Joe Biden's old claim that his son Hunter Biden did not make money from China and did not do anything "Unethical" with his business dealings overseas.
During the third presidential debate in October 2020, Biden stated emphatically that "Nothing was unethical" about his son's foreign business deals.
The moderator of the third debate, NBC's Kristen Welker, questioned White House communications directer Kate Bedingfield about Biden's statements during the White House press briefing on Thursday.
Earlier this week, The Washington Post confirmed several reports that a Chinese energy conglomerate paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his uncle.
The FBI has reportedly made significant progress on the investigation into Hunter Biden's business dealings, despite repeated assertions from Biden and his staff during the campaign that his son did nothing wrong.
"I don't have anything additional to add from this podium," Bedingfield repeated after another reporter questioned her about Hunter Biden.
"I don't have anything additional to add on this from the podium. But thank you," she repeated after a third reporter asked if President Biden had even read the latest stories about Hunter Biden.
Manchin: ‘If Anything, We Ought to Be Looking at Permanency’ for Title 42
While speaking to reporters on Thursday, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) urged the Biden administration to reconsider its reported plans to lift Title 42 and expressed his opposition to ending Title 42. Manchin added that, “If anything, we ought to be looking at permanency on Title 42,” and that doing so might push Congress to fix immigration policy.
Manchin stated, “I think they should reconsider. I sent a letter. I’m against removing Title 42. If anything, we ought to be looking at permanency on Title 42, and having a good — maybe that would get us to — spur us to get a good immigration policy that works for Americans, secure our borders.”
Biden's Border Plan: More Buses for Migrants to Reach American Jobs
President Joe Biden's deputies have a plan for dealing with the huge wave of young illegal migrants expected at the border once they lift the Title 42 epidemic barrier: Get more buses to deliver the migrants to jobs in U.S. cities.
They're now presenting their plan to us of what they're going to do when they take Title 42 off What they have worked on apparently for a year is a way to expedite people crossing the border and moving [them] into the interior at a faster rate They talk about "How do we actually move people to the interior faster so they don't get clogged up at the border and the images that all of you saw [on TV] last summer don't occur again at the border with thousands and thousands of people?".
The DHS process is already sending many migrants to nearby non-profits, which then use taxpayer funds and corporate donations to bus and fly the migrants to new jobs throughout the United States.
Mayorkas' plan would let the new migrants compete for jobs and apartments against many millions of disadvantaged and ordinary Americans.
In 2021, DHS secretary Mayorkas allowed more than cartel-delivered 1 million economic migrants across the southern border, alongside the legal inflow of myriad visa workers and roughly 1 million legal immigrants.
Once Biden lifts the Title 42 barrier, Mayorkas and his deputies expect perhaps 500,000 migrants to arrive at the border each month.
In 2014, a rush of migrants at the border wrecked public trust in the border policies set by President Barack Obama.
